Nice boot -
Really nice boot. Like the lace up so that you can adjust the fit around your ankle. I did find they run about 1/2 size larger. I usually where a 10, but had to return it for a 9 1/2. Like them so much I bought a second pair.

My first, but I hope not the last -
This is the first pair of shoes I bought from Zappos, and it certainly will not be the last one. The boot has a great classy look, feels comfortable, sturdy and fits like a glove. It feels safe. What I like most about it is that being a lace-up it's much easier to put on and take off than other types of boots.

Classically Styled boot -
I usually wear between a 12E and 13D, depending on the brand. For some odd reason these just felt outrageously long, however, the return service is quite pleasant. I bought these boots because I enjoy the styling of oxfords, but I wanted something that seemed a little more casual. They also seem fairly sturdy, and yet they are light weight (weigh less than my cap toe oxfords). Only problems are that they squeak horrendously around the eyelets, but that will hopefully subside after they're broken in. Also the shoelaces are quite short, could barely tie a knot with them on.

I bought the brown boot. Buyer should be aware this boot has a fairly high shine to it (maybe more than the website picture conveys). The shoe seemed a little long, but since it has a fairly pointy toe, I think the extra length is reasonable. The shoe also runs a little narrow.
As far as shopping with Zappos goes - it is very easy to make purchases and returns. I went through a number of shoe styles and sizes to find what I wanted and got no hassles about the number of returns. Billing and credits were handled correctly and promptly.

Smooth operator -
I have a condition that affects my lower calf muscles and I can't wear many dress shoes. Finding a shoe that is light enough, yet has the support of a high boot is extremely hard to find. I cannot say enough good things about this shoe. From the minute I dressed, it felt like an extension of my foot. It was light, but it didn't feel cheaply made. The boot has good support with a stylish design.

I have several pairs of Zappos shoes size 11 wide that fit perfectly. This pair labeled the same was so small I could not even get my foot in them.

Very cool stuff but seriously think about ordering them one size wider than you normally would. I have very standard feet and never had to worry about width of my shoes but these ones are very on the minimum limit of it. Otherwise they're nice...

I really like this pair of shoes. They are very comfortable for dress shoes and required no time to break in. no blisters or having to switch to another pair half way through the day.
The only issue I had when ordering is that the shoes run larger and narrower than normal. I normally wear a 9.5 regular and had to get an 8.5E in this shoe.

Cool tall comfort w/style and support -
Good looking and chic but needs better laces instead of the cheap ones that catch on the eyehooks and get torn. Also needs higher heel…I added another 1/2" to the heel and you should see how the style shines thru!!! Very cool look...

Great boots for my dad -
My father has always worn Madison boots by Stacy Adams. Because he has a slight handicap in one leg, these boots fit him well. I panicked when I could not find a pair, until I looked at Zappos and found them. They are very comfortable for Daddy, and he wears them everywhere, even to church. I love the shine these boots give; reminds me of the old days when men wore spotless shining boots- and my Dad can really shine his Madison boots. The price was also quite reasonable, and I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

I have received my "Stacy Adams" Madison Boots, and they are overall absolutely a perfect & comfortable fit. I have only one word to rate this shoe -- "SWEET." Outstanding with timeless design and style -
In the late 70's and early 80's, I wore Stacey Adams Madison Boots and could never understand why stores stopped carrying them. I continued to wear Stacey Adams, but my heart was always with the Madison Boot. I decided to go on line and much to my surprise, there they were. We were reunited. I bought to pairs, one black, one brown and I am very pleased. I have received lots of compliments. The leather is soft and the shoe is very comfortable. I was also impressed with Zappos customer service, the speed of delivery, and the ease of the website. All around high fives!!! Great job!

New Boots -
Looked for a good lace up ankle boot for quite a while. The boot is comfortable, goes well with business casual attire and has been a welcome addition to my shoe rotation. It goes really well with corduroy. Would have liked it even better if it had come in cordovan or a darker brown.

I have two pair of these high top shoes (black and brown). I bought them as dress shoes but now I find that I am wearing them more and more for both dress and casual wear, Why, because they are the most comfortable shoes in my closet. I like the look of them with a suit but they still look fine with khakis. They are wearing well and I'm sure I'll be back for another pair soon. I guess they could be called old fashioned but that's fine with me. Anyone who likes high-tops should find these to be an excellent pair of boots.

Great Madison -
The boots fit well, look good, and get positive comments on their looks. They are comfortable to walk in, just right after taking them out of the box. They didn't need to be broken in. Very comfortable shoe!

Looks sharp, but not great on comfort -
I love the look of this boot, but I find the arch to be too far forward. Plus, the boots make a weird scrunching noise, which I think is the leather breaking in. And a small complaint: the laces the shoes came with were frayed AND too short to actually tie the boot all the way up.

The only shoe for me -
I have been wearing this shoe for quite a few years. Due to a handicap, its the only shoe that offers the support that’s needed for my drop foot. Not only does it offer the support but it’s always very stylish (Great shoe!)

Excellent shoe -
I am very happy with the fit and comfort of this shoe. The only slight problem has been that the lace hooks have a tendency to pull out of the leather over time, and I eventually had all of them replaced with eyelets. Everything else on this dress boot has worn very well.
