I got these boots in a size 38 and they are a bit large - I need to wear a heavy sock underneath them - but it is absolutely worth it as they are the most comfortable boots I have owned in a very long time. They fit my calves snuggly and don't have the pinch of a zipper. The heel is just the right height for comfort and to look good under slacks or a skirt. I love them and am buying a second pair, so I will have a spare when these wear out! LOVE THEM!

I ordered this boot because it looked as if it would be comfortable. Being that I broke two toes not long ago it has become extremely difficult to find shoes/boots that are comfortable on my foot. All I can say is that I made the right decision when I decided to purchase these boots. They feel wonderful.

Fell apart -
Although these shoes look and feel great - the fabric that they are made out of isn't. The fabric bubbled up and tore in places and in other spots it ripped away from the sole. I was very disappointed in the end and that was only after a two months of wearing about once a week. Happily Zappos took my return for a full refund. Thanks Zappos for being so easy to work with.

Soft & comfy!
These beautiful boots fit like a glove. There was no "break in" period. The first time I wore them, I was on my feet all day, and they were very comfy. I bought the chestnut brown color, and it is rich and beautiful. The stretchy leather makes the boots easy to put on and take off. Getcha some!

Beautiful boot -
This boot looks great on and is comfortable. Looks good under pants or with skirts. Comfortable for walking. Very dark brown so can pass for black.

Rieker boots -
I ordered these boots in 7-7.5 and I've noticed my foot slides back and forth a little if I don't wear heavy socks. They're very comfy though and even with the sliding, I haven't had any blisters or rubbing spots on my feet. My one complaint about these boots is that the Stress Free technology that makes the boots so comfortable also makes a creaking noise when walking on carpet. I requested a new pair and the new pair seemed a little better. They seem to be getting a little quieter the more I wear them but I've been wearing them now for a good month and they still creak a little. I decided to keep the second pair though because the boots are really cute and sexy without looking too trendy and are very well-made.

Loved 'em!
I haven't been able to fit my calf into ANYTHING! I finally ordered these (even though I didn't want a stretchy calf), and I really liked them. I wear a size 9, but I bought some shoes in Barcelona and they are a 39. In these and in my Ecco's I wear a 40. I think the European sizing is different depending in what country they are made. I think that they are supposed to feel a little big too. I tried the 39 & it was too small--40 feels roomy. Really comfortable--even with the 2" heel. I can wear them all day at work, which is saying something for me. I really like the look of the toe too. I would buy Rieker’s again.

Fabulous Boot -
My feet are slowly going to ruin from years of high heel wearing so I'm making the switch to flatter shoes. These boots are cute, stylish & VERY comfortable. They squeaked a bit when I first wore them but it quickly stopped.

For work -
I work on my feet without relief for upwards of 10 hours a day and needed a boot that I could wear with a skirt during the Chicago winters. Though not as comfortable as a gel insert wedge, this boot has proven to work for such a situation. I LOVE that it is small around the calf. I'm a very tall size 2 with not much meat on me and it actually fits my calf!! Overall -- comfortable, good looking boot for everyday usage.

But if you have a bigger calf, I would hesitate. I wear a size 9, and have small legs and it is nice and snug. The leather on these is very soft, heel height is flattering and the soles have a non-slip surface.

Only boot that fits all the way to knee, fits over 14 and a half inch calves, narrow heel and wide enough toe/ball of foot, and you can walk and stand for more than half an hour. Scrunch shaft like a sock to put on.

Dressy but still casual -
Great shoe! The heel height is just 1 3/4 inches which makes it an easy shoe to walk in. They slip on comfortably, and feel good all day. There is minimal padding, so if you want to insert an additional cushy insert, it would be best to order a larger size than you usually wear.

Love the height, the color and stays comfortable and snug even around my thicker calves. I can wear this all day! I'll definitely be saving up for a second pair.

BEST boots ever -
When slipped into this pair of boots, world of comfort began. It felt so comfortable throughout when I moved around so much by foot. I have two pairs of Reiker boots! BEST Boots ever..GUARANTEED!

A good, comfortable alternative -
My only complaint about these boots is that the European sizing doesn't really work for me. I'm usually a 9 1/2 and I ordered the 41 and it's a little big, but I fear the 40 would have been too small. With that caveat, the boots are very comfortable although I don't think they are super-high-quality. There is something about the stretch vinyl that does seem a little cheap (ish). Nothing to prevent me from wearing them a lot, though.

Nice looking and fitting boot -
I thought I would like the Reiker boot by looking at the picture. Reikers usually have well made shoes that fit the human foot like they should fit. It is warm here now and I have not had a chance to wear the boots, but I am sure they will get plenty of wear in the fall and winter.

Finally.
I have been looking for the universal pair of boots for years and I finally found them in these Rieker boots. They can be casual or dressy. They have found the balance of having a nice sized heel, but are comfortable enough that I can hike around all day in them. There was no wearing in period, just put them on and go. And they were affordable for me. I'm saving up to buy another pair since it took me so long to find boots like these, I don't want to wind up back in the same boat once these wear out.

Booted For Concrete in NYC -
I love these boots. I ordered a 38, which is described as fitting 7-7.5 size feet. I would assess them as being between the two sizes, so when I look down at my feet, they seem a little larger than my usual size 7s. Never mind, because... they have a cleat-type sole for grip and a low heel (great for concrete. The upper is very soft and stretches comfortably over my 15-1/2 inch right calf (tighter on my larger left calf, so they don't go up as high). Although they are a bit difficult to get into, there is plenty of room for a sock and for orthotics (use double-sided tape to keep them in place while you are putting the boots on). My only concern is the stress you put on the leather upper pulling them on. (A long shoe horn didn't work for me.)

The boots are a little hard to get on and off, but other than that they're great! I got the size 9, which is my usual size, and they fit perfectly. I have a high arch and a bunion, so sometimes shoes are too tight on the top or side of my foot. But not these! I've been wearing them pretty constantly since I got them because they are very comfortable.

I rarely buy knee high boots because of my calf size (15"). These are perfect! Very comfortable and sleek. No clunky lacing or zippers. They fit like a glove. Easy to dress up or down. Do yourself a favor though and get a long shoe horn.

Comfortable and fashionable.
These boots both look nice and feel great. The only thing I was disappointed about is that the calf part is not leather (the shoe is). Maybe this is true of all stretch boots, but when I originally ordered I thought the entire boot was leather. Still, they look good (not cheap looking) and feel great!

A little strange at first since there was no zipper, but believe it or not, they go on and off very well and are extremely comfortable. The heel is perfect - not too tall to be too dressy and not too short. A good everyday boot!

I was skeptical about ordering boots online but I was soon put at ease with these boots. Soft, sturdy leather and an ample heel for us short folk out there. I ordered a 1/2 size up from the norm and they fit perfectly with just a tiny bit of additional room. They can be difficult to put on if you have large calf muscles in your legs but once on, they are a breath of fresh air.

Great Comfortable Boot -
This boot is really comfortable to wear all day at work. I wear and ordered an 8 1/2. It is a little roomy, but not annoying enough for me to have gotten a size 8. I have a little bit of a hard time wearing zip-up high boots, so this one is wonderful with no zippers. Slips on easily, but stays up all day long.
