Great Stretch Boot -
I bought these boots to replace another stretch pair that finally split at the seams after about 5 years. The chocolate color looks really good, they fit snug on my average calves, and no zipper is very sleek (the reason I like stretch boots best). Overall, they're casual but pulled together and comfortable.
What I don't like: First, the material scuffs easily and they don't rub out much. Second, I was wearing thin socks with them and walking around for a few hours. The stretch let them slip just enough to cause sore spots that were borderline blisters.
Happy with these boots.

I love my boots -
I love these boots - they are comfortable enough to wear all day long. I wouldn't wear them for warmth in the very cold weather but for the office, they are perfect!

Great Black Boots -
These look great on! These are one of the only pair of boots that I've found that fit my very narrow calf. They slip on and off easily. I'm very happy w/ this purchase.

Cute but not comfortable -
I HAD to buy gel forefoot cushions in order to survive my first day in these boots. I get TONS of compliments on them, but for how expensive they are I expected more. Little or no arch support, little or no cushioning. Usually boots offer more support. With the gel inserts, these are okay, but I wouldn't want to do a lot of walking in them. I sit all day. Also, they don't go up high enough. I'm tall (5'10"), so maybe a shorter person wouldn't have that problem.

Rieker's Boot -
I bought these boots in anticipation of the winter so haven't worn them yet except to try them on but they were soo comfortable right away. Soft and easy to pull on. They also look better than the picture. I thought they would be a great boot to wear with jeans or slacks but they would look good with skirts too.

Great Boot -
This boot fits very well and is comfortable. I've worn with jeans and they look great. You cannot tell they are not leather. Would recommend.

Poor quality -
I ordered this boot last fall. After a few weeks of wear the leather started puckering around the arch. Zappos was fantastic and let me exchange the defective boots for a new pair since I had only had them for three weeks. I just pulled them out of the closet yesterday and the boot is pulling away from the sole, the leather is cracking around the toe box and the puckering is happening around the arch. I live in the South so these boots do not see snow or much weather. I am VERY disappointed with this style boot. I love my other Riekers but these are just poor quality.

Calf too wide for me -
I am a true size 7 but they have 7-7.5 which I ordered and it was too big. I then got the 6.5 which fit perfectly, but the calf was just a little too wide at the top for my skinny legs. I had high hopes because these are really good looking boots.

Love my boots -
I like these boots because they are stretchy over my calves. I could never find boots that would zip up over my calves. They also have a rounded toe box, which is great because I had bunion surgery a couple of years ago and I believe my podiatrist would approve! The boots are stylish, too. Not old lady looking. They are cozy!

Great boots!
I liked these boots so much I bought a second pair. I walk a lot and they don't hurt my feet, even when I wear them all day. I put some gels in them for extra comfort and so they wouldn't be quite so roomy in the toe area, but they'd be okay without. They look great with skirts for formal or casual. I call them my Superman boots. Thanks for the usual great service, Zappos.

I'm enjoying these boots a lot. They look nice, have a soft heel so they're quiet to walk in, and they're comfortable. I find myself wearing shorter skirts than usual just to show them off!

Nice boot!
If you're looking for a neat, feminine, snug-fitting boot that is not leather, this one's for you. The material is not too shiny, as a lot of synthetic boots are, and it really does look like good quality leather. I bought the brown in my usual size 7.5 and it fits well. The only problem for vegetarians is that the boots may look too much like real leather, causing your animal rights friends to suspect you of losing the faith! I added foam inserts to make them more comfortable.

Great boot! Recommended!
Great tall boot. I got them for xmas last year in brown, and now I am ordering them in black. They go great with skirts, jeans, etc and the fit is just right. Not too baggy in the calf (I have avg to small calves) and just the right height. Usually I wear a 6.5, but I ordered a 36 and it fits great, given I usually wear it with trouser socks or tights. Can be a little tight in the toe box, but its no problem and really doesn't impact the comfort much unless you wear them for over a week, ten hours per day...

I love these boots. I search countless departments stores looking for high boots that fit right and stayed up on my calves - I have average sized calves - but finding the right pair seemed impossible. I was reluctant to purchase boots online, but w/ Zappos' "Free Shipping Both Ways" - felt I had nothing to lose. These boots are extremely comfortable and the stretchy top stays put. Loooove them.

hard to fit -
From the moment I put these boots on they were comfortable. More stylish than I can usually wear, no problem with the calf being to short or tight. There was enough room to insert my 3/4 foot orthodics. I bought the boot in both brown and black.

Super duper boot!
I bought this boot a year ago in brown. It's rich in color, soft in texture, and super comfy. I never had to break them in. I wear them all the time. They still look new after a year of wear. They are very soft and stretchy and are especially cute with skirts because you can see how they scrunch around your ankle. I was surprised to see that I could slip them on without a problem, and they are comfortable to wear all day, whether it be at work or walking all over town. I've ordered another pair in black. I love this boot!

Rieker black boots -
This boot was the third that I ordered. It fits great and is comfortable for all day wear. I am 5 1/2 months pregnant, and I need a steady and low heel. This boot fits the bill, while still being stylish!

Awesome boot -
I never wear heels and have to stand around all day on my feet at work. These boots are really comfortable to stand in, from the footbed to the calf area. They are pretty simple to pull on and I like that they don't have a zipper that can pinch skin. I do wish that the toe and heel were a little less chunky and a little more trendy, and that the color was a little lighter (they are almost black). But other than that, a fantastic boot!

Good all-purpose boot -
Usually I wear a 6.5 or 7, or 37 European (which I ordered). The fit is good, though the pitch is a bit off for me. My feet seem to be thrust forward in these boots, but a gel pad under the ball of the foot fixed the problem. They bag a bit around the ankles, but I do have very skinny ankles. Style-wise: They are passable (not great). I wanted a plain simple boot, yet something more refined looking. Comfort: Accommodate my bunion well; no pain. Since they don't breathe, they do get too hot during strenuous activity, but they're just fine for normal day-to-day activity. These boots have a soft lining and I find them easy to put on and take off. I'm satisfied with these boots, but my leather Naturalizers (which don't seem to any longer be available) are a more comfortable and better looking boot.

It's a keeper -
These boots required no break-in at all: super comfy, despite not being very cushy.
There's no need to order up a half-size to accommodate socks because the boot runs slightly large. A pull-on boot will have some slack around the ankle, but this one doesn't look at all sloppy.
The chestnut color is terrific. It's a beautiful, rich brown with some subtle variegation. I'll use it as a neutral & wear it often.

Fabulous boots -
As the Zappos reviews indicate, these boots are made for walking. Light and comfortable, they're a total pleasure. I was doubtful about the non-leather uppers but they really do look and feel like soft leather.

Mostly comfy, mostly good looking -
I'm happy with this boot although I'd prefer something that bagged a little less around the ankle area. I usually wear between a 6.5 and 7 and even the 6.5 feels a little bit big. Still, it's a good boot for the price.

My second pair!
I love the simple design of this comfortable boot--I walked miles the first day I wore my first pair! It fits snugly enough around the foot (I'm a 9N) and calf so that I can wear it with dresses and skirts without feeling clunky. I now own two pairs because I love the look and comfort. I would definitely recommend.
