Thank you, Zappos, for the wonderful service and fast shipping! I have big feet for a 5'6" girl (size 11 US womens) so it's sometimes a challenge to find name brand shoes in my size. I actually ordered these in size 10 mens and they fit perfectly! Very cute and they feel durable, perhaps a little too stiff but the more I wear them the softer they feel. Plus from far away they don't make my feet look all huge like my older Converse All-Stars did. I will definitely be buying my shoes here from now on! I highly recommend Zappos to all my friends!

These shoes are really cute, and the velcro is so handy...which is why I'm still trying to make them work (with shoe pads and moleskin) even though they're torture to walk in! Do not buy these if your feet are at all wide. I bought a half size larger than usual, but they still squash and rub my toes, and the seams inside where the tongue attaches are rough. The soles are hard as a rock. I'm still wearing them. I keep hoping they'll feel great after they're "broken-in."

I love these shoes! They take a little while to break in, but are easy to slip in and out of after they are. I got the Deep Red/Black ones and the red color is not as bright as they are on the screen, which was actually better for me.\r\nVANS FOR LIFE!

These shoes are great. The velcro closure really simplifies things for me. I have been getting to work a little earlier now that I don't have to tie my shoes. They're easier to take off too.

Great daily wear shoe -
These run true to size, are comfortable on wide feet, and are about as simple and clean as shoes can get.
Expect a few days of break-in.
These shoes are also great for dead lifting/squatting at the gym, as they're soles are level and stable.

Not for big feet -
I've been trying to find some canvas shoes to wear on the weekends and to class but these are not it. Although I have seen them on smaller feet and though they were adorable, they are so unflattering on size 11 feet. It seems that after a certain size they lose the cute factor and just look like giant men’s shoes on a woman's feet. Were I to have smaller feet I would definitely order these. I did order them a half size small and the fit was perfect although they are a little wide.

This is my second pair of Prison Issues and I love them. Laces seem a thing of the past. Lightweight, awesome looks, love them. Era 'Z!

I like colorful shoes. I got these in blue. They're pretty awesome. Not too good if it’s cold out. Overall good though.

Cute, sturdy everyday shoe -
I am a female with a regular sized foot so the shoe is a little wide for me at the front and toe. I know this is a unisex shoe so I supposed this is expected. This shoe looks good with jeans and skirts in a casual setting. As a cyclist this is very convenient when I have to go from directly from my grubby day job to an art opening.

My son loves these shoes!
I bought these for my son, and he loves them. They fit him great, and are easy on-easy off just like he likes them. The thing he most likes is that no one else in his school has a pair like them. He enjoys being an individual and being comfortable, and these shoes fit him perfect on all accounts!

AWESOME SHOES - AWESOME ZAPPOS!!!
Once again, this is the only place that carries the larger sizes for my daughter’s distinct taste in shoes. At 15, she wears a men's size 11 (which is extremely hard to find in girlie looking shoes), but at Zappos, the selection is great. She has worn Vans for quite sometime, and finally wore out her last pair of slip on Hippos. She found these and absolutely loved them. I'm so happy that Zappos carries such a wonderful assortment of shoes and always in the larger sizes. It's much better than going to the mall and being disappointed when they only go to a men’s size 9. I will always shop here and will always recommend this site first. Awesome shoes - I've never really been a fan of this particular shoe style with the straps, but I've been a Vans fan for almost 8 years now, and these really stood out to me when I went shopping around on Zappos. The other reviews had me a little worried that they'd be too narrow for my wide feet, so I went to the local Vans store in the mall to try them on. To my surprise they were the same width of the Vans shoes I was already wearing, and the shoe fit fine when I tried it on. They didn't have the black/black style I wanted, so I came back home and ordered them from Zappos. I was absolutely thrilled when I found that Zappos had upgraded me to next day air mail at no extra charge, and I've been wearing them since. They're pretty stiff at first, but they seem to be slowly breaking in. I think the rubber toe rubbed the top of my foot raw a little, but nothing significant. They have that Converse look without being uncomfortable, and I'd imagine they'd look as good with shorts/skirts as they do with jeans. Love 'em!

I adore these shoes. They look great with everything and they are super comfortable. You have the strength of a regular shoe with the ease of a slip on... they are fantastic.
I kept mine pristine for so long and then eventually started wearing them to work (food service) and the dog park and killed them and now they are out of stock forever. Boo! I'm getting them again the second they are back in stock. Awesome shoes!!!

I love my Prison Issues.
Zappos is awesome. I got my shoes WAY earlier than predicted, and they fit perfectly. They hurt a little the first day, but after about two hours, they were broken in. Great shoes. Great website.

Not exactly true to size -
It’s a nice looking shoe, but loose. I wear a size 8.5-9 depending on the shoe brand. The length of this shoe compared to my Adidas 8.5 shoe is the same, but because the material is so much thinner than the leather of normal shoes, it fits like a 9. I'd buy a half size smaller.

Great Shoes!
My brother likes the loop and hook style shoes. The gray two-tone color is hard to find. The shoes are light weight, comfortable, and easy to get on and off. My brother is hard to please, but he had no complaints about these shoes.

These Vans are a hit! Super cool camo-skulls rock! I was worried they'd be too narrow for my wide foot, but they were actually perfect. I was also nervous that I would look like Ronald McDonald in my woman's 9.5 if I wore them with shorts or a skirt - no problem there either. The only negative thing I could say is that they probably aren't the best for lots of walking - at least until you've broken them in.

I just received my Vans. I don't normally wear this type of sneaker; I find them too flat and on the narrow side. These fit great and are surprisingly comfortable. I ordered them in the Black/White. The only issue I have with them is that the metal eyelet for the first strap rubs the knuckle on my big toe. Other than that they're great. I wear a size 11 in most shoes and ordered them in that size. Great fit. Free shipping, great too. Shipping upgraded to 1 day at no extra cost? FANTASTIC! I LOVE ZAPPOS!

Wow! I was a bit weary on buying size 9, because a lot of reviews said they run small, but the size 9 fit perfectly! These sneakers are *awesome* and they will look great with anything! I literally ordered these last night and got them this morning, using the 4-5 day shipping! Haha! I'm totally recommending these sneakers and Zappos to everyone!
