These are really great shoes. They run a little big about half a size big. The only down side is that they don't really have any arch support, but other than that they look and feel great!

CLASSIC -
I been wearing these for over 20 years and they still look and feel classic. No obvious changes to the design. I got the all suede uppers, which is new, but really no difference. I wear 9.5 vans, 9 converse, 9.5 adidas and 10 Nike and Puma. Hope that helps.

SKATE AND DESTROY!!!
These are a must for any thrasher. The ankle support is like none other. If you want a solid shoe that won't tear up quickly and offers full protection, these are the only solution. From the curb to the pool SK8-Hi kids.

I think these shoes are awesome, but don't give up if they aren't that comfortable at the start, they do break in in a few days. They skate pretty well. I've had them for a week, and the only signs of wear are on the left shoe which is a little rubber wear that’s it. Now stop reading and buy them!!!!!

Vans SK8-Hi are very hard to find, especially suede. Zappos has the most and hopefully they will get the red ones in one day. They really do fit 1/2 size larger. They are comfortable and warm and the rain and snow doesn’t bother them much either.

Great Shoes, Long Wearing!
These shoes are great; I bought them in a size larger than my son usually wears, because he has a very wide foot. I know that Vans will never let us down as far as quality and style go. We also had a great experience with Zappos! Super fast, free shipping-how can you beat that? We now know where to go for our Vans!

Impossible shipping speed -
I can't hardly believe how fast the shipping is. I ordered online after dinner on a Sunday woke up early Monday and the shoes were at the door mysteriously. Has Zappos found a way to teleport items? You tell me.
Zappos is number 1 in my book! Can't be beat!

Vans SK8-Hi™ Core Classics [Black/Black Suede] are very hard to find and are only run in very limited productions. I think only once or twice per year. I chose these over any other as the all black look is slick and does not show dirt n grime! I use em for skating, casual and dress shoes. You’re a fool if ya don't like Vans anyway!

They're awesome. At first they were really tight around the pinky toe area, but after a few days of walking around, it broke in. Now they fit fine, and of course they look great.

Best ever -
I got these, my first pair of real hi-tops since I was a kid. They turn heads, and they’re just nice. I am vegetarian, and am glad the true white was the one they kept as synthetic materials and canvas, cuz otherwise I’d be crying. The hi-top tongue can start to droop and bend a bit, digging into your foot, which is the only drawback. I’m getting used to it though.

Great shoe! These are the shoes that we wore skateboarding in the early '80s and they are the same quality as they were then. Please continue carrying this product.

A punk classic -
I have fond memories of these shoes from the inserts of hardcore records and skate videos, so nostalgia got the better of me and I ordered a pair. These high-tops are much, MUCH more comfortable than the low-top variety. More cushion in the footboard and solid ankle support, both essentials if you're use to more "athletic" designs like New Balance. I've never seen this particular color combo before (black with a yellow pinstripe and yellow laces) so kudos to Zappos for stocking it. Great service, great price, great shoes, highly recommended.

Finally got me some Vans -
I've wanted a pair of Vans ever since I saw my first skateboard mag 20+ yrs ago. For one reason or another, never got around to purchasing a pair. Now that I’m back into skateboarding, decided to finally take the plunge and I've learned a few things about Vans. They're great for lounging around and taking short trips, comfy enough to wear all day though. They're not ideal for skating mostly due to lack of support the newer skate shoe styles provide. Oh, they're not ideal for long walking trips either I walked to sightsee all over Rome, Italy, but my dogs were cursing me out when I got back to my hotel.
Otherwise, they're great. Besides, nothing says "Cali-skater-cool" like a pair of old school Vans!

Been wearing Vans since the 80's, one of my favorite brands and with the selection of styles that match my activity. And as always, Zappos.com had them at my front door within a few days.

Move over Converse -
BEST alternative to Converse shoes. Great looking and good for lounging/short walks.
Don't plan to skate comfortably in these though.
And they fit like Converse, order a half size smaller TRUST ME. I'M NOT LYING. I wear size 14 and I even got 13's that fit PERFECTLY.
