Ecco Trak II High Review -
Great boot. I've been wearing them for about a month now in the snow and cold f an Idaho winter. My feet stay warm and dry and the boots continue to look good no matter what I do to them. I have other Ecco shoes that have lasted forever and have looked good throughout their lives and I expect these to do as well.

This is my Husbands 3rd pair -
My husband bought his first Track II about 7 years ago. He built a house in it, washed it with the water hose, you name it...this boot went through it. This last purchase was his 3rd pair. He loves it. We went to visit his Father and he had the same boot on. I paid a lot more for it at Zappos but I ordered it late for Christmas and they shipped it immediately and shipped it free.

Fantastic boot!
I ordered my first pair of these boots over 6 years ago and wore them through all four years of college (snow & ice weather) and two more years through my MBA program. Finally had to order a new pair. Love these boots!!

These boot fit great. They are my 2nd pair, I had my first pair over 5 years. They are lightweight, warm, but not too warm. Very comfy, as I can wear them all day. No break in time required.

Ecco Track II: Simply The BEST!
I am a Federal Express courier who works 50 hour weeks, gets in and out of my truck over 100+ times a day, walks over 5 miles daily and is exposed to all weather elements. I pound the pavement, concrete, wet grass, curbs, puddles, metal truck floors and STILL will get over 2 years of life from these remarkable Ecco Track II boots. Any courier from UPS, DHL, and USPS will understand…THAT is remarkable. Most couriers buy a pair of Nike, Reebok, Adidas, New Balance, etc and in just 6 months, they are SHOT! When a fellow courier at FedEx introduced me to the Ecco Track II and told me that it would cost $200, I thought he was out of his mind! However, I now swear by them and will never go back to sneakers or other boots again for work. I just bought my third pair and the secret to extending the life of the Track II is to take out the insole every night after work and place a cedar shoe tree in them to absorb all the moisture and keep the boot sturdy. Three things stand out about the Ecco Track II boot: exceptionally durable, extremely comfortable and best of all, Gore Tex! Never will you go around a puddle again! Trust a FedEx courier who abuses the daylights out of his boots: Plunk down the money for the Ecco Track II. . . and you will swear by them.

Zappos Forever -
The Track II is a great boot. This is my third pair. I tried the Track IV, but sent it back... it is built on a different last and not as comfortable. The real story is Zappos. I buy all my shoes from them and customer service is the key. I called late last night to "swap" the Track IVs for the IIs. The new shoes were on my porch at noon today. You can get the brands offered by Zappos at many retail outlets, but Zappos has set and exceeded the standard for customer service. This customer is more loyal than ever before.

Second Time Around -
Based on more than three years of nearly constant wear (excluding the hottest days of Jul & Aug) in my first Ecco Track boots, I now have a second pair. Only the outer sole surfaces wore through on the first pair which still have limited use and full comfort. The second pair has all the comfort of the first and an equally long life is expected.

This is my second pair of boots. I am on my feet all day and I need boots that are comfortable and provide the needed support, these boots do just that!

Like slippers!!
Bought them to save my feet on Prescott,AZ 40 miles of hiking trails, but have worn them to work at the hospital! Have to look down to see if I am wearing my slippers or the boots! Thinking of buying the low top version.

My second pair - most comfortable shoes I’ve owned. Durable, light, breathable gore-tex, lots of support...I have a narrow foot and sometimes have trouble finding shoes that fit well. If you've got wide feet, try something else. I rated the appearance 5 stars but I’m 42 and what little I ever knew about style is hopelessly outdated.

Best hiking boot made -
As Asst. Scoutmaster in our high adventure program, I like to challenge the oldest scouts. That means jog the last 3 miles of a 20 mile day hike. These boots fit like a glove. Last weekend my wife and I hiked the 15.5 mi.National Trail Trek up South Mtn. in Phoenix, AZ. The next day I was ready for the 10K run (in running shoes). You simply never tire in these boots. I've hiked in Danner, Wolverine, Merrill, Columbia and Rocky - all fine boots, but the Ecco becomes part of my foot. Blisters and fatigue are impossible. I'm 63, but feel half that age in these boots. Not cheap, but worth every penny.

Ecco Track II best shoe EVER!
You can buy this shoe and the first day you wear it you can hike 10 miles without a blister. They are really nice looking and the exterior is soft not hard like some hiking boots. I am female and wear this boot but my husband wears the same boot also. I have the first pair I ever ordered from 10 years ago and they still look good. Everyone comments on what an attractive boot this is but truly it is even more comfortable. Enjoy!

These are the best boot ever!
I bought my first pair in 2001, the sole wore thru just a little, but Ecco has a lifetime warranty, all I did was send them in their postpaid tyvek bag and wa la, they gave me a new pair!! Can you believe it, now I will have another 5 years! Thanks Zappos and Ecco!

Nice boots, a bit too pricey -
These boots aren't as tough as some of the comments say. The first pair I had to send back because the stitching came apart. Wish I just got my money back. I only wear them to the office when it's raining. I can feel every pebble and I can't imagine taking them hiking. I'll stick to my Danner's work boots. They're the best. These Boots aren't worth the money. The only trail I would take these on is the paved ones. The soles are too flexible and for those that really hike, stiff soles keep you more balanced and are key to support. Don't buy these boots for hiking or heavy duty work. But if you want people at the office to be impressed, then go for it.

Trap, Sporting Clays, Skeet...read on.
With cold weather upon us here in New England, its time for fall/winter Skeet, Sporting Clays and Trap Leagues. Practicing for and competing in these sports all day, in various temperatures and weather conditions puts a lot of stress on your lower body. It’s great to have a comfortable, dry, stable and supportive platform to shoot from. These boots fit the bill, in spades. Allowing one to keep your mind where it needs to be, on the target.
Ecco certainly has their own idea about sizing their products, hiking, golf, these boots, whatever. If you have to exchange them it’s worth the effort. And the Zappos Customer Support Team is the best, in the business. So they will help you through it.
To me, they're good for at least one additional target. And you know that means a lot, when you hover at 96, 97!

I've hiked three continents with these. I agree with the positive consensus here, except I can find nobody who will resole them, except with Vibram - which I am confident, will destroy most of the comfort advantages. It's breaking my heart.

Bought these boots 2 weeks before summiting Half Dome in Yosemite, the break in period was very brief and the boots kept my feet comfortable the entire way on my trip. Definitely would recommend.

This is the third pair of these that I have bought. The first pair is still the best. Second pair stitching is falling apart. And each pair seems narrower than the first. I still can't find anything I like better because of their lightness and the fact that they are truly waterproof...at least for a long time.

Great Boot for Comfort, Leather Great-
The shoe and sole have great comfort and the leather is waterproof.
However I have had 2 pairs. I have one for two months and the sole started to disintegrate.
The other pair I have for two years and the sole has disintegrated on one side of the shoe and in the middle of the second shoe.
