Too bad it didn't last -
Loved this bag. People are right though--it doesn't hold too much more than your computer. A couple of files and that's it. Its full. Trying to put the Mac power cord in there makes it bulge out.
I used this bag daily--it lasted less than a year. The fabric frayed at the seams. I wish they'd made it more durable.

This is a great laptop bag. Very durable yet stylish. It fits over my shoulder easily, yet I can also carry it by the handles. It is a bit on the heavy side. It can hold my laptop, a book and a few folders. Sometimes I wish it could hold more, the size constraint does force me to take along only the things I need.

This bag is so perfect for me. I wanted something big enough to carry my laptop, the cords etc, and my notebook and still have room for a textbook, newspaper etc., room for my wallet and cell phone, but small enough to carry without the computer and not feel like I had a big ol' case with me. There is plenty of room for all those things without being cramped. My 15.4" Mac Book Pro is a perfect fit but you couldn't go any bigger at all. It all depends what you want but for me- it is exactly what I've been searching for.

Nice bag - but just for computer -
I did really like the color and design of this bag, BUT it's not a good bag to carry all your things, JUST your computer, one or two books/files and computer cords. I was very disappointed because I was hoping that I didnt have to carry a separate purse when I was using this bag, but you definitely do. HOWEVER would be a perfect bag for someone who was looking for a computer-only bag. Very cute. Its also very very stiff - rubs a lot under your arm...very structured.

Fab Bag!
This bag is GREAT! I ordered it because it looks like a cute shape and was not as boring looking as other bags I'd looked at. It is a great shape, is lightweight and has a light-colored interior so it's easy to find things in the bag. The outside pocket is also very handy.

Exactly what I was looking for -
I am very happy with this bag - I wanted a computer bag that would look nice enough for work, but still be durable and comfortable to carry and that is exactly what this is. My 15.2 PowerBook fits perfectly in the padded interior pocket, and there's enough extra room for folders and a pair of shoes without being too bulky. It really does stay put on your shoulder too, which was my primary complaint with my old bag. I'm not sure I'd call it a unisex bag, however - the shape of the bag and flowered lining are more feminine.

Love this bag -
I got myself a peacock blue one last winter. The color looks prettier than what is in the picture. This is a very elegant bag. I carry it to work, to school, have received many compliments. I can put my laptop and a heavy textbook in, and there's still a lot of room for stationary. I love the shoulder strap, protect my shoulder well, no matter how much heavy stuff I am carrying, my shoulder does not hurt.

Awesome!
This is everything I had hoped it would be...a more stylish laptop bag/briefcase that can withstand the rigors of traveling. One more pocket on the outside or side would have been nice...but really no complaints!

Great multipurpose bag-
At first I thought this bag was too small for my laptop + school notebook + other stuff, but once I figured out not to stuff too much into the laptop pocket, it works fine. Every day I find more to love about this bag. Like how when it rained I didn't have to worry at all about anything getting wet- no open pockets. And the zippers are the easiest I've ever used. And when you open the main pocket, the purse stays on your shoulder and doesn't flop out. These little things make it a fantastic purse that I'm sure I'll be using for years to come.

Exactly what I was looking for -
The last review has a pretty good summary of the features. I wanted a bookbag that wouldn't be too bulky, just the essentials. This easily fits my iBook laptop, plus a couple thin textbooks. I have it in Silver, which is light gray with a touch of blue-green. It's somewhat shiny without being cheesy metallic. Really quite snazzy! GREAT BAG.

Great Around The Town -
Well made and stylish bag that has plenty of room for a 15inch powerbook, powercords, and even more. Exceeded my expectations. Zappos even carried a newer version of the bag, more colors, and larger computer sleeve, than Timbuk2 has advertised on their website. Great service as well. Very fast.

THE computer bag -
First and foremost, the Marina does its job. It holds a computer, is well padded, and solidly built. The waterproof bottom is a particular joy. The bag has an intelligent selection of pockets; the front pocket fits most umbrellas, and includes a cellphone sub-pocket. The zippered inside pocket has a key-attaching device. All linings are also waterproof (and very stylish). One can also fit standard files inside, and several books. The straps have non-slip tops of the same rubberised material as the bag's base, and they do indeed not slip. The bag also sits comfortably on a good coat without rubbing its fabric away. Other advantages - it stands up well, fits under aircraft seats, and is by far the easiest bag I've used for quick access to a laptop at airport security. I've been through several laptop bags, and this is the best so far. It's also been through some interesting weather over the last month, and withstood everything with grace. Perhaps most importantly, the bag has style. A happy fusion of form and function, this is a bowling-bag-esque hybrid of handbag, briefcase, and computer bag. Recommended.

Timbuk2 Marina Computer Handbag-
Our daughter was very surprised for Christmas when she received this bag and her first laptop computer. Red is her favorite color and your shipping was outstanding. The quality of this product is excellent and we will buy from you again.

Holds surprisingly a lot!
This bag can hold my laptop and two standard sized textbooks. The textbooks can be placed in on their spines, so there is ample room for more stuff on top to fit in my laptop cord and umbrella. Very sturdy also.
