Bought for Mom -
I bought these in green for my mother (taupe for myself). She normally wears a 7; we had to exchange for a six, but she is 87 years old and shrinking, she says. Oy. Anyhow, they're great. I used the free shipping label to return the 7's, but changed my mind from UPS to USPS after I had already printed the UPS label. No problem! Just went back and chose USPS and printed that one. My credit card showed the merchant credit within a week. I really can't say enough about the customer service here. Absolutely the best!

These Birks are great. I had some knock-offs for the last two summers previous, and the difference is just incredible. These have already molded to my feet perfectly in less than a month. Fantastic look, fantastic feel, excellent buy.

Love this sandal!
It would have taken maybe 2 minutes for me to forget I even had shoes on, except I kept looking down to admire them. Birkenstocks are pricey compared to some other brands, but you truly get what you pay for. As far as shopping at Zappos, I recommend it to all my friends who mention the word "shoe" in a sentence. Can't beat the service!

Always a wonderful shoe -
Birkenstocks have always been great shoes. Funky but comfy. Toe surgery inspired this purchase, and I haven't worn any other shoes since. There was another site that had these shoes for less; Zappos did their price protection as promised. And, they were so nice about it! Wow! I'm impressed. This company honors what they advertise. The customer service is better than I have seen any where else, Internet or brick and mortar.

Rock solid Birkenstocks -
This is my third pair of Birkenstocks. I averaged 5 years each on my first two pairs. I'm rough on shoes and love my sandals. They are worn regularly and carry a lot of weight. The local Birkenstock store only had the narrow width in a 48, so I turned to Zappos. As usual they have what I need in the size that fits me. With the great shipping special, I got my shoes next day!

The perfect sandal -
Birkenstock sandals are comfortable. We found the suggested US size to be larger than one would normally wear. It was necessary to buy 2 sizes smaller that the stated size. Zappos is the greatest. Orders are shipped immediately and the return policy is so easy.

Birkenstock Arizona -
Bought them because I have plantar fasciitis and needed the support for the beach. They were fine, I think they need to be broken in a bit before they are comfortable but the suede was soft and easy on the skin. I think I should have gotten the narrow even though I don't normally order narrows because these are very wide and loose on my feet but fine for the beach and pool. Wouldn't walk around town in them.

I got these for my husband to replace a pair he had being wearing since before I met him.

Help with sore feet -
These sandals have helped this senior be able to walk without (bone spur) pain. Better than the prescription orthotics. It is cold now but just add socks. Took awhile to mold to my foot; at first I didn't think I would like them. Now they are what I put on almost everyday. They may be for the young, but I love them too.

I have worn Birkenstocks for over 9 years and they are the first thing I put on in the morning and wear them every minute I am at home.
They have really helped my feet and back.
Zappos give such great service. I will always try them for shoes.

Birkenstocks always comfortable -
I have never had problems with Birkenstocks fitting properly as long as the size is correct. Plus, my favorites are the suede (not because they are more durable, because as long as the suede and cork is water proofed, they are more durable). But because they are more comfortable.
Additionally, Birks mold to your feet, unlike other brands, so it's like walking with support and walking with comfort.
I've had so many foot problems lately, that it's nice to know that I can always return to Birks and know that they, like a good friend, always work with me.
I just wish the company made a dressier shoe, so I wouldn't ever have to put up with the pain of "more" fashionable shoes again for those special occasions.

I wear this shoe year round. I hope they never change it. It is great to be able to find them easily and not have to shop around. The most comfortable shoe ever!

The best shoe I've found for my very problematic feet!
I have to deal with very wide feet, arches that are slowly falling, twisted toes, humpy toes, and a bunion on my left foot - finding anything for my feet that's truly comfortable for more than five minutes is extremely difficult. From the first try-on of Arizona my feet were happy - they wanted to dance! I can comfortably wear them all day - and I do. My feet don't hurt so much anymore, and my knees feel better too. I will definitely be checking out other Birkenstocks.

I have been wearing Birkenstocks for 20 years and find them to be the most comfortable shoes. They are great for people who spend a lot of time on their feet.

I would have ordered a 37 if I hadn't had an opportunity to try them on. As a result I ordered a 35M. I will order them in a 35N next time.

Break them in slowly -
I wore them while doing laundry and for a few hours for a couple of weeks to try to break them in. I took them camping and the ridge under my toes started to hurt. Not bad enough that I couldn't walk it's just that nothing touches that area so much with my other shoes. They have great arch support and once they're broken in they feel good.

I've worn a size 11 since 5th grade, have flat feet, and have a heel spur. Walking long distances has been a problem. I was delighted to have such a variety of Birkenstocks to choose from on your website. Your prices are fantastic and the service is impeccable. The Birkenstock Arizona is a "must have" for anyone with problem feet. Once you wear them you'll be amazed at how good you feel.

These are without a doubt my favorite shoes. They are extremely comfortable, though you must wear them in before they truly fit to your feet. I went to the Birkenstock store to get fitted before purchasing mine, but the European to American sizing conversions provided on Zappos seemed accurate. Not to mention, free and very fast shipping! I have been wearing the same pair nearly every day for a little over a year now, and it is a joy to step into these baby's in the morning. I wear them in the winter too! Consider investing in some cork sealant and footbed cleaner, as these products will prolong life and just make your shoes more enjoyable to wear. These shoes are worth every penny.

Best shoes ever! This is my 2nd pair of Arizona, and previous one lasted 5 years before I had to throw them out. They are so comfortable and good for your feet that I never want to take them off my feet. I have several other Birkenstock models which are comfortable as well but Arizona rocks. They do run a little big and wide so you should try them on before you purchase.

These are the best shoes on the market. I wear them constantly. I live in my Birkenstocks! Whenever I am not at work or school I am wearing my Birks. These shoes wear like iron and are the most comfortable shoes ever. There's no feeling in the world like a broken in pair of Birkenstocks. I wear them constantly all summer, and inside and on dry days in the winter. Recommended, a true classic. My girlfriend has a pair also, and we both love the comfort and styling
