I bought the Doris style from Trotters to wear with a suit for a job interview. The first pair that arrived were too tight in the front. I have bunions to work around. I sent them back and exchanged for a wide size. The speed that they arrived in was amazing. The second pair fit in the front but were too loose in the heel. I decided to keep them and will put in heel strips to tighten them up. Also, there is a little notch with elastic in the front opening. A great idea for a little more give.

I really like this shoe. I am not a high heel person but I can wear these for dress. I also have very narrow feet so it is hard for me to find shoes that fit. This is great!

Anytime I can wear a shoe right out of the box, I'm a happy camper. I have a very narrow foot with one hammer toe and even though these shoes are very narrow, they are also very comfortable on my foot. They seem to be true to the size and width. I can't wear much of a heel; these look trim and dressy without being "high" heels.

I wear a 12 Narrow, but this shoe fit like a size 11. It crunched my toes. I wore it to work one whole day before I entirely realized how much my feet hurt, and so could not return them. I highly recommend this shoe, but just buy a size larger than you usually wear. If it came in size 13, I'd buy a pair in every color. I loved so many things about this shoe: it's attractive, can be worn dressed up or dressed down, the heel height is just right. It's the pair of shoes you can just jump into and it's going to be right.

These shoes are extremely comfortable shoe making them great for walking around a city. I wore these for the first time last night not knowing that we would have to park quite a few blocks from our show. They were extremely comfortable the entire time and held up well in the pouring rain. They are very versatile as they can be dressed up or down. Highly recommended

I have very wide feet and cannot find shoes in any shoe store in Vancouver, Canada. I found this shoe approx 5-6 years ago and I keep buying it year after year. It is the only shoe that I wear from September to June. It is very comfortable and I can wear it for walking, to work or to a restaurant or even a fancy evening to the Opera. Just got 2 pairs from Zappos because I am afraid that it will be discontinued and then I don't know what else will I wear.

These shoes are very comfortable, attractive, real classics! They seemed a bit small at first, but the leather is soft and flexible. After a day of wear, they fit my feet nicely.

This shoe is lovely. The heel is perfect for stability. The size feels correct. I bought the brown crock color and it would go with brown or black, very nice. Sadly, my foot is "tall" and the toe box on me is just too short from top to bottom. My toes felt like they were being flattened after only a couple of minutes in them.

The Trotters Doris shoe is made of leather. It is a very comfortable shoe. The size and width of the shoe are true to size. It is a low heel which I feel is very comfortable for casual and dressy dresses. I loved this shoe so much I bought it in other colors.

I ordered these shoes in white pearl, and they are the best! I have a very narrow foot, and these fit perfectly. They are a style that will go with dresses and slacks and are very comfortable. I would like to have them in other colors. Since I am "older" I especially like the heel. I would highly recommend this shoe. Another Trotter style that I like also is Jamie. Trotters is my favorite brand!

Outstanding Shoe - This is the most comfortable shoe I have purchased in a long time, and one of the best-fitting shoes I own. The fit is absolutely perfect, in exactly the size I ordered. I am a pretty true 12N, but find that most shoes these days tend to interpret that very differently; it's all over the map. This shoe fits perfectly. It's a great stylish flat for pants, skirts or whatever. I bought it primarily for work, and it's great. A seriously good shoe.

Construction problem - I bought the black patent version. The sole of the right shoe separated from the upper. The shoes had never been wet, and they had not seen much wear; the sole is hardly scuffed. Since I was on a trip outside of the US, the failure was quite inconvenient. I did not think of calling Zappos when I returned. This is the only pair of Trotters I have ever had a structural problem with, though. I rather depend on Trotters because they make shoes in narrow sizes.

The most comfortable shoes I have purchased in years! I have such odd feet it is really hard to find shoes. I wear a size 12 but my feet are wide in the front and narrow in the back kind of like a diving fin. :-) In any case tough to find shoes...they are either too narrow in the toe or two wide in the back and cause blisters but these, put them on the first time and never looked back. I plan to buy them in every color I can get!

The Doris style of Trotters is an excellent shoe as the low heel and wide toe area gives the shoe a good fit. I have worn these shoes on dressy occasions where I was standing for many hours, such as my daughter's wedding, the dress rehearsal for same wedding, many graveside funerals, etc. I currently own four pairs - black, navy, goldwash, and white pearl. Sure wish I had them all!!

This is a very comfortable shoe on my feet!!!! Due to foot surgery several years ago, the knuckle on one big toe stays raised and the pressure and rubbing of the shoe on the knuckle gets very very painful. I have been looking for a comfortable heel height with much discuss. However, I have found it with this Doris. I wore my shoes for an entire day with no pain. The leather is soft with no seams near the toe joint. This is a classic looking shoe and I was even told how nice they looked. True to size, I recommend this soft leather shoe!!

Basic Shoe -
I need a pump with a one inch heel that is roomy enough to accommodate my toes which sometimes hit the top of the shoe. This shoe has no seams across the top and is made of very soft leather. I wish it had some sort of bow or buckle at the top of the vamp to give it a little more style.

Thank you Zappos for sending my shoes in such a timely manner. I needed them for Easter and they arrived just in time.
I was very impressed with the packaging and how lovely they were.
I am an organist and needed a shoe with a lower heel that suits the playing of the pedals and these were just right.
Zappos is a wonderful place to shop because of the choice of sizes. This is a plus for me because I have a very long, narrow foot. I can hardly ever find a shoe that fits me anywhere else so I am very thankful I found you.

Lately it's been hard to find navy blue shoes suitable for work. These are not terribly supportive, not terribly comfortable, and not great looking -- on the other hand (or foot), they don't hurt much and they're decent looking. If only Wolky or Rieker or Ara made a navy shoe suitable for the office!

Can't beat this shoe.
This shoe is perfect if you want something dressier than a flat but not a high heel. The detail on the top gives it a classy look, and it is comfortable from the first moment. This is my third pair because I wear them so much and don't ever want to be without this choice!!

I really liked these. Very comfortable except on days when my feet were slightly swollen. I take a 10 1/2 so I was pleased to find something I liked so much in my size, but disappointed other colors were not available at the time I ordered the black.
