I ordered these shoes for my father who is a diabetic and as a result, has foot problems. I appreciated the fact that this shoe was available in a wider width. As soon as he received them, (the next day, thanks to Zappos), he called and told me that they were the most comfortable shoe he has ever owned. He liked the look of the shoe, as well. Classic styling a guy of any age would feel comfortable in.

There's not a ton to say about this shoe - it looks fairly nice, and it's pretty comfortable. I wouldn't order it if you have very high arches (which I do), but other than that it's a very good shoe.

Nice, but could be better -
Overall, I'm fairly happy with the shoe. However, the only reason I bought it is because I couldn't get the right size and width of the Bostonian Whitney. I have a black pair of the Bostonians and they are fantastic. Basically, the Hush Puppy looks nearly identical and the quality seems pretty good. The biggest difference between the shoe is the comfort. The Hush Puppy just isn't nearly as comfortable in the sole. The shoe insert is basically cardboard with a bit of gel in the heel. I've already purchased some Dr. Scholls inserts and like the shoe just fine now.
Additionally, the shoe ran a full size larger than my previous dress shoes. But so did the Bostonian. I'm guessing it's because I actually found wide enough shoes.
Still, it is a pretty good shoe for work or hitting the town, if you get some different insoles.

Airport Friendly and very comfy -
I got these for my son, who works at TSA in Chicago since they have no steel in them. This way, he doesn't have to constantly take his shoes off to go thru the checkpoint. We got his normal size and it fit perfectly and was VERY comfortable...required no break in time. They fit well immediately.

Bought a second pair -
Really liked this shoe. Very comfortable. Weeks later I still use a shoe horn to get on but once foot in shoe, it's super. I ordered brown and liked so much I got a black pair a week later. I ordered at 10:00 pm and they were on my doorstep at 3:30 the next day. I'm impressed.

My second pair -
This one is my second pair that I purchased after wearing the first one for over a year. I had 8.5, Wide for the first pair. It was comfortable, but a bit loose. At the end, I had couple of calluses which I believe were caused by the loose shoes. So I bought Size 8, normal for the second pair. So far, it's been about a month that I've been wearing. In the beginning, they felt tight, but after couple of weeks, they stretched out. I wish Hush Puppies made a better in-sole than the current one.

This may be the first time I have worn a shoe that actually fits me. I could never have found this size in stores here. I put my Spenco inserts in these with no problem. I may never buy shoes anywhere else!

I work in an automotive environment. I'm on my feet a lot during the day and there a lot of dirt, grime and fluids. These shoes are very comfortable and slip on easily. They seem to hold up really well to all the abuse. I've hurt my heel, but these shoes help a lot. I would recommend them over and over.

I had ordered a pair of Kenneth Coles for the same price that were a bit more stylish looking, but the Coles were banging against the outside of my ankle, so I returned them. These Hush Puppies are a lot more comfortable, so I'm happy with these so far

Great, great shoe. I never buy the same shoe twice. But this is the best. As it wears down, it looks more casual. The brown color is great. The only thing is that if you use this shoe daily, by one year the inside takes a beating. I still have mine from one year ago...Love it.

A very comfortable and good looking shoe. A little of a break in period, but otherwise great. Never even thought of Hush Puppies for this type of shoe, but glad I found these. They are great for work, and convenient for going through airport security.

Wow I am impressed with these shoes. I stand all day and have bad bunions. I need the availability of a wide width and these fit the bill. I usually spend a good buck on shoes due to the fact I am on my feet all day. My nephew told me check out Hush Puppies and he was right. Comfort along with style. The real test will be the longevity.

The only issue I had with this shoe is the heel pad. It's supposed to give some "support" to the heel. I suppose it does. However, it seems a little small for the heel, so you feel the sides of the heel insert when you first put them on. After wearing a short while, I don't think you feel it much.

Skeptical at first -
I have a very wide foot 5E. Needless to say it is very difficult to find shoes that fit. skeptical at first when I found this company on line. The first time I ordered shoes I ordered a 1/2 size to large on one pair, my fault, but they had made an error on the other pair as the wrong size shoes were in the correct box. I was not to happy about both of our errors, as I was leaving for vacation the next day and really needed new shoes. I ordered 2 more pair and had them delivered to the place I was going on Vacation. They arrived there the very next day and were waiting for me when I got there. The shoes were perfect, fit like a glove. When I got home I sent the shoes back. They made it such a breeze to return them, they sent me an email saying they had received the shoes and that they had credited my account. I can't say enough about this company. Keep up the great work.
