I just got this for my son. The suede is very soft so takes no time to break them. He's only three and it's his first slippers so it's taking him a while to get used to the shoes. However, he likes the fact that he has the same shoes with the rest of the family. I know that the comfort of Birkenstock is second to none so he will grow to love the shoes.
Only thing is although they are narrow, there's plenty of room. Also, he normally wears size 9 shoes including his sandals, but this is big. I guess maybe he'll get to wear them next summer also.

Along with kid's Roma, I ordered these Arizona’s for my son. I have the same Taupe Suede Arizona and my son loves to wear them every day. They are just great everyday summer shoes, which he could wear without any help. (He's only 2.5 years old.) I recommend highly of Birkenstock for the kids also because they give a good support for growing feet.

A hit with my son -
My son LOVES these shoes. That is all he wants to wear. They look great with shorts for play or even to dress up a little.

I am a fan of Birkenstocks Arizona. I love how they mold to the shape and size of your feet. We do a lot a lot of walking. They are comfy!!

My child likes the shoes. They are a bit wide for him. We had to punch another hole.

Kids are loving these retro 70s shoes--not my taste, but that is what makes the world go 'round. Zappos is a terrific company--great service and notifies you as soon as something becomes available!! Love buying from Zappos!

 |  | I want to thank you for your compassion!!! I explained, I think to all the employees, my situation about having lupus, and a car accident with a broken back, but still needing shoes. They have been all heart! You have picked the best people to work for you. I do not know if you realize it but because I have trouble finding shoes I feel like I know everyone. They are the greatest employees and an asset to Zappos. They really do care! Most people today just want to place their 8 hours punch in and out, get home, and forget their job. I truly feel these people at Zappos are the very best that any company can have as employees. Trump, eat your heart out – these people may not be rich, but where it counts, rich at heart. I truly respect them for them taking their time with me. Most of all, I pray you realize you have the crème of the crop working for you! Congratulations for such great people who do not just go to work for a check but because they care about the people they help. Like me!!! Who knows if I will ever walk again but, I can say they gave me the hope that I may and can walk if I try, especially with my new shoes. Thank you Zappos for the best service anyone can ask for!
