Shoe IS definitely smaller than marked. My husband normally wears 12D. He said this shoe was way too small.

Tight but Good Fit.
I like my boot to fit as tight as possible without hurting, and this boot seems to fit tight, good.
It has a feel of an all quality leather that I like.

Great shoe -
I purchased these shoes for use in the Charles Dickens Christmas Fair. They are an excellent shoe for the period. (Minus the zipper, but can't really see that at all) However that means that the shoe is getting a lot more use than what I would generally put a shoe through. After the first day I realized that the insole on the shoe wasn't going to cut it. I purchased new insoles and set about removing the old one. Which is attached VERY well I might mention. It is also paper thin which explains the comfort issue over prolonged periods of time. My advice. For occasional wear these are great. If you plan on being on your feet all day or dancing a lot, go a full size bigger and purchase a good insole. As it is now, the shoes are a little tight but that was after an hour of scraping the old insole off and shaving down the new one to fit properly.

When I placed my order I was very leery of what I might be getting for under $60.00. I had been paying over $100.00 for the same type of boot. Good looking boot, but...
These boots look really good and they fit well and were relatively comfortable as far as boots go. However, the first time I wore them out, they got really scuffed up and a small piece of leather near one of the toes came off, so now they don't look so great. Whether this is because of the construction or because I wasn't careful enough wearing them, I don't know.

Eye catching -
A unique looking boot that's also fairly comfortable. It narrows fairly quickly in the front, so it can get tight, but isn't terribly uncomfortable. However, because it's a zip up, you do need to make a bit of a tradeoff to ensure that you have enough tightness around your heel and ankle so you're not tripping over yourself. Overall, I love it - a great looking shoe at a great price.

Wow! I needed these shoes for an Elvis Act I was going to do with my black jumpsuit, they looked great together. I was kinda worried they would not get here in time, but they came the next day how cool is that?

The boot looks very comfortable but in all reality it is not. The leather has cracked after only a few times of wearing the product. The souls of the shoe are EXTREMLY slippery when encountering stairs. Over all I am not really satisfied with this type of boot. The shoe appeared to be the correct size but was extremely tight in width.

Ordered a 1/2 size larger as recommended. Foot fit fine a little loose around the ankle. Placed a gel cushion and it snugged it up well. They look too good for casual.

Added Insoles Help -
I've had these boots for a couple of months now and I love 'em! I did add padded insoles which helped lessen the effect of the flat, hard factory insole that caused some fatigue when wearing them for extended periods. Very cool boots!

Stylish but not for Everyday -
The other reviewers are correct: buy this shoe a bit larger than normal and you will be happy you did.
The toe is a bit more pointed than expected, yes. But it is not worse than most of the cowboy boots I see around here, and is far more dressy.
Be aware that the sole has little texturing for grip, and relies mostly on how soft the sole is. Sand easily gets ground into the sole without much effort.
Also, due to the higher heel than more common shoes, this will work out some muscles and tendons that you might not be accustomed to using every day.

Looks great with Jeans or dressed up. Runs small and has little arch support. So suggest going a 1/2 size larger and getting after market arch supports for better comfort.

Flamenco dancers delight -
I bought two pairs of these boots for two no-dance-experience high school boys learning to dance flamenco. They like them very much. I have heard no complaints, even though these boys have never tried to even walk in a shoe with such a high heel. What they've done for their self-esteem!

The photos do not do justice to the beauty of this boot. They are a bit snug, but my feet feel great in them and the pointed toe that other reviewers have noted is really sexy.

Great Boot!
This is a great boot. I wish it came in brown and burgundy. I have worn Giorgio Brutini shoes since the 80's. Their shoes and boots have always been stylish. In fact I still have an old pair of patent leather shoes and a pair of demi boots from the 80's. I have received a lot of compliments on these boots.

Go Larger -
After reading other reviews on this boot I ordered a half a size larger than I usually do. It fit well so I'm glad I ordered a half size larger. The side zippers at times are hard to zip up. Over all this is a good looking well made boot. For the money it's really good.

For the price this boot is great, looks like a high dollar boot, feels good, and I have gotten only compliments from wearing them. They are very narrow but after wearing them a few days the stretch out like any other shoe. I would buy a half size larger if you want to have more room. Overall this is a great shoe and I plan on buying more in diff colors.
