These are a great pair of socks to run in. They are overall a thin sock with moderate cushioning in the heels and toes. Compression spots where the foot needs it and it wicks moisture away. Top part of sock, where logo is, is somewhat tight. (I have a higher arch which could contribute to the tightness in this area.) They hold up well through laundering. I still have my first pair purchased over 5 years ago and structurally they are very much intact. I highly recommend them for runners, low or high mileage.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Hera sock claims to be comparable- not so.

Really nice running socks, they are breathable, light weight, do not bunch up in your shoes or beneath the tongue; however, I gave these socks 4 stars overall due to the price. I also purchased the Hera socks and feel they are just as good as the Kayano socks; I couldn't tell the difference between the two and the Hera socks are much cheaper.

ASICS Low-cut socks -
Very comfortable and they stay put during work out. The socks are labeled L and R because of the extra cushion for the ball of the foot.

Perfect pair -
These really do work perfectly with the Asics Kayano sneaker. They prevent the rubbing that happens when your sock drops too low on your Achilles tendon.

ASICS Kayano - low cut socks -
Bought the socks from Zappos (as usual great service) and when I opened them I thought they looked great. Once I had them on my feet they felt great. The anatomical correctness makes them very snug and comfortable to wear. Recommended.

I was a little concerned about the thickness after I first opened the package, but my concerns were eliminated after wearing the socks. The cushioning and support are great, well worth the cost.

ASICS'S KAYANO LOW CUT SOCKS -
I have worn these socks in the past for golf and find them to be the most comfortable socks ever and fit perfectly, do not bulk up in your golf shoe and "wick" nicely. Best sock ever!

O.K., but not worth the price...
My feet are size 4.5 so normally I have to buy kids' size socks. I was happy to find these on Zappos which I thought would be great for high impact aerobics. I couldn't tell the difference between them and regular socks though. That could possibly be because I have great aerobics shoes that are already well-cushioned. I don't think they are worth the extra money. I'm glad I have them though- sure any extra padding will be good to save me from sore feet and injury even if I can't tell the difference in feel.

Ahhhhh!
Since these sell out, I was reluctant to give a review. That was because I wanted more for myself. I decided naa. They really do make a difference just like they say they will. If you have difficulties with your feet, buy them. You will not be disappointed. But if you are that one in a million Zappos always makes it right!!
