Awesome boots!!!
I bought a pair of these to replace my favorite Merrell boots. I was used to lighter boots but started getting sore heel bones with a 47 pound pack. These boots require a longer break in period and you should wear a good quality liner sock and mid to heavy hiking sock. I just completed a hike from Front Royal, Va. to the Pennsylvania border in 5 days (100 miles) and had two small blisters that caused no issues. One was on the heel and one on the toe. These boots are fantastic!!!! I had no other discomfort at all!!!!!! Great support in the rocks, too! If you need to haul a big pack these are the boots to do it... I really like the one pull lacing with the pulley system...

Fits like a glove -
I really liked these shoes. I tried on every pair of backpacking boots and this is the only one that fit. I returned the Montrail’s I got although they were a good boot; they just didn't fit right. But these shoes are really nice. My left foot is a half size bigger than my right so I have to fit the bigger foot. With these fitting so perfectly, my right foot doesn't even notice that the shoe is a half-size too big. Their pulley lace system is a dream, they lace on the bottom just right. I'm finally happy to have a boot that fits just right.

I ordered these same shoes in the wrong size from a different website and it took 7 days to get to me. I don't mind how long items take to ship to me, but I never expected to get my shoes the very next day! They are also PERFECT. I really appreciate how carefully shipped they were. I also used the Live Chat feature you have on the website to ask a question about my shoes; that was great! Being able to easily contact someone so conveniently and so quickly also impressed me! I wish I remembered the name of the girl who had helped me...It was May 14th around 3pm to 4pm. She was a great help and answered my question right away. I never expected such great service! I'm very very impressed with the speed, efficiency, the availability of sizes, and all the great customer service! I will definitely be back and I will definitely recommend Zappos.com to my friends and family as well. Thank you so much!
