I love these boots, and I get compliments on them all the time. The Negative Heel Technology takes some getting used to. These are comfortable, warm, and stylish boots. I just wish they were waterproof.

I am so pleased with these boots. I am a dancer with perpetually tightened calf muscles, and the Earth heel technology helps keep my calf muscles more limber. I can feel the difference all the way up into my hips. The boots feel warm, true to width or slightly wide and true to size. They're even very stylish, compared to some of the other Earth styles--they remind me of the tribal Mongolian look that Galliano was walking down the runway this spring ;-) I like these boots so much I'm almost sad that winter won't be back for another six or seven months!

I'm extremely happy with these boots. They are comfortable, warm and very cute. They are also excellent to walk in. I wore them last night and even though the temperature was 15 degrees below zero outside, my feet were warm and toasty with just regular socks.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Uggs received these boots as a Christmas present from my husband. They are so warm and comfy. I actually loved them so much I went ahead and also ordered the Uggs slippers. I did down size and they fit perfect. Zappos are great to deal with, hubby ordered them one day and received them the next way to go Zappos!

FUN - STYLE-WARMTH!
I have always wanted a pair of boots like this and they were worth waiting for! The height keeps your legs supper warm, there is plenty of room for your toes to wiggle and be comfortable, and they are super cool!! The first time I put them on a group of friends said "oooh they are cool!" Plus they are comfortable and easy to walk in, which is not always easy to find. I usually wear an 8.5 and it fits me fine, but I like a little room for my toes. I could probably have gotten an 8 for a more snug fit. You do need to get used to the weird lower heel - it is weird at first but after 3 min of walking I did not even notice anymore. They are worth every penny!

Looked a long time for boots to match my coat. This was the only one I could find. Very pleased with the boots and the service. Delivery was very fast. Ordered when it snowed and the snow was still on the ground when they arrived.

Great boots -
I just got these boots and really love them. I initially ordered a half size up, but they were too big, so returned and got the size that is my normal size and they fit well. They are a bit snug to get on, but once on my feet, they are very comfortable and warm. I love the look, very wintry. I worried that the earth technology would be hard to get used to, but I don't even notice it, so it is an added bonus. I recommend these boots !

Too big for a small girl -
I'm about 5'3", and these boots were just a little too much for my frame. I think they're adorable, but they were just too clunky and heavy for me. They fit a little wide and loose in the foot and ankle, which made me feel pretty clumsy. Ended up with a different pair of slightly smaller Earth boots that I love.

Really great boots, but need some braking in.
I have had these boots for almost a month and I really love them, but they rub at the back of my ankle and can hurt like heck. I have started wearing longer, thicker socks with them and it seems to help. Once they are broken in, I think they'll be perfect. They are very water resistant and warm.

The "Earth Summit" boot is awesome. We live in Kodiak Alaska. I have never experienced winters like I have here. Coming from deep in the heart of Texas I would have never thought of buying a boot such as this. The boots are great in every aspect. Comfort, warmth, and style. Does well in the snow and slush. I did order a half size larger, only because I have to wear arch inserts, but that’s for all my shoes. Plus, I wear extra thick socks for those 17 degree mornings and those blizzards that blow through unannounced. Keep up the quality service. Zappos is my new boot and shoe store.

If you always get frustrated when you try on those really cute boots, BUT they won't fit over your calf, well, these boots DO! And they are comfortable, too! And cute! I love these boots.

I got these boots in the white, which is soooo cute and different from most boots I see. EVERYONE has Uggs on campus, and I wanted something nicer. These are it. They are super comfy (I really like the neg. heel) and very warm. I live in PA where we have had snow and ice in mid-October, and my feet were soooo cozy. I definitely recommend these and Zappos. The shipping is super fast (I got mine in 2 days!). Thanks Zappos!

This is the perfect combination of comfort, warmth, and style. It is funky and sexy with a short skirt, and hot with jeans tucked in. The laces are sturdy and the quality is great, and I can walk in them all day.

Give it a chance. I bought a size 11 (largest available) and I feel that I probably would be better with a half/whole size larger. They are extremely well made, beautiful, exceedingly warm and fuzzy, and really wide shaft so I can wear them over or under jeans despite my "athletic" calves. I'm 6' and they get up to my knees folded, they are tall shoes. My quibble is not with negative heel, which has been so good for my back, really. It's with how narrow they are at the toes. I may just have the wrong size, but I'm not sending them back.

I wanted a comfortable, warm boot to wear to football games and this one fits the bill. It fits my foot a bit funny under the ball of my foot but a pair of inserts fixed that. Otherwise, they are very comfortable and warm. I wore them to a football game in a blizzard- my feet and calves stayed toasty warm while the rest of me froze. I got a size up from my usual so I could wear thick socks and they seem to be true to size. I have plenty of room for inserts and thick socks.

I really love the boot, it’s very comfy, I didn't realize how tall they are though. I'm a pretty small person, so they go pretty high on my calf. Other than that, I think they're great.

Finally, a cute boot for larger calves!
Great look, very comfortable (especially as I have a high arch) and they're quite tall, which is great for the weather around here. I would disagree that they're heavy, but weigh what you would expect for a large functional boot with a lug sole. Best of all they fit over my 17in calves, and I can even tuck jeans in to them! Very cute, and Zappos definitely gives you the best deal and most reliable service.

Cute Eskimo shoes! Thanks to the lovely San Franciscan summers, I got to try these out a couple days ago! (It's June) And I must say I was the cutest (and warmest) little Eskimo in the city. Very comfortable – of course, being Earth shoes. Nice for people like me with large calves that zip up boots will not go over.

So far, so good.
I just got these boots after our last major snow fall. I wore them around the house for several days to break them in. After several days, they felt comfortable. To me, these boots are light for the type of boot they are. I like the height of the boots and the traction on the soles. I feel confident that they will work well for me when we next have a major snow fall.

Fantastic Boot!
These boots fit like a glove. I've got a 38" inseam (20" from floor to knee) and size 11W foot and they are tall and wide enough for me. From the first day I had the boots on, I've received a ton of compliments everywhere I go. They are perfect for our Wisconsin winters. Whenever anyone asks where I got such "cool" boots I tell them Zappos.com. I did have to wait for my size & color choice, but was notified by Zappos when they became available. Love, love, love these boots!!!

Warm and good for large calves, too.
So I have fairly thick calves (18"), but I wanted a boot that went up to my knee since I have to walk through the snow regularly. This boot fits around my calves without any problems! The tread is good though (as any boot tread, really) will not perform as well on pure ice. You'd need spikes for that, but these boots are great for ice + snow mixtures, pure snow, and even puddles - though I have tried to avoid puddles as much as possible. I think they could be warmer in the actual shoe area. The calf area is quite warm, but the shoe part is not as warm as the calf area. So I wear big wool socks with them and it works great when I'm in the extreme cold (-20 F). One thing I noticed right away is that it hurts my feet to walk in them all day, even after owning them for a while. I think the base of the foot could use with more comfort, so I bought an insert, which helps. I bought a size larger due to the comments on this board and I think it fits perfectly.
