These are great slippers but they run a size small. Instead of the size 9, I had to buy a size 10. Otherwise they are very comfortable.

These slippers are extremely comfortable and stretch to fit your feet. I have worn them for years. I found that when the manufacturing site moved, the size seemed to change. I now have to order two sizes smaller to get a good fit. The shoes will be tight at first (I wear a D width) but because they are deer skin, they will stretch out to fit your feet. If you get just the right size at first, they will stretch and become too loose.

I had a pair of these slippers before and really liked them. I could not find anyone locally that carried the Evan's slippers...and discovered you had them. They fit great as they come in two widths... and most slippers don't. As a bonus, you shipped our shoes within a day ...although we didn't pay for this special service. Thanks.

Fell apart -
This is my fourth pair. The first two I wore till they wore out. The next one was constructed with man made trimming and fell apart after two months. I sent them back and Zappos was nice enough to send me a new pair. I am wearing these and after two months, they have fallen apart also. I would not get another pair. The shoe is made of soft deerskin with man made trim that falls apart. It's like paper or something. This made the slipper get bigger ad bigger.

Quality comfortable slipper.
My husband is 11EEE so his slipper needs are a challenge! This is the 2nd pair I have purchased for him and after trying several other brands; this is the only one he will wear! These slippers are very well made, good looking, and very comfortable...according to him. This product is highly recommended!

I greatly enjoyed Zappos customer service and product line. Although I wore this slipper for years, I was no longer able to find them...so I went to the website and found Zappos carried them...the size that I ordered was larger than how my old slippers were marked so I had to exchange them for a smaller size. When I exchanged the slippers, the personnel were just as friendly and helpful as when I placed the original order.

An old favorite continues to come through -
I've been wearing this model slipper for 10-15 years, at first because the scored rubber sole was useful when I lived in the country and went out to the road to fetch the morning newspaper. Now I live in the city, and I can still wear them when walking the 50 feet to the apartment development's laundry room. I've also enjoyed their simple stylishness and the soft deerskin uppers. And they're well made.

My husband has worn L B Evans's Slippers for years. These are the only ones he will wear because they fit his wide, high-arched feet perfectly and are extremely comfortable, long-wearing, very stylish and are priced right. He's a very satisfied customer and I'm delighted to find them on-line.

Even My Dad Liked Them!
I bought these slippers for my father who broke both his hips and was on the mend. He needed a wide width shoe and he absolutely loves these slippers! They have a great sole which keeps him secure when he is getting around the house.

The shoe is very satisfactory and the first really comfortable shoe I've found for my husband who is wheelchair bound. It was important to find a soft shoe that would also be strong enough to protect his feet.

Not what they appear -
These slippers are only part leather. The cording around the upper and around the sole is fabric painted to look like leather. The paint quickly wears off and the fabric quickly becomes tattered and threadbare. Not the quality slippers they were replacing!

My shoe size is 11D, so I ordered 10 1/2 figuring slippers stretch. I have previously bought three of these exact slippers over 15 years, and loved them. I can put my whole thumb in back of these slippers loosely and they flop when I walk.

Great gift for my father -
I got these for my father for Christmas and he really loves them. My father is 83, so I wanted something with traction of the bottom and something that he could wear every season, (ie. lambswool lined slippers would not be good for the summer months.) He really loves his slippers and was pleased that I found them in the wide size, something that was not possible at Norstrom, who only carries the slippers in regular widths.

Great house shoes -
I like these house shoes so much that I have been getting a new pair of them every year for Christmas for about the last 6 years. I simply don't want any other kind. I learned several years ago that they tend to run about a half size larger than marked, so I just order a 10 rather than a 10 1/2. Zappos' service was excellent.

A quality, comfortable slipper -
I need a slipper that is comfortable, attractive and can be worn outside, while taking the dog out, etc. In addition, I need an unusual size (8 EEE). These Deerking slippers fit the bill in every regard.

Beware! This is not the slipper it used to be!
I've had a pair of these slippers for ten years, and I love them. When the soles wore out, I purchased a new pair from Nordstrom's, and, within a week, the slippers started to fall apart; peeling at the trim, separating the sole from the upper. Nordstrom's took them back without question, and the salesman gave me the following information:
First, as I suspected, the leather trim, which lasted on mine for ten years, had been replaced with plastic —hence, the disintegration I noticed on my new pair.
Second, production has shifted from the U.S. to China, and quality control has slipped to the point where Nordstrom's received many pair of LB Evans shoes which were literally falling apart in the box.
Third, there were so many complaints that Nordstrom's people were considering making their own version of this slipper which conformed to the prior quality.
Lastly, of course, LB Evans was purchased by another company which was more interested in cutting costs than in a quality product.
Bottom line: I'm getting my old ones re-soled, and will never purchase a product with the LB Evans label. Buyer beware!

The only slipper for the successful man!
I bought my first pair of Evans slippers 10 years ago at Macy's. The next time I needed to replace them, they were out of my size. In fact, they didn't have any in the store. So I bought other types, but was never happy with any other types. Then today I started to search and, lo and behold, the first thing I saw was this wonderful web site. Now my concern is the correct size. I'm not a brand type of person but I never forgot the Evans name. They make me think of the good shoes made by Rockport people.

Only the best.
I've owned two pairs of these slippers over the past 25 years. They wear fantastic and last a very long time, even with extreme usage. When I say this, I'm not kidding. I did an extensive remodel of my home's interior over the course of six years and almost exclusively wore this model slipper. My pair of slippers endured the entire exercise. Pretty beat up, but still wearable.

The Deer KING.
In 1954 my dad died and I inherited his old DeerKing slippers. He only wore them indoors and they were like new when I got them. I've worn them indoors and outdoors, winter/summer in New England for the last 46 years. They're still quite serviceable, but cosmetically a bit worn looking.
So I'm about to order my own pair now. They're the absolute best!
