Zappos is one of those rare companies who give you more for your money. I had a size issue with shoes I purchased for my wife (twice). Zappos not only readily accepted the original shoes, but they upgraded the shipping on the replacements (twice). I love these guys.

I have always had foot pain, especially in my heels. I started wearing Dansko's about 8 years ago. The only style I have had trouble with is the Professional. I have a high arch and they hurt across the top. The Ingrid does not, it is VERY comfortable. I love the look and the comfort!

I work 12 hour shifts in an ER. These shoes are pretty good, but take some getting used to after wearing crocs. The Danskos have excellent support and my feet feel fine as do my legs after running around for a shift. No break in period required. I do wish there was more cushioning, as they are quite stiff. I tend to leave them at work because I have a hill to climb from the parking lot, and they are slippery. For the money I hope they last at least 1-2 years. I am an 11 and bought a 43 (11 1/2 to 12) and they JUST fit so order up.

Christmas Gift a Success!
My girlfriend teaches classes, in medical lab. She is on her feet for approx. 10 hrs. out of a 13 hr. day. She has 2 bad knees and an increasingly bad hip which is why I chose the Danskos. She is extremely happy w/the comfort and relief that these shoes have given her. I would definitely purchase another pair. Well worth the investment.

Comfortable, but need breaking in.
I have a wide foot and needed to go up a size. I already have a pair and they are well broken in, so I know once the new shoe is broken in they will be great.

Very comfortable - order a size up.
I usually wear a size 8-8.5, so I ordered the 39. Unfortunately, they were too small and my foot hung over the end. I was worried that the 40 would be too big, but ordered them anyway since Zappos’ return policy is so great. Thanks to Zappos amazing customer service, I had a new pair in 24 hours and the size 40 is a perfect fit! I just received these shoes and am wearing them for the first time. They take a little getting used to, but my feet feel great.

Foot saver -
Being a nurse, I stay on my feet over 10 hours a day. Before purchasing the Dansko Ingrid's I wore New Balance because that was what was recommended by my fellow nurses, however after working a shift my legs and knees hurt so bad from tendonitis that it was becoming unbearable. A physician suggested that I give the Dansko a try because of the additional support it offers. I noticed a major difference after the first shift. If you are on your feet for long periods of time, the Dansko shoe more than pays for itself in comfort. These are the only shoes I will work in now. They are great!!

Nurses Rock and They Deserve the Best!
These shoes are great! Several people in my class have the exact same shoes. They are so comfort and make nursing school fun!

I had ordered the Dansko Ingrid, and these shoes are just like my old pair. The shoes are wonderful and very comfortable. Dansko is my only choice for comfort and support. Working in a medical office, I am on my feet all day and running around. At the end of the day my feet don’t hurt. Your company is excellent, the only way to buy shoes!! Loved this shoe -
I am a clinical instructor and wore this shoe in a rotation where I had to keep up with 10 students half my age. My feet were happy from day one. I have wide feet and these shoes needed very little break in time. I sized up a full size and am glad I did, to size down would never have worked for me.

Like all of Dansko’s they are the most comfortable shoes! I am a runner and I have FINALLY after 4 years overcome shin splints. I wear Dansko all the time because they are kind to your feet and legs. :) That says a lot when have you suffered thru the wrong shoes which makes shin splints worse. Thanks Zappos and Dansko. You always make this mom, nurse and runner happy!

GREAT SHOE, TOO SMALL -
ZAPPOS IS GREAT. Only ONE problem with this shoe RUNS SMALL!!! I am a size 8 and my heel was hanging over the back.
Needed a half size larger, but they don’t have them.

Pleasantly surprised -
I rarely order from the internet. I have never ordered shoes before because the sizing is always so "iffy". However, none of the stores in my area carried this style, so I reluctantly went to the internet and ordered them. To my surprise, the shoes arrived before I thought they might; they were in perfect condition and fit like they had been made just for me. I love Dansko shoes because they were instrumental in taking away all my foot aches and pains. Now, I will order from the internet without hesitation. Thanks Zappos!

I am on my feet for 12hrs. After my shift I have noticed that my feet and legs do not hurt. Nor do I have any swelling. I love my shoes. One suggestion I have is that the shoes be made with may be an extra inch in the toe area. If don't have short toes your toes tend to be a little cramped.

Thank you for offering so many shoes. I have passed on your site to quite a few others. The suggestion to buy a size smaller was correct. Also stating in your site that some styles fit like a clog not a shoe was also correct and made me understand why another shoe I bought fit like it did and now I m happy with them.

The shoe is exactly as I expected. It is totally different from what I am used to. I wanted a clog with a strap for work thinking I could easily slip it on and off since I work a 12 hour night. It fits well. I am having a hard time getting used to it, but I am determined to make it work so I continue to wear it temporarily at home.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Ecco, Joseph Seibel or SoftWalk are my absolute favorites though none are like this.

Best work shoes ever!!
I've heard great things about Dansko clogs, but I thought they were a little too expensive on my budget. When two of my co-workers bought a pair and kept raving about them, I decided to invest in them and found these on Zappos. The first day I wore them at work, I was worried I would get blisters breaking-in a new pair of shoes, but to my surprise and delight, these clogs were so comfortable. The best thing I loved about them the first time I wore them was the great arch support they gave. I have flat feet and these clogs have the arch support I need being on my feet all day at work. They also keep my feet cool and even with thin or thick socks, they still feel great =).

I work 12 hr shifts in a busy hospital and made the mistake of wearing these ALL day the first day. My left arch was very bruised feeling, almost immediately and on and off most of the day. (almost like the arch was too high!) Still.. I went and wore them again the next day, and putting my foot into that shoe was a little tender. However, after about two hours of wearing them on the second day, I found that the bruised feeling was completely gone! I have worn them daily ever since, and they are very comfortable.

Had to return this shoe. I wear a ladies size 11. My toes felt squished by this shoe and my heel hung over the back of one of the shoes. I would have ordered the next size up, but 42 is the largest that they make this one in.

Don't go down a size! I wear a ladies size 11 shoe. Their chart says that an 11 is a 41. Well, I went with 42 (Dansko "12") because that's what I wear in a Birkenstock, and my left foot hangs over the back of the shoe.
