If only they felt as good as they look!!
These shoes look fantastic! But unfortunately they don't live up to their looks. They were tight fitting, and they make my feet sweat. They have a really high instep which would definitely be a problem for people with 'arch issues'. When I walk my heel always slips out of the back because it's rather low-rise. I can't help but compare them to Keens which are just a much more comfortable shoe to wear....I just love the look of J-41s and would buy several pairs, if only they fit better and were more breathable. :(

Strange fit -
I love the look of these shoes, but they fit really strange. The heel does not fit onto your foot al all. It’s too low and wide. They do not conform to your feet. Too bad cause they are so cute!

Wide heel -
Strange fit on these J-41s. It is a shame b/c they look so great on like a cross between Merrells and Keens. However, if you look at the top of this shoe, the heel is almost as wide as the ball of the shoe; they make no allowance for the fact that your heel is narrower. Strange. It is a shame because they look like they'd be really comfortable but they aren't. They are hard to break in and leave blisters (both pairs of J-41 I tried were like this).

I love these shoes!
ok, so these shoes are simply amazing. I am super picky and I was looking for a shoe that would go with most of my (very colorful) wardrobe, pants skirts, shorts, capris, everything. They look awesome with everything. Also, I am a college student, so I walk everywhere - these hold up so well and are completely comfortable. I usually wear an 8 or 8.5, and the 8.5 fit perfectly. I have been wearing them without socks, but when really cold weather strikes, warm wool socks look good underneith too. I just can't say enough about J-41's. this is my second pair - i have a hiking shoe too - and both are wonderful, comfort and quality. oh and REALLY REALLY CUTE shoes!

I decided to order a half size up and am glad I did - they fit perfectly and feel great! Really cute on and very versatile, I am more than satisfied.

Stylish...casual -
They are truly stylish, very casual. I do not have "problem feet" but was concerned after the first few hours in these shoes. I could feel the lining trying to blister my little toe... the shoes are lined with a nylon mesh material which does not feel soft. HOWEVER... after that first day, never again a problem. The bottom of the shoe is molded unusually but I am now used to it. The one thing I do not like about these shoes is that they feel HOT immediately (probably because you feet are surrounded by rubber and other synthetic materials). These shoes do not breathe whatsoever! I've never had a problem with this, but wonder if these shoes will not last because of this... I can see them getting a little stinky pretty quick. I usually wear a 6 1/2-7 and I just barely fit in the 7 - so the shoe runs a little small. Overall, I really like these shoes and have been wearing them frequently.

X-tremely comfy, really cute & great for everyday wear -
After reading the reviews on this shoe, I was in a quandary as to which size I should order. I normally wear a size 7, but to be more accurate I'd be closer to a 6.5/7 rather than a 7/7.5 -- I ended up purchasing a size 7 and it fit perfectly. I plan on wearing mine with either no socks or a very thin sock liner. I was a bit concerned about the initial rubbing on the sides of the widest part of my foot. . . but a couple days of breaking them in around the house and it's no longer an issue. These shoes are so cute with knee-length shorts, capris or even a mini skirt. Zappos price-matched this shoe to another website and I saved a ton of money -- why shop anywhere else?

Love These -
I absolutely Looove these shoes. First of all they are absolutely darling... many, many compliments whenever I have worn them. Second, they go with just about everything except a formal outfit. Third, and probably most important they are like wearing butter on my feet! I own a pair of Keen's that I wear often and love their amazing comfort but these are even more comfortable. I recommend these shoes to everyone!

Very uncomfortable first few times I wore them. Got blisters on my little toes. Can’t wear them without socks because they rub, and they feel tight. Got better after wearing a few times. Like the look though

If you have a high instep!!
This shoe looks great, but if you have a high instep, that strap will really cut into your foot--even though it's adjustable. Feet sweat like crazy in these and don't wick moisture. Mesh isn't breathable because it has a solid lining on the inside of the shoe. Very disappointed cause they look so COOL! Also very rough feeling inside on bare feet. Order at least a half size larger--run small. Good for wider feet.

I was looking for something light colored for summer and found these. Not as comfortable as my Keen’s; okay for light wear, not for work.

Chuffed to bits. Slip them on and it's like putting your feet in marshmallows/smores. These babies have it all although they are slightly chunkier on the toe than I imagined. I did order a full size larger after reading the reviews but disappointed to find they looked like boats so had to exchange them. A little low on the heel but as with all things it just takes a little time getting used to the feel. Seriously Funky Feet!!

Pair them with almost anything!
I think these shoes are comfy, easy to slip on, and worth the money. The first time I wore the shoes, I realized that I should have worn some thin liner socks. If your feet sweat like mine, you'll need to "protect" your feet the first few times you wear them so that you don't get chaffed. Now that I've worn them a while, the shoes feel fine against my bare feet.

Just got the shoes and they are absolutely adorable! I love the look, but they do slip a little in the heel since they are so low in the back. Other than that, they are comfortable and great looking.

Love these shoes!
If you like sporty/fashion/comfort shoes, get these. I bought them for a trip to Florida and wore them all the time... great for travel because you easily kick them off for security and on the plane. Make sure to get a FULL size larger than your usual size. They run small.

Like them-
I like these shoes but don’t love them. They are super cute!!!! But do run a little small. They walk a little funny in the beginning but I got used it and it does not bother me any more. I recommend them because they are just so darn cute!!!!
