I got these for my son for Christmas and they fit perfectly! He is a size 13 and I was a bit worried about the width, but just go with the description on narrow vs. medium and you will have a perfect fit. Very quick delivery and packaged well, thanks so much!

Great clog!
Classic, comfortable, quality...You have to do a little guess work with the sizing, but it worked out...I think they run wide so I ordered the narrow (I am not normally a narrow) and they fit very well. The best thing is that I ordered them in the evening and they were on my porch the next afternoon!! Super quick. Zappos is great!

There’s not much to say that hasn't already been said. These are excellent shoes. I do notice I have to work a little harder to keep them on my feet than with open toe Birkenstock styles. The soft footbed is really, really nice and the fact that they come in narrow is great.

Birkenstocks For My Teenagers -
My oldest daughter has worn out two pairs of Birks in college. Hers were not the soft bed and I hadn't paid attention that I had ordered the soft bed style for my other son and daughter. They felt so good and required less "breaking in" time. Now my oldest daughter wants a pair of the soft beds! I have also gone through 3 pairs since becoming a mom 21 years ago! These shoes last a long time and are great for standing and being on your feet a lot, which I am as a Kindergarten teacher! Don't bother with knock-off brands and styles - they don't come anywhere close to the true Birkenstock!

No break-in period -
This is my first pair of soft footbed Birkenstocks and they're comfortable. They really aren't that different than the regular footbed, in my opinion.
I've been buying Birkenstocks for years and have noticed that the sizing seems to be smaller than my earlier pairs.

I ordered the 40/Regular as I was planning to wear thick socks and my feet are on the wider side of regular. But even with my thick socks, I was swimming in these shoes. Will re-order in 40/narrow.

Great clog!
Bought these for myself and loved them so much that I got a pair for my fiance. He loves them too, but is getting a little self-conscience that he doesn't see as many guys wearing them! We bought the soft footbed, and I don't think the arch support is as good on these, but they are incredibly comfortable. I don't walk extensively in them since my foot tends to slip out every once in a while. They run about a 1/2 size too small.

I'm a hero -
My daughter has a size 11/W foot. Needless to say, finding shoes at the shoe store is next to impossible. ZAPPOS to the rescue. We have ordered several times. She loves her new Birkenstocks. They were a hit when she unwrapped them Christmas morning and I was her hero.

Great Birkenstock Clog!!
I have never been able to wear the Birk clogs because I have a narrow foot, but because Zappos offers the narrow - now I can wear them!!! These are soft in the toe area, and I need that for ingrown toe nail, and they fit well enough since they are narrow! Thanks Zappos!!

Boston Soft footbed -
This is the third pair that I have ordered. The first one was for me, then my granddaughter and my daughter. The soft footbed is so comfortable that I didn't have any break in time. These shoes look good and the only word I can think of to describe them is... wonderful. Quality is great.

Best Shoe Ever -
I purchased this shoe from Zappos.com and received it the next day. I have a foot disorder called brachymetatarsia. This is the best shoe I have ever put on my foot. No break in time needed and the cushion is superb. I would recommend this shoe to anyone who has to be on their feet all day and it looks good too. I'm going to order another pair today.

Can't beat Birks!
Although Birkenstocks are not the prettiest shoes, they are the best! These are very easy to wear right away, although, there is a little break in period. I expected the footbed to be softer than it is, but it's still very comfortable. I have plantar fasciitis and these work just fine!

Ugly, but great on the feet!
I ordered these Birks for a house slipper. My home is a nice size with tile and wood floors. My feet and legs would get sore from just walking and standing on my floors with regular slippers. These Birks have saved my feet! I ordered the narrow and I still have to wear socks with them due to the width. I did have to send the size 6 back and order a 5-1/2, but it was worth it.

Great for plantar fasciitis -
These shoes have been great for my aching heel (from plantar fasciitis). I couldn't believe the difference they made--this shoe really does cradle and support that heel, with excellent arch support to further promote healing. I wear my Boston’s to work, and have a pair of Arizona sandals that I slip into at home. I prefer the sandals because I can tighten both straps for a more secure feel, but the Boston clogs are great for fall/winter wear.

Love this shoe!
The soft foot bed can't be beat in terms of comfort! I wear a size 7 and have a skinny foot. I ordered this Birk in size 6 reg and it fits great! I wear socks with them which is why I ordered the regular and I have no trouble with it being too wide. It's a Birk, so that is the "style", it's not high fashion, it's definitely a casual shoe. I wear this with jeans and khaki's. I would rather wear these than go barefoot which shows how truly comfortable they are! I definitely recommend!

My first Birkenstocks -
I have flat feet and have had to wear orthodic inserts in most shoes for the past ten years or so. I recently picked up a second job for the holidays that requires me to be on my feet for 8 - 10 hours at a time. My feet were BURNING afterwards ... so I looked to Zappos for a solution.
I had to return my first order because it was too loose in the regular size. I reordered the narrow. My first thought was "if this is the soft foot bed, I'm glad I didn't start out with the normal bed!!" It took a few days for my feet to learn to walk comfortably in these shoes ... now I can't live without them! I would recommend to newbies like myself to commit to wearing them regularly for a few days at the outset, as much to break in your feet as to break in these shoes.
My feet are still sore after a ten-hour stretch of both standing and running around, but it's exponentially better than previously. No more cramping and no more burning sensation. I am contemplating buying these for my brother, who suffers from painful plantar fasciitis. The arch support is excellent and I'm grateful for these shoes.
I only wish they also offered these in the smooth (non-suede) leather finishes. I'll be considering buying some of the more shoe-ish looking Birks categorized as mens shoes as well for work purposes.

Comfortable, but wider than I expected -
Generally I wear I wide shoe, but this was a little wider than I expected. They are extremely comfortable which is what I wanted.

I have owned these shoes off and on for about 17 years. Never thought they were the most attractive shoe in the world, but they are such comfortable "throw on" shoes. Plus they are cool - not sure why, but they are. I have actually noticed all the high school kids wear them now!

Really like this shoe -
Great casual shoes. I need to wear socks with them because they're a little loose, but a smaller size would be too tight. The insole is comfortable, arch support is almost too good. The negative heel took some getting used to - at first I could only wear them for a few hours at a time, or I'd get leg cramps at night. But now I can wear them most of the day. I wear them every day, shopping and errands, etc., notice more people wearing them too. Will probably try some Birk sandals next summer.

Boston Soft Footbed ROCKS -
I have not taken off these shoes since I bought them, except when I have meetings for work. I loved my Birk Arizona classic footbed, but this soft footbed makes an awesome supportive shoe totally perfect. LOVE THEM.
