Though it may take you a couple wearings to get accustomed to the unique footbed, this will become an exceedingly comfortable shoe. I think the styling of the leather is also very attractive. I had worn a pair of Seibels about ten years ago, and had worn Danskos pretty much ever since. I wanted something a little different, and I would highly recommend this shoe.

I wasn't so sure about the price at first, but I really got what I paid for. These shoes are really comfortable, they go with my work clothes and jeans, and I get compliments on them all the time. You can really feel the bumps in the shoe, which isn't a bad thing, but I had to get used to it. I love the way the strap crosses over to the outside of the shoe. I have high arches and the option to make the strap more snug has resulted in really good support.

Quality of the shoes are very nice, but when I walk, they squeak and I didn’t know this until I went shopping and walked on tile. At home on rugs, they were fine, but they really squeak when I walk on hard surfaces... so not all that happy.

Nice looking shoe -
I have other Seibel shoes and ordered the same size, but this shoe was almost a full size too small. I like the look of the shoe, but not sure about the comfort. There doesn't seem to be much cushion or support.

These may not be the most stylish shoes, but they are incredibly comfortable! Any shoe that has an adjustable tab or strap is a plus. Great for walking all day at home or traveling. Very handy at airports when you have to remove your shoes. Toe box size is just right - not cramped and not too big.

Very disappointed! The leather was very stiff and uncomfortable. There is a built in arch support that is way too high for my semi-flat feet. The way it is constructed means that even if you remove the insole, the shoe does not accommodate an orthotic. The shoes made my large (42) feet look like boats. Overall, these were the worst Josef Seibel shoes I have ever tried on and I had to send them back. I was very sad since I have generally had very good luck with this brand.

A little mannish looking -
Overall this shoe serves the purpose for which it was purchased, i.e., European walking tours. However, for the price, the leather could be a little better quality. Overall I would recommend it.

I just ordered the Uggs Classic Tall boots in Chocolate yesterday afternoon and they were on my porch TODAY when I got home from work! The service with Zappos is incredible. I have ordered Uggs for my daughter for the last few years but never succumbed for myself. Well I wore an old pair of hers this weekend and my forever cold feet were so toasty! That sold me right then and there. I told my husband I wanted a pair for Christmas. Can't wait till Christmas morning, I have a feeling these will have to be surgically removed from my feet. I may never take them off.

Not as good as I anticipated -
From the great reviews these shoes received, I expected more comfort. Although they are the right size, they don't feel cushioned and put pressure on my toes to the point that they "go to sleep". I kept them and am hoping they break in and will eventually be as good as the other reviewers claim. Next time I'll go back to Naot.

Love these shoes -
I had very good luck with a pair of Seibel clogs and was anxious to try another pair. These shoes are very comfortable and great to look at. I normally wear a size 9 but had to order a European size 41 - the size 40s were too small.

Didn't realize I had my shoes on -
These are great... comfy, adjustable, sleek looking. Great for any casual look. Quick to put on and a quality fitting shoe! Not masculine at all, which was my concern. The adjustable piece will be helpful when cold weather comes and thicker socks!!

A no nonsense shoe -
Better than a shoe but nothing like a boot. Very protective. Rubber sole repels puddles and cushions rocky terrain. Room for fluffy socks and still looks good with tweedy slacks, jeans or cords.

I Love these shoes - I stand on my feet all day for eight hours. By the end of the day my feet and legs really hurt. I haven't had any more trouble since I got these shoes. They are great.

I love the design of this shoe. However, it's not as comfortable as it is attractive. It's the second pair I've purchased and I have the same issue with both -- they seem a little narrow in the toe area. To be fair, my right foot is slightly larger than the left and this is the shoe I am having the problem with. This could be due to European sizing but I all of my other shoes are Born and this hasn't been a problem.

Most Comfortable Shoe!
This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. It fits my narrow heels well, yet is still very roomy in the toe box. I bought 2 pairs!

If you walk a lot, this is your shoe.
Exceptional shoe. I have been able to wear it for a full day of walking since the first day. No "break in" time. I love the adjustability of the velcro closure.

Great Walking Shoe -
I bought these shoes in black, and wore them straight out of the box on city sidewalks all the next day, with no problems. They are comfortable, lightweight, and look great. The shoes have a distinctive look, easily recognizable by a Josef Seibel fancier. I liked the black ones so much I bought a pair in brown, and they have been just as good a choice. The little bumps on the footbed provide a massaging action. I recommend these shoes highly.

Not what I was hoping for...
First let me say that I love Seibel shoes and I expected to receive a 'comfort shoe' however, the fit of this shoe is different from the other shoes in the brand. This shoe has an airbed sole, which I found to be completely different from the typical European comfort Shoes. The airbed felt flat to me but I'm sure that if I had worn the shoe for a bit longer, then the sole would have molded. Another thing is that my feet felt 'squished' vertically by this shoe. It’s like the toe area isn't tall enough. I don't know... this shoe just didn't do it for me. I had to return them even though I really really liked the style.

I wear a 9-1/2 to a 10 & so I originally ordered the size 40, which ended up being too short. I exchanged them for 41's which worked out. The more I wore them, the more they began to feel like a comfortable pair of slippers.

I bought these shoes for my trip to Europe. They feel like marshmallows on my feet. I really don’t think I'll need to break them in. The brown is a nice color... I took a size larger than I normally do in this brand.

Not this time.............
Seibel shoes are my very favorite brand. But this one was not true to size and the shoe actually sat on top of my foot, as if vertically it was not tall enough. Had to send it back for the next size which then required a thick sock to make it work. Of all my Seibel's (I have a lot) this is my least favorite fitting...BUT the look is great and the on/off for airport was splendid.
