Awesome Shoes!
I have had two previous pairs of ECCO Track II Low and will continue to purchase this shoe for years to come. They are comfortable, warm, and last several years of daily use. I also like them because they are nice enough to wear business casual with chinos. ECCO shoes are the best.

Ecco Track II Low -
My husband needed a pair of shoes that he could wear while visiting the northeast this winter. These are perfect for him. He particularly likes the lightness of weight on his feet. They look a lot heavier than they actually are. He is also pleased with the comfort of the foot pad.

Comfort for winter - I have had quite a few pairs of Eccos over the years. The Track IIs are right up there with the best of the brand's shoes. They are comfortable and do not require a breaking in. In the cold weather they will keep my feet warm and dry. They do everything I expect of them.

Classic -
These are my favorite shoe. Do they pinch a bit when breaking in? Yes. Does the sole fall apart with heavy use, after too little time? Yes.
Yet, these are the ultimate shoes. They look good at work, on the trail, in the mall, anywhere. They are waterproof and supremely comfortable (after the break-in period). I've owned four pairs over the years, and they tend to last anywhere from one to five years each, depending on how much use they get. Once you own these, you won't want to wear anything else.

Fantastic Shoe -
This is my second pair of this shoe. My first pair lasted 7 years with almost daily use. I wear out soles of all my shoes in the middle part of the front of the sole behind my toes. These held up for all 7 years. All this with the best traction of any shoe I have ever had. I can't believe it. No other shoe has ever done this. I wear them on the street and in the woods. The bison leather part of the shoe still was not worn out. I started to get a little separation of the sole from the shoe at the toe which compromised the water proof characteristic. This is not a complaint for it is amazing it took that long for even that to break down. Zappos was fantastic also. Their phone staff is energetic and is what customer service everywhere should aspire to be. They even did a complementary upgrade to my shipment. I placed my order on Tuesday afternoon and had my shoes on my door step on that Thursday.

The most comfortable work shoe I have owned -
I have bought 5 pairs of these shoes in the last 10 years. I am a pediatrician and am on my feet all day long. Other work shoes leave my feet aching at the end of a 12 hour day. I have bought other pairs of Ecco shoes that are also comfortable, but this shoe wins the prize. It is comfortable right out of the box. The shoe is neat looking enough for casual dress. The Seawalker is a little more dressy and has a similar fit. I have bought other generation Track shoes from Ecco - they also have similar fit, but not quite as comfortable. I will continue to buy this shoe as long as Ecco makes it.

Puzzled About the Crumbling Outsole -
I have had a pair of Track IIs for a few years. They are very comfortable and fit my wide/high-instep feet well. No complaints there. A few months ago, the gum-colored outsole started to crumble and fall off. I don't work around any acids, solvents or other strong chemicals, so I don't think it was something I stepped in. The man at the shoe store said that polyurethane does that once it reaches a certain age. These are the ONLY shoes that I have ever had this problem with. Of course, they are out of warranty (1-year). I may have the soles replaced with some good Vibrams. They don't crumble.

ECCO Track II Low -
I have been a wearer of this shoe for many years. It is an outstanding shoe for all around purposes. I love the Gore-Tex waterproofing and non-slip, sure-grip, nature of the sole. I have one foot slightly longer than the other and have found that the European sizing of their shoes gives me a better fit than the American system.

Pain -
Heavy leather and stitching digs into the top and sides of the foot. Once upon a time Ecco made great shoes (e.g. 10 years ago). I love the sole on the shoe but I hate its construction. Sized up for my wide foot. That did not work either. No room for orthotics. "F"

Great Shoe - But -
Have always enjoyed the quality and durability of Ecco shoes - bought Track II Low after returning Clarks that squeaked and looked clumsy Eccos true to form are very comfortable, but who needs heavy cleated soles to carry lots of dirt into the house and who needs GoreTex for everyday use - for this price I don't think I will be walking in water with these. I bought a pair of Ecco shoes some years ago that look very similar to the Track IIs that wore like iron and were very comfortable, had smoother soles and no GoreTex - also cost less - discontinued style. These are the second pair of GoreTex shoes I have, GoreTex is vastly over-rated as far as I'm concerned.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: Don't bother with Clarks

Just what I wanted -
These shoes are what I wanted. Informal, but could wear to go out to dinner traveling, and enough of a sole to hike as well. I use an orthotic so I need more arch support than any shoe will provide

I Love These Shoes -
I've had the Ecco Track IIs for about 3 weeks and have virtually worn them every day. I did not experience any sizing issues--straight out of the box the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I have been in mud and heavy rain and have experienced no problems. I plan to buy the full boot at some point for hiking, etc. as these are more comfortable than any hiking boot I've tried. Have to put in a good word on Zappos service as well--lightning fast delivery--placed an order with another internet company the same day and Zappos arrived 3 days ahead of the other order.

Ecco is awesome!
Excellent shoe. I've been wearing ECCO for the past 4years. A little pricey, but I get a tune up to extend the life of the shoe. I have different size feet: 13 and 14. You'll need the size 48 to accommodate feet like mine. Also, they're great in the winter as they are Gore-Tex.

This is the most durable shoe Ecco makes. It is comfortable and mostly water proof. It is oil resistant and great for work or walking on or off road.

Absolutely my favorite shoes ever -
But it took me two pairs to get a left shoe as comfortable as the right. The upper tongue area of my original left shoe pinched, but the replacement shoe was as comfortable as the right shoe. I wear them everywhere and am seriously thinking of ordering a second pair.

The Comfort Was Not There -
When I ordered the Ecco Track II Lows, I had very high hopes about these shoes. When they arrived, they were anything, but comfortable. The sizing was true, but the insert/sole was very stiff and unyielding to my foot and the materials in the tongue of the shoe painfully dug into the top of my feet. I tried relaxing the shoestrings and walking awhile to break them in, but nothing worked. Otherwise the shoe was true to width and length, but sadly I have far cheaper shoes from discount stores that I do not consider comfortable, but that I would still rate above this shoe in comfort (even just comparing the inserts). Others have mentioned this model was recently updated for the worse, so I still have hopes for Ecco and will try another model before I give up.

Fifth or sixth pair of Ecco Track II.

Comfort, style, and durability -
This is my first pair of Ecco shoes and it is by far the most comfortable pair of outdoor shoes I have ever had. Initially I was concerned that the shoes would be hard to maintain in attractive condition because of having two different nubuck finishes, but after four months of wear, I have found them easy to maintain. The only negative I found was getting the right size. I used the conversion chart found online, however, the first pair was one size too large and had to be returned for the next size smaller. Will definitely buy Ecco shoes again in the future.

My 4th pair !
This is my 4th pair of these shoes, the first time in black. They are comfortable for standing and walking and do not stretch out of shape. I have a small foot - 8 1/2 and a very high arch. I have tried other brands that carry a similar type of shoe, but there is no comparison. These are the best I have found for a casual, walking type shoe.

Worth the money -
Despite my concerns (due to other's reviews), these fit me well in my normal shoe size. I wear 11.5 and was seriously considering ordering them one size large. But the 11.5s fit just fine. Other than that, probably the most solid feeling, yet comfortable shoes I've ever owned.

I have an idea to improve this shoe -
I have had the Track shoe for over 10 years (three pair) BUT, I wish they made it with a boat shoe sole. ECCO does not make a boat shoe with a boat shoe bottom. What are they thinking?
