You either love them or hate them. Before I purchase anything on Zappos I read the reviews. Well, I am here to say that I do love the Dansko Marcelle. I am a nurse like most of the owners of these shoes, and I once used very expensive running shoes with extra padding to relieve the pain I felt in my feet and legs from working 10+ hours days. I did question at first the dansko since this shoe didn't have the extra padding I thought would make this shoe my saviour. It didn't need it. I have used it now for a week and no more leg pain. Because I do care about fashion I chose this style over the professional clog, if I get another pair I think I will try those also. I also like that they clean easily; which I really like since sometime things get on our shoes we would rather not take home with us. I suggest try them, and with Zappos if you get them and they aren't for you they have the free return!

I bought these shoes from Zappos back in December 2008. I am a RN looking for shoes that will lessen the pain I have from plantar fasciitis and heel spurs in both feet. The first few months were great. I could wear these shoes and my feet did not hurt! I was impressed and excited since I have been dealing with my excruciating foot pain for two years. Then in February 2009, I began to notice my Dansko\'s not keeping my feet mostly pain free anymore and now I can only limp around at work. Here I thought I might have somewhat long term foot pain relief, at least while wearing my Dansko\'s. Now yesterday, I ordered the Skechers Shape Ups from Zappos. We\'ll see how I make out with them.

Fabulous! I absolutely love this shoe! I have already gotten so many compliments on it. It was a bit costly, but it is very durable and worth the money. I am a dental hygiene student and this is a perfect clinic shoe!

Nursing Shoes - The Dansko Marcelles are cute and stylish, I love how they fit. I work 12 hour nights and the only shoes that I have found where my feet and legs don't throb at the end of the night are the Dansko clogs. This is my second pair of Danskos, the first was the professional clog and now I bought the Marcelle for nursing school, and I like the look and feel of these just as well. Once the strap is adjusted you can slip your feet in, just like in the professional style clog. I would suggest that anyone who works on their feet or is looking for a comfortable shoe to try these. My suggestion is go try these on at a store before buying them so that you know you’re getting the right size. The European sizing sometimes fits differently than the conversion charts. But you'll get a better price buying them here than at a retail store.

I am a nurse and I bought these shoes for work. They are comfortable and cute. It is hard to be stylish when in scrubs, but these shoes make it easier. Dansko shoes are wonderful when you are on your feet all day.

I love these shoes. I am Nursing Student and needed a great shoe for my clinical rotations. I will wear these when I am a professional RN as well. (And they are super cute too)!

Ohh I Wish I Could Like This Shoe -
Apparently I am the only person in the whole world who simply cannot wear Dansko’s - and oh how I have tried! Every time I find them uncomfortable and flat and too floppy. I think they are engineered this way and I am just expecting a fit that Dansko’s weren't intended to give. It would probably help if they made them in a few bigger sizes since I have long, narrow feet (12's). I've had to return this shoe and every other Dansko I've ordered...but I think it's just me and their reputation speaks for itself.

Sole Hardness - No Forgiveness -
The shoe fits great, but the sole has no built in cushion thus no forgiveness. I've tried wearing them for a week and my feet are really tired and hurting at the end of my 8 hour shift. For all the great reviews, I was very disappointed in how these shoes worked for me.

The Best Work Shoe Ever -
As a nurse, on my feet all day, these shoes are definitely worth the money. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn as well as professional looking.

Cute nursing shoe -
I wear a 7.5 and have a wide foot but these shoes still felt a little loose. I kept trying them on with different types of socks, adjusting the straps, and finally found the right fit. I just refused to send them back. I wore them two days this week and my feet feel great, even after a busy shift.

I have bought this same style in black, red and now my second pair of white. Love it. It wears wonderfully and is great to wear for something trendy in the hospital setting.....Will buy more...And recommend it highly! Very true to size and durable!

Another winning shoe from Dansko for those of us working 12 hour plus shifts! MY feet NEVER hurt at the end of the day! I have a high arch and Dansko is the only shoe I've ever found that gives me real support.

These shoes are very comfortable, roomy in the toes, and have a GREAT arch support. I'm a nurse on my feet all day, so these are wonderful shoes for me. They also help your posture by distributing your weight evenly throughout your foot in the shoes.

Very Comfortable Work Shoes -
I am an aesthetician and work at a spa with concrete floors. I needed white shoes which would provide support and not look too nurse-like. These do the trick. They are cute (for white shoes!) and very cushy.

Too wide for my narrow foot, but, will exchange for another Dansko (mary jane) and hope it's a snugger width since it's not considered a "clog" like this one; but, have to say Zappos.com is THE ULTIMATE in customer service and shipping!!! Was skeptical for my 1st purchase on line, and received my order the 2nd day in the morning!!! These didn't work out, but Zappos.com was great!!!! Will recommend this site!!!

Dansko Marcelle is beautiful!
I really like the look of Dansko's Marcelle.It's definitely the best-looking nurses shoe I've ever owned. It needs time to break in,being pretty uncomfortable at first, but they are gradually becoming very comfortable. The heel is the best--impossible to get a blister! I get lots of compliments.

Heavy and Uncomfortable -
I bought these shoes for nursing school because they looked cute and the reviews were good. But after a week of wearing them, I couldn't stand them anymore. The edges of the leather rub on the top of my feet, the insole is hard and ungiving, the bottom of the shoe is also hard and not shock-absorbing, and the rocker feature doesn't work quite right. They are also very heavy, and not as pretty in person as they are on the computer screen. The bottom has taken on a yellowish tinge, and they're hard to keep clean. Terrible shoes!!

Stylish and Comfortable -
I had recently purchased this simply because it is the only nursing shoes that captured my eyes. I was tired of seeing the same styles of clogs, plogs, and plain white rubber shoes. I am so happy I bought it because not only is it stylish, but surprisingly comfortable to wear. I work an average of 12 hours per shift and I'm on my feet most of the time but it never felt uncomfortable nor heavy. Most of all, I get compliments about it all the time!

Great shoes, lightweight and comfy -
Size 38 had adequate toe room for even my wide feet but gapped in the back unless worn with thick socks (I usually take 7.5). They're really cute, but I returned them because I am thinnish and only 5'2 and these looked ENORMOUS on me, definitely out of proportion, like a Bratz doll shoe.

When I filled out the return form online last night, I also ordered another pair in 4E and it arrived at 3:30 pm today! WHAT SERVICE!!! I will be keeping this pair as they fit great!
