The Ugg's Tasman appears to be made with lighter materials. The attention to the workmanship is as good as ever. It could be that the color is deceiving. You did not offer the natural leather color which is what we all used before. The colors now offered look very artificial. Byron B

Black Ugg's "Tasman"
You made my daughter very happy. She is 11 years old and wears a size 11 women's shoe. It is VERY difficult to find shoes in her size. I went to many stores looking for these Ugg's and no one had them. You had them, sent them immediately, and she was a very happy "Birthday" girl. Thank you Zappos!

Fan of the Ugg Tasman!
These shoes are stylish to wear both inside and outside. Very comfortable and sturdy as well. I'm a huge fan and would purchase Uggs again from Zappos!

I bought these shoes for my Dad. I had been looking for 2 years for a replacement for my dad. Finally I found a shoe he loves. Zappos ordering was very easy and the delivery was very fast. Couldn't be happier.

Best item for your feet you will ever own -
I had a different pair of Uggs but the sole was not nearly as sturdy as these. I put them on as soon as I get home from work and they never leave my feet. SO comfortable and you can definitely go outside with them to walk the dogs and check the mailbox. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Good solid slipper -
Good slippers. Can be used indoor and outdoor b/c solid rugged sole. No arch support, but who expects that from a slipper? My husband is usually an 11 shoe, but b/c this has a back, he wore the 12.

Bought them for my husband. His first pair if Uggs!! He loves em! Comfortable. Good fit! Stylish. He is a fussy guy so if he likes em then they are great!!! He will buy another pair after these I am sure.

Purchased two pairs, one for me, one for my husband. The size is slightly small for me (but stretched to okay in a day) and right on for his. Mine had some slight defect around the heel on one shoe (could have returned them). The soles are firm but conform to the foot quickly. A little bulky. Not a Birkenstock, but overall a great shoe for indoors and out.

Poor Quality and Value -
I have had these for four months and could not be more disappointed. I was hesitant to spend so much for a pair of slippers, but the brand name and other reviews convinced me they were worth it. So wrong!!! Even using them only as indoor slippers, the outers are inexplicably spotted and the inside lining has actually worn completely away at the heel. I have not had other UGG products, but am suspicious their brand name is all you're paying for. Definitely not a quality shoe. Friends - buyer beware!

Gift for Husband -
This item was purchased as a gift for my husband. He seems to find them quite comfortable and was surprised when he received them. Our son has a pair that he had tried on, so I knew that they would be a good gift for him. I am thinking about getting a pair for myself but have a high instep so am a little hesitant. I am unable to answer your specific questions.

Disappointed -
I wanted a durable and comfortable pair of slippers that would last. These were not it. The fleece insole disintegrated after only a few months. Perhaps it was just a bad pair, none of the other reviewers experienced difficulty.

Winter's flip-flops -
After years of telling my husband how much I love my Uggs, I bought him a pair. He wears flip-flops year round and I kept telling him that to keep his feet warm during the winter, he should have a pair of Uggs... I call them "winter's flip-flops" because they are just as easy to slip on as flip-flops and go with all the same clothes you'd wear flip-flops with anyway… only they provide the great coziness and warmth that flip-flops don't! To my (and his) delight, he wears them all the time and is so happy he finally has a pair of Uggs! Thanks Zappos for making the shopping and ordering process so fast and easy!

I recently purchased four pair of Uggs from Zappos and every pair was perfect. They are so comfortable and warm. My kids and I wear them all the time. Even on the coldest day I usually don't wear socks because they keep my feet that warm. They are also very good looking. I can wear them with jeans or casual dress. I would highly recommend them.

I bought a size smaller for my husband, and he said they were too small even though they would stretch. He also likes to wear socks with them, so his judgment of the size may be way off. He does love them though!

First and foremost... let me praise Zappos service. I ordered these Uggs as a gift at midnight and they arrived the next day via FREE overnight shipping. Uggs are great. I bought myself a pair a year ago and love them so much that I now give them as gifts. The best feature is the sheepskin lining which keeps your feet comfortable no matter if you usually have perspiring feet or cold feet! Magic!

Love the Uggs, but watch the dye!
The Ugg Tasman is great! Super comfortable and they make a size 16! However, the dye they use for the fur inside does turn your feet black. Other than that, fantastic!
