I love this shoe! It was the best Christmas present I had gotten in a while. The only reason I first got them was that they were in style at my school. Now I would wear them even if they weren't in style. The only complaint that I might have is that they get a little lose the more you wear them. I am the type of person that doesn't like to untie and retie my shoe every time I put them on and this shoe is great for that because they get very lose and slip on easily. But I sometimes work out in these at school because I don't bring my tennis shoes and they fall off when I am running but other than that they are great!

Sand Suede Wallabee -
A great shoe, but feels a little strange at first because it fits different from other shoes. Looks good, just like the pic. Although I did get pissed when I sprayed them with a suede protector and the sole turned an orange color... So I would recommend being careful if you do this. Otherwise, I was very happy with the Wallabees.
I ordered the shoes at 5:30PM on Wednesday and received them about the same time on Friday. Thanx Zappos.

Rediscovered My Old College Years Favorite!
I bought my first pair of Wallabees when I was in college (in the 70's). I thought they'd be comfortable walking the campus - was I mistaken! They weren't JUST comfortable; they felt like a dream and wore like iron. About a month ago I was on the Internet, found Zappos and then found *MY* WALLABEES! Instantly, I wanted a pair. I HAD to have a pair and I ordered a pair on the spot. Zappos super fast delivery had them to me in just 3 days. I found I was opening the box with the anticipation of a treasured Christmas gift. As I pealed back the tissue and picked up one of the shoes, it was as if I was holding my youth in my hands and memories of my college years came flooding over me! I slid the new Wallabees onto my foot and rediscovered a comfort in footwear that I had not experienced since college. The plantation crepe sole is resilient, yet gives with each footfall, managing to absorb that feeling of impact and the forefoot is as flexible as any pair of slippers. The suede uppers are as soft as velvet and they are already taking on the shape of my feet. If you're on the fence about ordering your own pair of Wallabees, do it! You'll have a pair of shoes that covers your feet as if they were a second layer of skin and wear like they aren't even there! You won't be disappointed.

Comfortable classics -
These are almost the exact shoes I remember from wearing years ago. Now that they are made in China, the only difference I notice from the original version is the insole is a pre-molded cushion insert, instead of the stitched leather padded insole of the old version. They are just as comfortable however. And from the outside, they appear identical.
I wear size 12 in other brands like VANS and Adidas (Samba), but these run a little larger, so I ordered 11.5 and they are perfect. They run very slightly wider than most similar sizes, but that is part of the comfort factor.

Great shoes!
Got my Wallabee's delivered very quickly. Great looking and fitting shoes. Had not owned a pair since the 70's and they feel just as good as they did back then. The online review from other buyers was so helpful. The shoes are awesome but buy them one size smaller as they come a little large. Looking forward to breaking these shoes in and since I am now in my 40's, they should last a lot longer than my originals. Thanks Zappos for keeping memory lane alive!

Men's shoe for girl!
My daughter wears a 12 regular, sometimes 11 wide in women’s. The Wallabee shoes are the "it" shoes for school uniforms. She loves the color and comfort, so we order these often. They wear wonderfully too.

Narrow suckas -
These shoes look great and the cushioning is sweet, I felt they were on the narrow side though. Didn't think my feet were that wide, but they seem to be towards the toe end. Wish they had fit better.

Not quite the same -
Have worn this shoe in the summer for 40 years for the coolness and ventilation. I always buy Clarks shoes because the lasts provide spacious width while the heel is snug. The one I just bought is still the same great comfortable shoe except that it was not nearly as snug in the heel as the original lasts, relative to the width, nor was the arch support as good.
It felt narrower than marked except in the heel where there was too much leather, at least for me, at the upper shoe lace holes.

Wallabees-
These shoes are awesome for that preppy look. Only downfall is if you wear actual dress/shoe socks, then the exact fit will still slip on and off of your foot maybe causing a blister on the back of your foot. Other than that the shoe is great!

At one time had a pair of the Wallabee boots but didn't like them as they were too high.
Got my Wallabees this weekend and they are super comfortable and awesome. I can see myself wearing them a ton. Don't let the look fool you these are great shoes and you should get a pair

Wallabee's are old school classic. Ridiculously comfortable, premium leather. Not much ankle/foot support in the low cuts but I'm not a huge fan of the boot style.
