Great Shoe - Great Price -
This shoe isn't as well padded as my Rockport 8100, but it is still a good walking shoe. The 7100 isn't quite as thick in the sole, but should do fine for my daily walking routine. Zappos shipping was remarkably fast. Ordered at 9 p.m. and shoes were delivered the next day before 12 noon. Wow - what great service!

Sore feet -
Perhaps I misinterpreted the Prowalker name, but these shoes have no padding and my feet and legs ache after 8 hours of work. I run a machine and basically walk back and forth about 10 feet all day long. I was expecting more padding. They are comfortable and do not rub, but I could not imagine walking all day in them.

A Walking Experience -
This shoe has more than met my expectations. I am required to wear an orthotic device in my shoes to compensate for a short leg. This shoe had the necessary depth and still allowed for a comfortable walk from right out of the box. I left on holiday immediately after the shoe arrived and walked for what seemed like miles. No problems at all. The sizing is true as I understand 9.5 W to be. I would recommend this shoe to anyone who has trouble walking and wants to feel a fair share of comfort at the end of the day.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: ECCO Seawalker Tie - if no orthotic device is needed. This particular shoe is worth every penny for comfort and looks.

This was the third consecutive purchase I made of the same shoe, size and color. I never did this for any other shoe during all of my 82 years! Apparently Rockport has discontinued making them. This I consider a mistake and a shame! On the Zappos website you stated that there were only three pair left in stock. Several other sources had none.
So this pair may have to last me for the rest of my life.

Glad they still carry this shoe.
This is the shoe I wear when I travel. My current pair have been all over the world and I was sad when I realized that they were wearing out. I was glad that I found the identical pair at Zappos.

Classic walker -
Use these for work, 2nd pair I own.
Solid comfort, always have liked the Rockport line. I have a wide foot and these fit perfectly.

Walking Shoes -
Fit and comfort were exact for my size. I have a high instep and high arch and these are great for comfort. I had been using running shoes for walking when going on vacation, etc., but for long periods of wearing them, my feet were always tired. These have relieved my of that problem. I would not use them for running, but for traveling and everyday walking they are perfect. I would buy them again, when needed.

Best Shoe Ever!
I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes that really fit but this is the only shoe that really feels great. My wife bought these for me because I was walking out of the ones I had, I had been wearing those for 2 years but I could not find my size so my wife found them here and the service was great. We were surprised how quick we received them. Thank You and we will order again.

Old Reliable -
These have proven to be the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I order them over and over again. I do use an orthotic insert for extra arch support.

Felt fine walking on carpet. First time serious walking, could not finish. No arch support. May be OK for someone with no foot problems. Have had Rockports before and was happy, but not this time.

Best comfortable shoe around. I have a wide front foot and the toe box was very roomy. Wore this shoe right out of the box, no breaking in. Good overall foot support. This is my second pair and they are very durable.

Excellent casual walking shoe -
I have worn a number of Rockport shoes for years. I really like the Prowalker - often I find it hard to find in my size and color. This one fits the bill fine for an everyday knockabout shoe. Still on file with you looking for this same shoe in white.

I have always enjoyed my Rockport shoes for their comfort, lightweight, support, and appearance. However, the first pair I ordered in my usual size and width felt too short and too narrow. They were exchanged for shoes 1/2 size larger and wider. I'm very comfortable with them now. Thank you Zappos, you're a great store.

Hate to alternate shoes now -
Love this shoe... wear it every other day and it doesn’t show dust and dirt like all my other shoes. Even the laces have stayed like new after 2 yrs! Did I mention that I walk 20 miles a week and they are 'soooo comfortable.

I have a wide foot it is very difficult to find shoes at department stores. I was pleased that my wife found the shoe that I find very comfortable, in the size I need. This is the fist time I was able to find this shoe in the size I need. I have purchased the Prowalkers 5 times in the past.

I have always liked Rockport shoes because of the fit and comfort. For some reason, this time I had to go to a size 15 rather than my normal 14. It also appears that they are not putting the sole on the shoes as in the past. I do not know how long it has been since they changed this as the shoes normally last for a good period of time. This is the first pair I have purchased for several years. The size 15 feels a little larger than I need, but for some reason, the 14 was too small. Perhaps it was mis-marked. That is why I returned them and requested the 15s.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: I like Rockports in general. New Balance is also a good product. I do need those in a 15.

Wow! I am so happy I shopped at Zappos. I got the EXACT shoe I was looking for, the greatest price and by far the fastest shipping I've ever gotten before. Ordered Monday night and delivered free to North Jersey the next morning. And, oh by the way the shoe is a perfect fit and feels wonderful. Again, what a company.

They Do The Job and More -
If you're on your feet all day, especially walking for long periods, this shoe is for you. Comfortable, durable and even looks good. Tried New Balance Walkers and the bottom of my feet ached for days. Stick with the Rockports!

 |  | I want to thank you for your compassion!!! I explained, I think to all the employees, my situation about having lupus, and a car accident with a broken back, but still needing shoes. They have been all heart! You have picked the best people to work for you. I do not know if you realize it but because I have trouble finding shoes I feel like I know everyone. They are the greatest employees and an asset to Zappos. They really do care! Most people today just want to place their 8 hours punch in and out, get home, and forget their job. I truly feel these people at Zappos are the very best that any company can have as employees. Trump, eat your heart out – these people may not be rich, but where it counts, rich at heart.
