Great for walking -
This shoe is great for walking and is a good support for my problem feet. The shoe seemed true to size, gave my toes ample space without crowding and had room to fit my orthotics well. The only thing I wish is that the flexibility of the sole was better. However, a great shoe.

Great boots- they look really stylish with skinny jeans and leggings + long skirts or dresses. The calf is pretty wide. Also, one time I got called "Peter Pan" so be careful that the rest of your outfit isn't too flowy. But these boots are super comfortable- much more so than the other Fryes I own (Campus).

A good choice -
I introduced my guy to Zappos after another difficult search for shoes at the mall. We ordered on Saturday morning and received our package on Monday. He was amazed at the speed of the delivery and at how much of a difference ordering the shoes he wanted in wide width made his shoes so much more comfortable. I think he will be ordering all his shoes from Zappos. He is a Doctor of Psychology with professional responsibilities from business to casual. For his casual wear he finds these shoes appropriate.

Rockport Prowalker -
I have been buying Rockport Prowalkers for probably 12 years. The only problem I've had is getting the correct size. 9 1/2 wide supposedly is not available. If I go with 10 wide it feels too big. So I normally use a 10 med width and this requires more break-in period. I wish I could get this shoe in 9 1/2 wide.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: I would stay with the Rockport Brand.

Comfort Zone -
My husband is a rural carrier that stands at a case and cases mail several hours each day. Comfort standing is very important to accuracy. He is a better rural carrier when his feet do not hurt. Rockport provides this comfort. It comes in the extra width to provide extra comfort to someone who stands a lot. Thanks.

Not quite the same -
I was desperate for a pair of Rockports since the nearest store is 120 miles away. I have worn 8100 for the last 3 years and decided to try the 7100. Well, I will be traveling 120 miles away to buy the 8100 once again. I was a bit disappointed in the 7100 because they feel like my 8100s feel after wearing them for 6 months, low to the ground and feeling the floor beneath them. I believe the 8100 have more cushion. Rockports have been my shoe of choice for the last 17 years.

These shoes lack padding and are not comfortable for full days on my feet. Particularly the insoles hurt my feet. The fit is correct.

I've been wearing Rockports for the last 30 years and there is no comparison for comfort. From the first moment you put them on your feet will smile. I found them slightly cheaper elsewhere but when the freight was included this was the best deal. Zappos is a site you can depend on and as quick as lightening.

I love these shoes - I was looking for a comfortable supportive shoe with a wide width. I am overweight so I really wanted a good shoe for my knees and back. I had heard good things about Rockports so decided to order them. I was amazed at the fast service. I ordered them one day and received them the next day! I love these shoes, they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They are true to size and very supportive, yet lightweight. I love how comfortable the toe area is as well. I will definitely order these again and recommend them to everyone. Zappos has amazing service, I am very pleased.

The best walking shoe -
This is my second pair of Rockport Prowalker. Just returned from walking all over San Francisco and the shoes were so comfortable right out of the box. Zappos has the fastest and most reliable shipping service and your products never disappoint.

The most comfortable and durable shoe I've owned.
I wore out my first pair of Prowalkers after eight years of regular wear and I'm now working on my second pair. They are extremely comfortable and easy to wear from morning to night. In addition, they keep their good looks almost indefinitely. I bought two pair because I haven't seen them around lately.

Ultimate walking shoe!
This is a truly great shoe. Very light, no break-in period. Use it for work and recreation with no problems.

The narrow (N) width in this shoe is narrower in the toe than other N shoe widths I have. Thus it is not as comfortable. Hopefully will stretch with time.

Another fine pair of Rockports - I have had many pairs of Rockport walking shoes. The Prowalker M7100, like those before it, was very quick to break in and is extremely comfortable. I work out five days a week and wear these shoes exclusively. The local store that sold Rockports went out of business last year, so I am grateful that I can get them from Zappos, with no shipping charge no less!

I love Rockport - I am a nurse and have worn Rockport shoes since graduating 20 years ago and have never been disappointed. I walk on a tiled cement floor all day 6 days a week an average of 12 hours a day and never get sore feet. My last pair lasted about 3 years and I had to reluctantly give them up when the seam next to the sole cracked.

I normally wear only New Balance, but the Rockports looked dressier. I gave them a shot, and was pleasantly surprised. They feel and look great. This doesn't mean that I am giving up New Balance, but it does give me a clear alternative.

This is a very good all-around shoe for walking or sports. The conservative style works well with a pair of khakis or on the tennis court. The shoe is very comfortable and can take a lot of wear.

My husband walks for most of his eight hour shift on concrete sidewalks. When he says this shoe is a great walking shoe, believe him. It is also very stylish. Also expect great quality with Rockport.

Very comfortable, nice fit! I tried a more expensive pair of Rockport walking shoes and found they were not as comfortable as the M7100s. I have difficulty getting shoes that fit properly, but these were absolutely the right size.

 |  | My first time ordering from Zappos was a breeze. I am a regular internet shopper, so the ordering process was easy. What really impressed me though, was the service. I ordered 3 pairs of shoes on an evening after I got home from work, and the very next day when I got home the shoes were already there. I was totally shocked. I live in Alabama and I knew there was not a Zappos warehouse in the area. But the shoes were there and they looked and fit perfectly. I am a tall woman with large feet, so it’s normally hard to find shoes to fit me. I was so pleased with the shoes and the service that I started looking for more shoes the same day. I know I will be shopping with Zappos very often in the future. Keep up the good work guys.
