I love Zappos!
I have always had problems finding shoes until I found Zappos. I wear a D width and have rheumatoid arthritis so my feet are a big deal. I bought these boots last year in dark brown, took them out of the box, put them on and was in heaven! I wear them with skirts, pants and jeans and absolutely love these boots. I've been trying ever since to get a pair of black ones in my size and haven't had any luck yet. These boots are versatile and you can wear them all day with no fatigue. Zappos....we need black in 7.5D! An afterthought: I settled for Merricks in black and while nice, they are nowhere near as comfortable as this style.

Comfortable and versatile -
When I tried these boots on for the first time, I felt instant comfort. The interior feels cushiony. Probably the most comfortable boot I have ever owned. I ordered the dark brown color in 7 wide, and the fit is perfect. I'm either a 7 wide or 7.5 medium normally, and the 7 wide was perfect. I love the dark brown color--nice, rugged dark brown and not at all cheap looking. I've previously bought and returned the Rockport Merrick boots which are similar in style, but the fit was less comfortable and the leather was stiff and less "genuine" looking with the Merrick style. I find the midcalf shaft height to be great if you are petite in height (I'm 5'2"), especially if you are tucking jeans into the boots. Wonderful and comfortable boot all around.

Fantastic Boots!
I was a little worried about the flexibility of these boots, being pink, but they are actually a very neutral color - more of a pink-beige. I've had these now over a year and they are still my favorite boots - so comfortable and they still yield a lot of compliments, though they are scuffed up. Men seem to love them, so I'm okay with that! I would not hesitate to buy them.

Great boot!
I love these boots and would highly recommend. My feet are a mess with bunions, so I have a very difficult time finding comfortable shoes. Based on others' reviews, I ordered the Wide and am very happy with my purchase. Comfort is great. The overall look is a bit more casual than I would like but these days comfort trumps style in my closet. Definitely worth the money!

Rockport Dock Squares -
I have been a fan of Rockport shoes but these boots were a disappointment. The dark brown leather looked very cheap, almost like patent or man-made leather.
The wide boot even seemed to be rather narrow and I usually can wear just a medium width. I sent them back...thank goodness for Zappos.com. I will never shop for shoes anywhere but Zappos.com!!

Great basic boot -
This is a great boot that you will wear often if you mainly go casual. When I bought them, there was only a wide width available, but it doesn't seem wide and I have a medium to slightly narrow foot. I'm surprised that some reviewers found the shaft tight. I always thought I had muscular calves, but I find the shaft slightly loose.

2nd Pair of Dock's square!
This is my second pair -- I stand on my feet a lot during the day and these 2 pairs of boots are perfect, ESPECIALLY with western-type skirts! Great fit - great look!

I have paddle-like feet, short toes, wide at the balls, plus a bunion and a high instep. Fit for me is tricky, especially since style is very important! I'm very happy with these - they are lightweight but look rugged and have plenty of room in the toe. They were shorter than I expected from the photo - they just come to the base of the calf - but it's a very hip & current height.

I like everything about this boot but the lining. It's synthetic and I think it will make for stinky feet and boots.

Really great boots -
These boots are ridiculously comfortable. I've actually ran in them on numerous occasions trying to catch the bus or something, and they have really great support and don't rub on your feet at all. They are also very soft on the inside so if your socks aren't long enough, it's not a problem. I got the wide because I wanted them to be comfy, and I think they're perfect as long as your feet aren't very narrow. I've worn them with both pants and skirts and they look great with both. I like my boots to look sort of rugged, which they do, especially if you scuff them up a bit which I accomplished naturally. : ) I was really worried about them because the calf circumference is two inches smaller than the widest part of my calf, but they don't come that high up, at least on me. I highly recommend these.

Even though I ordered wide, they still were not very wide. If I can go into a cheap un-named shoe store and fit into the wide, I expect to be able to fit into an expensive wide shoe. I will have to pay more for a shoe repair place to widen it for it to be comfortable.

Very comfortable right out of the box and light on the feet. No breaking in. I own them in both the banana color and the pink color. Both are nice. I have narrow feet so I do wear socks with them. I wear these boots with jeans and skirts. Of course, Zappos has the best and fastest shipping.

Don't let the color name scare you--it's not yellow, but a blonde-tan color. These boots are very light on my feet. Wish I would've waited for the size 9 to be restocked (I went w/the 8 1/2), it fits fine with a thinner dress-sock or knee-high). I like that this boot doesn't make feet appear wide like some boots do and would look good w/ a skirt or jeans. The calf circumference is probably a little smaller than other ones (if you have big calf muscles, go w/ another boot). Service Fantastic--speedy delivery. First-time customer review

Awesome boots ever!!!
Just received my boots from Zappos today and as always, never disappointed. They upgraded my shipping and voila! shoes are here. As soon as I put on these boots, they were comfy as ever-- very lightweight, goes well with my skirt or jeans. I can't wait to break them in. I got them in WIDE since my feet tend to hurt if I buy the MEDIUM and it definitely feels good. Leather is soft...great job Zappos!!

Great authentic looking boot -
I love these boots. I am a horse girl that had to move to the city with my husband when the baby came. I love the home life but missed working outdoors and wearing my good ole' work boots. These are the town version. Very comfortable, quite sturdy and oh so stylish! And they have even held up to a couple of trips out to the old horse farm. I may get a pair in another color! Ps. I was pregnant when I ordered these in a 7.5, my standard boot size. They fit through most of my pregnancy and they still fit very true.

I love love love this boot with one exception...My calves measure about 14" so there was some bagginess at the top. Otherwise, these are really great daily boots and definitely worth the price.

This is very comfortable boot in my boots collection. Good for daily use and walking. Also very cozy for winter, good with casual style of jeans and skirts. One true thing is, this Brandy color is really "Brown" in person, not light Tan color or not light brown like web's picture shows, just more real brown like brandy or whisky, cognac color, very different from the picture but good leather color. Goes with any cloths.
I love this boots because very comfortable and stable and pay attention to Rockport now. I love Zappos, as always their return service helps my picky difficult eyes on shoes. I could choose my favorite boots and shoes from so many try. Very trustworthy service and i will buy in Zappos again. I have 3 months old baby with me at home now and have to watch my cutie angel always so cannot go to shopping so easily since the birth and I was frustrated, BUT Zappos helps and makes my shopping life still possible and enjoyable! A classic boot for my wardrobe-
I wanted a boot that would be a classic, non-trendy piece. It also had to be comfortable. I mulled over about ten options from Zappos and settled on Rockport. It has been a good purchase. It looks nice with skirts and with boot-cut jeans, it is so comfortable that I don't even take it off in the house after running errands, and I like the "middle-of-road" quality in how it looks. Not too tall, not too decorated. I think I might have chosen a different size if I had had the option of trying it on, but the ability to choose over so many styles was nicer than being in a store, and getting to try on only a few choices. I picked a size a bit too big but I just wear thick socks rather than hose, and I think it helps the feel of the boot too. I hardly even notice that I'm wearing heels. Zappos was great to work with and I'm excited to find my summer sandals soon from them!

Great boot....
Fits perfectly. Very comfortable. Looks cute with a knee length skirt. I have gotten lots of positive feedback. I'm a nurse practitioner and am on my feet all day 12 hours/day. The boots are comfortable without an inner sole. No rub or scratch around the calf. Go ahead...You know you want them in black too!

These boots were a Christmas present and they are so great. I never needed to break them in, just wore them to work one day and I didn't want to take them off at the end of the night. They have a little bit more of a casual / cowboy kind of look. If I need a new pair of boots, I will look to Rockport again.
