I totally disagree with the review that says this boot runs big & does not fit a wide calf. I am a large woman with big calves & they fit me perfect. Happy Thanksgiving Zappos.

So disappointed. Loved the look of these, but they were too tight in the calf, and I'm overweight but I don't have unnaturally large calves. The actual foot sizing was way huge, a full size larger or more.

Great boots! Just what I was looking for, but I am going to have to return them. I have very muscular/athletic calves, to the tune of 17 inches. Finding boots that don't look like buckets is next to impossible. I thought these beautiful boots fit the bill.

Finally! A good-looking stylish boot that fits my small foot, ankle, and curvy calves! These boots are very interesting. They have a classic riding boot look. The top to bottom elastic back will fit any size calf. With the lower half covered by the lacing it doesn't look like a special boot for wide calves. (I think this can work for narrow calves, too.) I feel they run big. I got a 6 W and while they are roomy side to side, I think they are a little long. The plus to this is I can wear warm socks come colder weather! The laces are a little long. You may want to get shorter ones especially if, like me, you have narrow ankles and lace them up tight. If you have wider legs the lacing in the back can look like a corset (very cool!). Buy 'em. Get 'em.

I just wanted to send a quick thank you to all of you for being such a wonderful company. I have ordered from you several times in the past and have always enjoyed your wide selection, fast shipping, and easy return policy. However, while these are great attributes of a company, they don't usually inspire me to write feedback emails raving about the company. About a week ago, I wanted to order a pair of shoes I'd had my eye on for quite some time. I shopped around but, as usual, Zappos.com had the best price (and free shipping!). However, when I tried to order, neither you nor any other website I visited had the shoes in my size. I called your customer service number to find out if they had been discontinued. In my experience, these sort of help lines rarely produce any sort of useful information, so I don't usually expect a whole lot from them. I called at around 5:30am Eastern Time, and was thrilled someone actually answered the phone that early in the morning! That would have been enough to make me a happy customer, however in true Zappos.com form, my experience exceeded expectations. Not only was the representative friendly and helpful, he took time to check your inventory and find out if the shoes had been discontinued. Then, he checked out other websites to find out if they had the shoes in my size! After several minutes of searching, he was able to find one website with one remaining pair in my size. However, at that point I was so impressed with Zappos.com that there was no chance of me ordering those shoes from any other website! So thank you to Zappos.com and that customer service representative, whoever he is, for such stellar customer service! Keep up the great work!
