Love this boot! It looks great, feels great too. It zips all the way down to the sole, so no more struggling to get my foot through the ankle. Very comfortable and room for orthodics. I usually wear a 9.5 in shoes, but these boots run a little big in the foot so I\'ll have to order the 9. I have 16" diameter calves, so the 17.5" calves were a little big but totally tolerable. I would measure your calves first, since the other reviewers thought the calves were tight. Well worth the expense! Looks great with casual skirts and jeans.

I really wanted these boots to fit, but they are not a wide calf item. I loved the look, but I needed just a bit more room in the calf. It's too bad; I loved them otherwise.

Not really a wide calf item -
I have to wear a wide calf boot and hoped these would fit. They are not as wide as they purport to be. If a 10.5 is 17.75 circumference then a size 9.5 would have fit me. These seem wider in the ankle than in the shaft. Beautifully made, would have been wonderfully comfy and I would have worn them out if they fit me.
