I really wanted these boots to fit, but they are not a wide calf item. I loved the look, but I needed just a bit more room in the calf. It's too bad; I loved them otherwise.

not really a wide calf item -
I have to wear a wide calf boot and hoped these would fit. They are not as wide as they purport to be. If a 10.5 is 17.75 circumference then a sz 9.5 would have fit me. These seem wider in the ankle than in the shaft. Beautifully made, would have been wonderfully comfy and I would have worn them out if they fit me.

 |  | Thank you, thank you! I'm thinking the Zappos customer service team must be made up of magical wizards, and I am getting spoiled! I called yesterday to exchange sneakers for a larger size, and late last night ordered some girly shoes, and this morning BOTH the sneakers and the shoes were at my door! I am stunned! Today I called a different place to order a specialty item (after checking Zappos site for something similar first, of course) and there is just no comparison whatsoever. Now I must wait at least a week for my order from this other place, and on top of that, pay ten bucks shipping! See, I am spoiled by Zappos spectacular customer service. Thank you so much!
