What is UP with the size 12 boots? This is frustrating review #4 out of 6 pairs of boots that I ordered. I am a regular size 12 in cheap Payless shoes. Have been for years. Wanted to spend several hundred dollars on beautiful leather boots. Can't do it because they are all built on the same width footbed as a size 6 or 7. As feet get inches longer, they also widen up there, shoe manufacturers. And this wouldn't have been long enough. Now that my vent is over, the lining of these boots is a gorgeous microfleece type of material that would feel divine. The height is sexy, at just at the bottom of the knee (I'm 6'+). Sigh. Wish me luck on pair #5.

I bought this boot because I wanted a tall-shafted, black leather boot. I received the boot but I wasn\'t super impressed. I think the look just wasn\'t what I was going for. Also, I have larger calves (they measure 15 in in circumference) and they barely fit into a size 9 shoe. The measurements list that a size 6.5 shoe has a shaft circumference of 15 in, so I was hoping it\'d be slightly larger on the 9. But it wasn\'t. Be advised. There was no way I\'d be able to fit a pair of jeans in there with my leg. \r\n\r\nOtherwise, I guess the boot was made okay. The buckle is metallic black, not silver like it looks in the picture.
