I really was hoping these boots would fit well. The construction on them is top notch, and the stitching looks great. Nice quality leather, too. But they ran narrow for me in the toe, and tight in the ankle. No way could I tuck pants in; I barely could get them zipped, but I do have wider calves. Nice heel and sole, but they have a small pad on the inside where the bottom of your heel goes, and you can feel the edges of the pad, and are a little uncomfortable because of this. But again, they were good quality, and I would recommend them to someone with narrow feet/calves.

I wear a size 10 shoe and find a lot of bootmakers do not accommodate in the circumference for women with larger feet & calves. On the other hand trying to get "wide calf" boots has failed because they bag too much on me. So I got these loving the style, but fearing the fit & price. It was totally worth it! They fit great, the color is beautiful. They are snugger at the top and slightly loose near the ankle, but not in an unfashionable way. They are lined. You may want to get an insole for extra arch support (I can feel the heel despite the extra padding), or at least to create a non-slippery layer since the inside is slick leather, depending on what you wear under the boots. I will consider getting these in black when I can afford it, or another pair by this brand. Finally, since the grey is more like a suede material, I purchased Ugg sheepskin repellent off Zappos since it was extremely well-reviewed for repelling stains in winter on light colored boots.
