Great belt, but order a size up.
I've found I've had to order up a size in Allen Edmonds belts. My brother has found the same.

Allen-Edmonds Belts -
I had previously purchased an Allen-Edmonds belt and had been very pleased with that. When this one arrived it lived up to my high expectations. Although not a high fashion label you get a premium quality product that looks superb, especially when worn with matching shoes, and does not bend out of shape like many others. The buckles do not tarnish and don't loose their color. Most belts on the market today are made from a single piece of leather, Allen-Edmonds belts are made from 2 pieces with material in between the layers to keep the shape. The belt is finely put together and the leather itself is of very high quality. I have yet to be disappointed with an Allen-Edmonds product.

I think the belt is adequate for what it is designed to do, however, for the expense of this item I anticipated a much more substantial belt. Overly priced but provides a nice look, I imagine a similar look could be had for far less money. True to size.

Too much money for a belt?
Well it isn’t cardboard. Many (men & women) believe that the "look" begins and ends with accessories. This belt is soft. It actually hugs around your waist and you can appreciate the comfort and the subtle look. Try one of these A&E belts and compare it to a cheap belt. You will come to appreciate the difference in the workmanship and the leather. Is it too much money to spend for a belt? Maybe.
And who will notice the difference. You will. But also those few who know how to accessorize. (I just love these reviews. Keep up the good work, Zappos!)

Short on Quality -
I purchased this belt as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. He felt it wasn't the quality he expected for either the price or the brand. I will return it and look at other brands since the recipient of a gift always has the last word. :-)

A Belt that will last -
Standard business belt, you won't make a fashion statement but will look professional with a no frills and no-nonsense approach. The quality of leather is excellent, and comfort is a plus. You won't realize you are wearing a belt, as the leather is light and moves with you during your day. You won't have to replace this belt for a good 3-5 years if you take care of it.

Pricy and Plastic -
The design and look of the belt was a great match to the shoes which it matched. The belt itself seems to be somewhat brittle and has a feel as though it has a plastic or haevy cardboard strip inside. For the price it ought to wear well. $90 is a little steep but it is a perfect match to an outstanding pair of shoes.

Incredibly expensive belt -
I still can't believe I paid 80-dollars for this belt. It is nice but way overpriced. I justified it by thinking that if I'm going to drop 270-dollars on some shoes, I might as well get an exact matching belt.

The two pieces combines to make an outstanding matches pair between a gentleman's waist and shoes. The leather is exquisite on both pieces and I was extremely pleased with the results.
