New Balance Review -
I used this shoe since foot surgery several years ago and found it to be very comfortable. It is excellent to clean and is easy to tighten or loosen when necessary. Have recommended this shoe to several people. My podiatrist recommended New Balance.

I am in love.
This is the second time that I have bought these shoes. Wore the first to work (staff RN) along with my other shoes for about 2 years. Lost one of the mates this summer and needed something comfortable and functional for my job. I have the least foot pain with these than even the Crocs that I wear. Easy to put on, wore well.

Happy Feet -
My new job was killing my feet and after the first week I bought WW811 as fast as Zappos could send them! I'm still exhausted at the end of the day, but my feet are alright. Lots of wiggle room in the toe area, which is one thing I look for.

This shoe is great, especially considering the price. It's comfortable and is lined with a furry material within. As such, it probably isn't well suited for those with big calves. The fit is on the tighter side given the furry lining inside.

The Most Comfortable Pair of Shoes - This is my second pair of these New Balance WW811s. I wear almost nothing else now unless I absolutely need to dress up. Otherwise, these are permanently on my feet. I can wear them everywhere. I have had multiple foot surgeries with limited success, so I need a shoe with good support and ample depth to allow for inserts. This style fits the bill.

I love these shoes. I now have 3 pair. They are comfortable and run wide. They could use a little more padding, but they are good for walking. I also love Zappos, they have amazingly fast shipping and great customer service.

Nursing shoes -
I bought these shoes in white for nursing school. They suit their purpose - though I'd prefer the Velcro tabs be longer. They're pretty comfortable, but the arch support could be improved. Unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to really walk long distances in them yet.

These shoes have all the excellent qualities one would expect from New Balance shoes. They have a full comfortable toe box and can be adjusted for a narrow foot with the straps. My foot is narrow and I found the heel a bit lose, but could adjust with the straps. It allowed ample room for my custom running orthotics. Overall, a great vegan shoe!

Hook and Loop Beats Tie -
So easy to use plus efficient closure. Plenty of toe room which my bunion appreciates. Am hoping for a suede version in the near future. Hope you will be as pleased as I am.

Excellent support for elderly -
I ordered a pair of these for my mother, who just turned 84. She had just purchased shoes at twice the price, but they were uncomfortable. She loves these and they offer great support, stability and fit.

Comfy sneaker -
Having problematic feet, I find these sneakers very comfortable. They are able to accommodate my orthotics with ease. I live in sneakers and appreciate these New Balance sneakers.

They changed my life!!
I have neuropathy in feet and lymphoderma in legs - lots of swelling and pain. Poor balance created a need for a cane. Wore Crocs for nearly 3 years to help feet and stability. Still needed a cane. The NB 811 was recommended to me because of the roll bar. Now my feet cannot roll to one side or the other. It is wonderful and has changed my life!! Now I don't even use a cane!!! I have been told they are Medicare approved; what a plus!

Good shoe for the purpose -
I have problems with the top of my feet right now so I need a shoe without laces. This fits the bill but my feet are narrow and even the double A isn't really narrow enough for me. So it works, but not perfectly. It's a good quality shoe and easy to take on and off.

Dorky but comfortable. I bought these for my 88-year-old mom with problem feet. She loves them! They're lightweight, stable, and comfortable. You don't have to be geriatric to enjoy them, though. I'm thinking of getting a pair for myself.

I have a wide foot. After reading the reviews, I ordered a B width. It is more than adequate. The shoe is very comfortable. The wide toe box lets my corns, hammer toes, etc., all be comfy. I will be ordering another pair.

Great walking shoes!
These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned, from the first moment I put them on. The area at the end around the toes is very high so there is no rubbing whatsoever.

Absolutely the greatest walking shoe ever -
Received shoes 2 days before a 14 day walking trip to Turkey. Out of 39 tourists, 6 wore WW811. Just a wonderful shoe - did not need to 'break in'. At end of each day no problem with feet.

New Balance WW811 (Hook-and-Loop) -
I've been wearing New Balance lace-style walking shoes for many years and have loved them for their lightweight, strong construction, comfort, and good fit. The only thing that was a problem was the laces, which tended to come untied (so I would double-knot them) and would wear out and look ratty. (I never was successful in finding the same kind of shoelace to replace them.) This time I decided to try the hook-and-loop style to avoid these problems. I am wearing these new shoes and getting along with them OK, but even though they are the same size as my old shoes, they seem a bit wider, maybe because I have no shoelaces to cinch up. As a result, my feet move around in the shoes a bit more than I like. It also seems I have a lot less arch support than I am used to. In addition, I used to wear an orthotic beneath the removable liner of my left shoe and I can't wear it with this new pair because the liners are glued in place. I haven't tried wearing the orthotic with these shoes because I think that would be uncomfortable with no barrier between it and my foot. So, even though I am wearing these shoes and they are OK, I am a bit disappointed in them. When I need to replace them, I may decide to go back to the shoelace version.

The shoe was bought for the functional use. I had a knee replacement and had to get a slip on shoe. It seems a little wider than most of the shoes that I buy in that size. I wish the hook and loop part of the shoe was a bit longer and wider. It will serve the purpose for which they were bought. Naturally they are not the most attractive shoe I own.

WOW!! Wonderful service... I ordered a different brand...returned them & ordered these... they are so comfortable. No break in period. Due to wearing a AFO brace I’m hard to fit...measuring two different sizes… the fit is great.
The service from beginning to end was just awesome. Hats off to the customer service reps.

For what they are -
I bought these shoes because I am recovering from a severe leg injury and begging to walk again. The shoes provide great stability and are comfortable. Even though the foot of the injured leg is still somewhat swollen, narrow is my usual size and these fit. The adjustable Velcro makes the difference. A tiny bit loose in the heel. They aren't fashionista shoes, but that's not what I need at this juncture.

I wished I ordered it earlier! The Velcro straps could have been longer. It is not much too look up to like the lace ones but it works well with my AFO.
