This is a great bag. It has a ton of storage, most of which is easy to access while it’s slung over your shoulder, well done to the designers for figuring that out. The only drawback is that the strap has too little 'grip', meaning that it slides around while you walk and requires a few adjustments here and there. The strap also doesn’t pull that tight, meaning that the bag hangs a little low even at the tightest setting.

Nice design with well thought out pockets; nice padding on the body side of the bag; the shoulder strap works great, but could use a more substantial handle grip for lifting, etc. when you're not carrying it around on your shoulder.

This is an awesome bag, it exceeded my expectations. Lots of pockets and slots for organization. It is perfect for daily use, carrying everything I need to and from work. Zappos' description and option of viewing the bag from different angles really helped me make an informed decision in purchasing this bag. I would definitely recommend it.

I wish that the cushion/laptop sleeve was bigger (I have a 13.3 inch laptop, and it can’t be secured with the hook-and-loop closure) I bought this bag in pink with the skulls. It matches my pink laptop. I get so many compliments on this bag! Love Zappos!

Great for traveling abroad!
I bought this bag because other folks rated it high for its size and organization, plus its main compartment zippers besides being "folded over" for closure. I traveled to Germany and Italy for two weeks, and this was perfect as a day bag to carry my cameras, wallet, travel guides, hat and gloves, and any souvenirs I picked up along the way. This was also my carry-on luggage for the airplane ride, and the flap-pocket was great for keeping my tickets, passport, and ziploc bag of liquids easily accessible. I'd recommend this to anyone planning travels; it would probably also be great for students.

You never want to look like a loser with an extra huge book bag, trying to hike it across campus looking like the hunchback of Notre Dame. You don’t have to worry about that with this bag. It's big enough to carry my 15" Lenovo ThinkPad laptop, a couple of notebooks, and a few paperback books too. Plenty of pocket space for pens, pencils, and whatever else. Definitely 2 thumbs up. I got the black...it’s quite classy.

The size is a bit narrower than 'wide'. The zipper on the bottom gets stuck at the seam, and will not zip up when it's on.

My son used this bag on a trip to Euro '08. Just the right size for magazines, electronics, couple of snacks and jacket for flight over. Now he plans to use it for his computer when he goes back to college. He didn't need the comfort pad for the strap but it does have one. As always service was great from Zappos.

I am very happy with my purchase and with Zappos.com service. This was my first purchase at Zappos.com and I was surprised when the shipping on my order was upgraded at no cost to me. The package was fast – it was only a few days from the time I checked out to the day it arrived at my door (and with standard shipping too!).

The bag was perfect. My boyfriend was looking for something to carry all of his things in. He's a diabetic and needs to have all of his supplies with him. He loves all of the extra pockets and compartments. This bag met the description online and looks great! Very good for a man to carry. He thinks it's wonderful!

Great bag. Well made which means a lot with heavy daily use and constant opening/closing. Would have liked to see more funky choices for the tween age. But in general, great bag and worth the money.

I really like this bag. I ordered it because my son has one for school and it's lasted him 3 years and has no rips, tears, etc. despite the huge amount of books and other stuff he carries... it just looks nicely worn. So 5 stars for durability. I ordered black and it has just the right mix of professional / hip look. I'm a software engineer so I carry my gear in it. It has loads of room for everything I need. Be aware that though the side padding for a laptop is decent (protective, but not quite as much as I would like) there is no padding on the bottom of the laptop sleeve. This means that your laptop could get banged around on the bottom edge when you set the bag down. So, I keep laptop in a separate padded sleeve that I bought. The price and free shipping it was the best deal I found on this bag after quite a bit of shopping around. Shipping was overnight, for free! That's service!

Big Big Bag -
My daughter started high school this year and decided she wanted a messenger bag instead of a backpack. We ordered this bag because it seemed to have the storage capacity equivalent to a large backpack. We didn't take into account how awkward this would be to carry over your shoulder. She's 5'4" and the bag proved to be too big for her. She was getting bumped and pushed frequently in the crowded hallways. It makes a nice overnight bag, though.

Great Looker But For the Smaller Laptops -
Great looking bag, no doubt. Lots of pockets and storage and very well made. Sturdy. Roomy. However, my Macbook Pro (17") didn’t quite fit in the laptop compartment. That isn’t a huge deal as the main compartment has enough room for the computer and two texts. If you have a lappy 15" or smaller, this is a great bag to have. Plus you can’t beat the price.
