My son used this bag on a trip to Euro '08. Just the right size for magazines, electronics, couple of snacks and jacket for flight over. Now he plans to use it for his computer when he goes back to college. He didn't need the comfort pad for the strap but it does have one. As always service was great from Zappos.

I am very happy with my purchase and with Zappos.com service. This was my first purchase at Zappos.com and I was surprised when the shipping on my order was upgraded at no cost to me. The package was fast – it was only a few days from the time I checked out to the day it arrived at my door (and with standard shipping too!).

The bag was perfect. My boyfriend was looking for something to carry all of his things in. He's a diabetic and needs to have all of his supplies with him. He loves all of the extra pockets and compartments. This bag met the description online and looks great! Very good for a man to carry. He thinks it's wonderful!

Great bag. Well made which means a lot with heavy daily use and constant opening/closing. Would have liked to see more funky choices for the tween age. But in general, great bag and worth the money.

I really like this bag. I ordered it because my son has one for school and it's lasted him 3 years and has no rips, tears, etc. despite the huge amount of books and other stuff he carries... it just looks nicely worn. So 5 stars for durability. I ordered black and it has just the right mix of professional / hip look. I'm a software engineer so I carry my gear in it. It has loads of room for everything I need. Be aware that though the side padding for a laptop is decent (protective, but not quite as much as I would like) there is no padding on the bottom of the laptop sleeve. This means that your laptop could get banged around on the bottom edge when you set the bag down. So, I keep laptop in a separate padded sleeve that I bought. The price and free shipping it was the best deal I found on this bag after quite a bit of shopping around. Shipping was overnight, for free! That's service!

Big Big Bag -
My daughter started high school this year and decided she wanted a messenger bag instead of a backpack. We ordered this bag because it seemed to have the storage capacity equivalent to a large backpack. We didn't take into account how awkward this would be to carry over your shoulder. She's 5'4" and the bag proved to be too big for her. She was getting bumped and pushed frequently in the crowded hallways. It makes a nice overnight bag, though.

Great Looker But For the Smaller Laptops -
Great looking bag, no doubt. Lots of pockets and storage and very well made. Sturdy. Roomy. However, my Macbook Pro (17") didn’t quite fit in the laptop compartment. That isn’t a huge deal as the main compartment has enough room for the computer and two texts. If you have a lappy 15" or smaller, this is a great bag to have. Plus you can’t beat the price.

Jansport's Elefunk messenger bag -
I needed a bag for my laptop and had a very hard time finding one to fit my 17" and still have room for books, my purse, water, and a few other things! It gets a bit heavy, but that is because my computer is ginormous and this bag is perfect for any laptop plus whatever else you need to tote around. You no longer need to carry a separate bag for books and other things, which is what I had to do....such a hassle! So far it is strong and wears well, and the only complaint I have is that it could include a carry handle and would be the ultimate bag! Still, it is just about perfect. I got it in the pink, and it is really pretty and I get compliments all the time. I even got called "the pretty girl with the pretty pink bag" so hey, I'll take that! :)

Nice bag for the price -
I have tried several messenger style bags over the past year, toting items from my car to the office 5 blocks away. This bag is probably the best value of the half dozen I've tried. I wish it had a zipper storage in the back for the newspaper, but all in all, good value. It is sturdy, seems to be weather resistant and decent storage areas.

My children loved it they use it for carrying there Leapfrog's. It’s comfortable enough for them to carry and it holds everything they need. The material is of good quality and durable. I would recommend it for anyone.

Perfect work bag-
I purchased this in black for my husband, he used to carry a backpack to work and it wasn't professional looking. This is practical and looks way more grown up than a backpack. He loves it and says that it is comfortable. I think he looks so cute carrying it!

Exactly what I was looking for!
I was looking for a messenger bag that would be big enough to carry my laptop when I needed it, but not so big that it would be too unwieldy. This is great, I use it all the time for school, it has tons of space and compartments for everything.

I'm a college student and got this bag for that purpose. It works great, is big enough for all my books and binders, snacks, etc. It has a ton of compartments to put things, and mesh holders on each side for water bottles or whatever. I live in a rainy city, and this bag repels rain rather than soak it up like canvas bags I've had. It was a great deal, and I love it!

A perfect fit!
This was a perfect sized bag for my 17" screen Toshiba laptop. I looked a while and was pleased to find something so reasonably priced. I do have to say the laptop fits in the big portion of the bag, not the sleeve designed for it, but it works for me -- I just put papers in the other section.

I bought this bag for a friend who was heading to college and she loved it. The colors were even more vibrant than in picture and it was well-made with a durable fabric. It had a lot of pockets and storage space and is the perfect bag for a student with a laptop. Zappos price was also the best I found on the internet.

Love Zappos. The bag is my daughter's school bag. She loves the color and all the compartments. She says it hurts her shoulder, but she has a lot in it.
She was very picky about what she wanted, so Zappos saved me lots of running around time. Thanks.

Forget the "funky" name, this European carryall is high quality, flexible and extremely functional. For the price, it's a tremendous value. Purchased in basic black.
