I love these boots! They are so comfy and light. Great style, looks really good in jeans. It's so hard to find boots with (W)wide widths not looking too bulky, but this style was just perfect. Have gotten a lot of compliments already. And the price is really reasonable, too.

I was looking for a pair of brown boots to go with a specific outfit. I found them with the Fitzwell Mentor. They came in a size 13 (that in itself is a miracle!), they had some decorative hardware, they had elastic on the back for comfort and they felt great after wearing them all day. I wore them over the Holiday weekend and got many compliments on the new outfit with new boots!

Finally a boot that fits! After years of looking for wide calves boots, I finally found these beautiful, classy and comfortable boots. These boots fit my muscular calves without looking like huge and over-sized. My 17" calves look super fine.

I really like these boots. I bought the wide width because I work on my feet all day and they tend to swell in the afternoon. They look great, fit well, and are very comfortable all day. The sole is a little thin, so I put in a cushion sole and that helps walking outside on the pavement. Very easy to get leggings in, and looks great with skirts or dress, I do get complements. I bought a second pair in Black, to stick with what works.

These fit nicely around my calves, but felt a bit roomy in the shoe. I am a size 7 with 16\' calves. The leather looked and felt cheap unfortunately and I sent them back.

Absolutely the best fitting boot I have ever purchased. I have wide calves and the elastic back panel on these boots makes them fit even better than a boot which is totally leather. The quality and fit are superb. I hope to see more boots like this from Fitzwell in the future. I can't say enough good things about this boot.

These are terrific boots. I have short, wide feet and normally wear an 8 wide. Based on other reviews I ordered this boot in 7 1/2 and I'm glad I did; it definitely runs long. It also comes in WW which is a treat for me. They're very comfortable and look classy; I love the low heel and the ankle strap. I'd prefer all leather rather than the fabric calf, but that's not a big drawback. And, although these are listed as "wide-calf", my calves are just medium and these boots fit fine (I assume the fabric stretches for those who need it). I'm so glad I took a chance with these wonderful boots, and Zappos free shipping made it easy!

I ordered this boot in a 7.5 W and 7.5 WW. I have a 15 inch muscular calf and can never fit in regular boots. Both pair fit calf wise, but were extremely long in the foot. I will have to order a 6.5 to fit. I have never worn a 6.5. These run very big. Otherwise they are really stylish and well made. Leather is very nice, but the back of the boot is predominantly a stretch fabric. I guess that's what it takes to fit big calves.

I bought these boots a few days ago. First of all, the shipping was phenomenal. I had them the very next day. The boot is beautiful. I have a 17 inch calf, and they fit well. The back panel is stretchy material. The great thing about the back is that its very stable. As the reviewer before mentioned, the side panels really make a girls legs look longer than they are. These boots were well worth the money, and can make anyone look fantastic in them.

A nice looking boot that is comfortable for my wide calves, if snug. I'm 5'2" and wear size 6.5 or 7 and my calves measure at about 15.75 inches. I have no problem zipping these up and the elastic sections at the back look like part of the design rather than an accommodation for width. The leather stripe up the back is visually lengthening. I ordered size 7 and can wear socks or tights with comfort. The only problem is the gel insert in the heel, which is a little weird at first because you can feel it as a soft bump under your heel. The left boot is fine, but the right boot has a slightly annoying pop when I walk on carpeted surfaces. But I'm not giving up these boots because I like how they look and feel otherwise and they are by far the best-looking low-heel boot I've ever been able to wear. Hopefully the pop will go away. I feel that I'm getting what I paid for. Not the highest-quality boot, but I'll wear these all the time.

Great boot. I purchased a wide when I normally wear a medium, just because I knew it was a boot. It feels great and I get lots of compliments. I couldn't have been happier.
