These are terrific shoes (I got the gray ones with pink laces). I have very LONG narrow feet (size 12). I ordered a size 12 and ba-da-bing! They fit. Plus, they look downright average-sized which is miraculous! There isn't much arch support, but if you're like me, that won't bother you much. In fact, I find them comfortable and have worn them on all day shopping excursions and to conventions where you're on your feet a lot. And as always, Zappos came through in record time. In fact, the last time I ordered from them, I ordered at 9pm and received my package before noon the next day! I almost fell over! That's not a promise it will happen every time but it's just a little reminder that if you need it soon, they'll get it there.

I ordered these shoes to have something a little different to wear with my jeans and capris that are casual and comfortable but not just the same old white tennis shoe. I love them and my sons even think they look "cool"! I love that they are made from recycled materials, too. They run a little small so consider ordering a half size up from your standard size. They do not have a lot of arch support so I don't recommend them for folks looking for a true "exercise" type shoe.

Beware the shoelaces, they were barely long enough to tie a small bow. I contacted Simple Shoes and they said they would send longer laces for the two pairs I bought. After I had worn the shoes and couldn't return them, and hadn't heard from Simple Shoes, I contacted them again. They told me that the replacement laces were only available in grey and taupe, not in the original colors, which are the main feature of the design. They suggested I look for laces online! In addition, one pair of shoes had to be returned because of some defect in the construction, and I found that two pairs in the same size but different colors fit very differently (one was shorter). My overall rating reflects the undependability of the product and the hassle of dealing with the company.

This shoe exceeded my expectations. I wanted a casual shoe that was super comfortable for walking but didn\'t look too sporty like a running shoe. I picked this shoe because it was affordable and I planned on swapping out the insoles for special insoles. When I got them and tried them on they felt so comfortable with the insoles that are included. I wore them all day walking in NYC and my feet felt great! So I never bought the special insoles. Plus! I have received compliments on how they look. They go great with boot cut jeans. And they are eco-friendly! Don\'t buy the $115.00 casual shoe. BUY THESE! :D

Really great shoe. I expected it to be cute (and it was) but I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it also is. It feels completely true to size and I\'ve received a lot of compliments on my pretty green shoes. I will definitely continue to buy not only from Zappos but also from the Simple line.

I love Zappos! If the shoe doesn't fit, you don't have to wear it or pay for shipping it back either. Very simple shipping both ways, and the shoes usually come quicker than expected, too. Yea Zappos!

I got these shoes for my 17 year old daughter and she loves them! This is her second pair of Simple tennies. The first pair held up great and she hasn't found anything else she likes as well for wearing with jeans and for being active. Zappos.com was amazingly fast and offered excellent selection of Simples.

Good fit, even though I usually need narrow, and these are medium width. With the lacing, I can adjust them to my feet. I'm not crazy about the insoles, I replaced them with ones that have more arch support, but I love the shoes. They're very comfortable, great for walking.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: I have a different style in the Simple, and love them too. I also love Privo.

BEWARE -
BEWARE!!!! So, yes these shoes are really cute, but if you feel any pain on the top of your toes when wearing them, make sure to check inside the shoe where the stitching runs across to make sure that there isn't a hard metal exposed object! I wore these shoes only a couple of times and they have injured my big toe so badly that now I have a terrible infection which has possibly entered into the bone. The nail has stopped growing and my toe is purple. When I tried to figure out what happened, I noticed that there is hard metal object exposed inside the roof of the shoe that was perfectly positioned to press on the base of my nail.

Sweet shoes and eco friendly. My mom adored my pair so much she bought a pair too. Comfort is great. Style is great. I personally cherish my green eyes pair. They make your feet look compact if you have larger feet, which is what a lot of people want to know. So now we are hugging trees in our cute and comfy eco-sneaks! Weeee!

I bought the Simple Carat in a 7.5 and could not even get my foot inside. I returned them (hooray for Zappos easy returns) for an 8. Even at a half-size larger, the toe box was so small I could barely fit my foot inside. However, the heel was then much too large. Ridiculous! I do not have wide feet so I don’t understand why these shoes didn’t fit. I am a true 7.5 and have never had trouble with shoe sizes before. I returned them and got a different shoe entirely.

Love these shoes! Bought them for a recent trip to NYC and they were perfect on days when it was rainy or damp. Looked nice enough to sightsee and go into some stores without looking like a total tourist. Great support and light. Actually broke them in while on this trip and was amazed that I didn't develop a blister! Recommend them for a casual travel shoe.

These shoes are so cute and comfortable! My feet are very narrow and these fit well. I had to dance for thirty hours straight for a fundraiser -- I wore these shoes and I didn't get a blister!

Fabulous sneaker!
This shoe is absolutely adorable and comfy, too. I ordered it in the green suede and they are seriously the cutest shoes I have. They don't have a ton of support so I don't think I could walk a gazillion miles in them but for your basic weekend running around they are perfect.

Cute as hell, but not for every day -
I absolutely adore the look of these shoes, and I love that they are made from environmentally responsible materials. Even the glue is water-based. However, they do run just a little bit small. I am a true 5.5 and had to get a 6. The size 6 is a tiny bit too big in the heel, but the 5.5 was too uncomfortably snug width-wise and my toes were a bit scrunched. These don't have any arch support to speak of, but when you compare them to Converse-style they are infinitely more comfy.

I love Simple shoes, but this style is a big letdown. The 'recycled' parts made it look old and worn- sole was falling off quickly, and the color wasn’t even close to what it looked like in the picture. Do yourself a favor and keep looking.

I wear these shoes Monday-Friday and they are wonderfully comfy! The band at the top is stretchy without being restricting. Sizing is perfect. They are super comfy for my long walks. I am writing this 2 months after purchasing, and I am definitely going to order these in another color!

I've enjoyed wearing these shoes almost every day for the past 8 months (I live in Hawaii). The top strap stretched as time went by so three months ago I had a leather/shoe shop "take in" the woven strap - because the shoe is so well made, they were able to just re-sew both ends of the strap to the sole and they fit like new. Great shoes!

I could have gotten the boots elsewhere, but I knew positively I was going to get them from Zappos because of the great experiences I've had with you in the past.
