I love my new Keens! Comfortable to wear all day without any problems! (I wish they had the bungee tie system, I like that look better.) But the shoes themselves are awesome. Zappos was terrific again I really do appreciate the speed in which you guys deliver my shoes, way to go.

I bought these for a trip home to Seattle, and I wore them the entire time because they are so comfortable. They are indeed waterproof with no leaky areas or damp feeling after days in the rain. The only issue for me is that the heel cup slides just a bit, but this was easily fixed by wearing a pair of more substantial socks. Highly recommend these shoes.

Just received my second pair of Keen Targhee II. They are fantastic. The fit is perfect. The arch support is excellent. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone with foot problems or who is on their feet for long periods of time.

Awesome shoes! Especially great if you need a broad-toed shoe. I have the Voyageur (non-waterproof cousin) in several colors, and now the Targhee II to keep the New England mist off my toes! And they do breathe nicely so my sweaty feet don't get wet from the inside out either. Great product!

This shoe is extremely lightweight, yet rugged. I found it extremely comfortable right out of the box. Unlike other reviewers who complained so much about the shoe's sizing, I found that the sizing was right on with all of the other Keens I own. The only two things that could be improved on this shoe are: 1) The back of the shoe seems to be a bit wide so sand & gravel get in pretty easily. Pulling the laces tighter has no effect on improving this. If someone has a very narrow foot to begin with, this could be a problem. 2) The laces are very hard & kinky, which makes it very difficult to pull them snug, pretty uncomfortable on my hands. This isn't just a fluke because I had ordered several pairs to try & they all had the same weird laces. These two issues are the only reason this shoe didn't get a 5 star rating from me.

Love these shoes! I tried on many brands of hiking shoes from Zappos before I landed on these. I already knew the Keen brand would be good, and these shoes live up to the name. They required no break-in period at all. I took them up a small mountain in Chile on their first wear and got no blisters or hot spots. I love the wide toe box; gives my toes lots of room to spread out. I also like that the outer toe is so substantial, allowing me to kick anything or stick my toe into a hillside for traction without damaging the shoe. For how substantial the shoe is, it's also pretty light, which is another big plus. Highly recommend these boots!

I love the look of this shoe, but the Targhee II do not fit my feet right at all. After sending 5 pair back, I gave up. This shoe is either too tight in the toes or too short in the heels. I wear a size 8 and I even tried a half size bigger. However, they were too big. I wear the Keen Voyageur in my true size 8 with no problem. I will stick with the Voyageur from now on. I cannot be the only person having trouble with this shoe type. Wish Keen would fix the problem.

Fabulous and fashionable shoe for those of us who live in our athletic togs. Walk four miles with your canine companion, then head out for coffee with your significant human other. I buy up half a size or more depending on the season. My only beef is they don't come in BLACK (hint hint), which seriously limits my apparel options.

This is my second pair of these shoes and I love them. I work at a busy veterinary practice and I am on my feet all day. They give great support, and are just plain comfortable. They fit true to size although they are snug when you first get them they stretch out after about a week.

I just bought these shoes and love them! However, I can be anywhere from a 7 to 8 in shoe size, but am a 7.5 80% of the time. I really debated over what size to order, and because of the reviews I saw here, I ordered the 8. Too big. This shoe is true to size, and I just don\'t know why people say it runs small. I ended up getting the 7.5, and it really fits perfectly -- I still have wiggle room!

Just hiked 13 miles in these this weekend! And my feet still feel great. I think they do run a little small, and you're supposed to make sure you have plenty of room for hiking. So, even though I usually wear a 8.5 to 9 and I have a narrow foot, I got these in a 9.5. I pull them tight and they are perfect with my Smartwool trail-runner socks. I was so impressed with these over the weekend, I just ordered my second pair of Keens, some stylish everyday boots. We'll see how they do.

I am so happy with these shoes. I ordered a 1/2 size up after reading the reviews and they are perfect with socks. The best part is, I was upgraded to one day shipping and given VIP status afterwards. Now I will always get one day service. I have never been unhappy with anything from Zappos. Several people in my family feel the same way.

I love my new Keen shoes. I researched the internet for the best price and I found it here with free shipping to me and free return shipping if needed! (Say if I wasn't happy with the fit or color of the shoes.) This company rocks! I will look them up again for all of my future shoe needs. So many choices. It was a good idea I bought it a half size bigger than my normal shoe size. A very comfortable shoe. I get many compliments as well. I work on my feet all day, putting on over 10 miles a day on concrete. I did add a heel gel, and I am in heaven. My feet ache less, and I know I am getting the proper support that I need. Fits like a glove. I got upgraded to fast shipping and believe me, it was fast! Hope you will be enjoying your new Keens soon.

This is a great hiking shoe. My first trip with the Targhee II was a week hiking bits of Vermont's Long Trail. Handled wet, steep, rocky trails with ease. The "quick dry" fabric is exactly what it says on the tin - even after stepping in a pothole full of muck, my socks stayed dry. These are WIDE shoes, with plenty of room in the toebox. I did notice a little heel slipping, but it wasn't uncomfortable. I ordered up 1/2 size, and was glad I did. One warning, if you're looking for more ankle support, you may want to consider the 3/4 height version of this shoe.

This is my second pair of these shoes. I LOVE THEM! I couldn't find them in the store anymore. My first pair are still functional but only for the dog park. My second pair will go with jeans while I'm out and about and not wanting to look dog park ready. I must say that the first pair held up pretty darn good in the snow storms we had this winter. These were the shoes I wore in and out of the snow and my feet never got wet at ALL! I love them, roomy toe box, comfortable...I think you'll love them too!

I ordered 5 1/2, but these were too small, my toe touched the end; however, the heel kept moving up and down when I walked. If you attempt to tighten the shoe lace, the shoe becomes uncomfortable. The tongue of the shoe is fake, so when you tighten the laces, the tongue does not sit underneath smoothly, but bunches up to hurt your feet. I am disappointed to return these after reading so many great reviews, but these are uncomfortable even though they look great.

Great shoes from the start, and still going strong. I bought them to go on a trip to Europe in April (and received them in 1 day - yay for Zappos overnight shipping!!!) and needed something comfortable and waterproof - these did the trick! I didn't even get blisters when breaking them in. Can't wait to hit the hiking trails with them this summer. Many friends have raved about Keen shoes for a long time and I am now officially a fan as well. Be sure to heed the advice of going 1/2 size larger than usual though; otherwise they would have been too tight/short.

The Targee II rocks! I work at a boys’ school in a rural area. I am on my feet a lot on varied terrain. I had polio as a child, am now 64 years old, and have a lot of physical disabilities… none of which has ever stopped me from being very active. This shoe is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn! The shoe accommodates my orthotics as if it were made to do so. My feet are never tired at the end of a long day. When I come home, I feed my horses and the last thing I do is take of my wonderful Targees! Thank you Zappos!

Terrible heel blisters!
I bought these 2 years ago and I STILL get blisters from an ill-placed seam running horizontal right across the back of my heel. I am and outdoor educator and needed a comfortable yet technical hiking shoe to get me through the soggy spring. Every time I put them on, I get a hot spot after 20 minutes of walking/hiking. The only way I can wear them now is with moleskin as a preventative measure. HUGE bummer. Really like Keen shoes.

My 6th pair of Keens -
I love these shoes. Needed a pair of go-to shoes for weekend trips. Relied on my open Keens usually, but for colder, wetter trips needed something else. Wear a 6.5 or 7 and ended up with the 7's. At first a little uncomfortable on top, but after 2 wears they are my favorites

My favorite shoe so far -
I wore my first pair almost every day for a year! I initially bought them for light hiking, but they are so comfortable. They have great traction even in the rain. They are nicely cushioned and they don't bother my ankles at all. Another nice touch is the subtle reflective detailing for walking the dog at night. I bought a second pair and will probably end up with a third, although it took about a day to break in the new pair. These shoes are amazing and they are built to last. I hope Keen never changes the quality and availability of this shoe. I know I can count on Zappos to offer Keen and as always the best customer service in the world.

Be patient -
This is the third pair of Targhee's that I have owned. At first, they are a bit stiff --- but be patient. Soon they will conform to your feet and be your best friend. I use them as an all around shoe --- and also to go hiking in the woods with my dogs (great traction and support). Being waterproof is a good plus. I also wear my orthotics in these shoes -- although the insole is good enough to wear without them.

Recently had hip replacement surgery...these shoes are a GODsend to me. I work on my feet about 9 hours a day. My feet, knees and hips feel WONDERFUL. I have four pairs of KEENS and keep acquiring more. You have saved me KEENS!!!
