These shoes look great but, unfortunately, are very uncomfortable. They pinch at the top where the little buckle is.\r\nI am, however, really impressed with Zappo\'s return policy.

I stand all day teaching elementary kids, and these are great. This is my second pair of Born shoes and I am very satisfied. With my job, shoes usually wear out quickly, but these last.

I'm a professor and have days where I work 12 + hours.
While these shoes aren't as trendy as I might like, they are certainly comfortable. It's always nice to have a few shoes that won't make you take them off and carry them on your way out to the parking lot at the end of the day, lol.

I was looking for an attractive low heel shoe to wear with dresses, but this shoe was just too stiff for my comfort. I ended up sending these back and getting: Ros Hommerson Luxor.

These are comfy shoes but a word of caution, they stretch after wearing a few times. I bought a size 7.5 and they were fine initially but after about 3 wears they stretched so much that I had to doctor them up to be able to wear them without walking right out of them.

These fit me like a dream right out of the box, which must mean that they run a little wider than normal. The heel is just a little wobbly, but that just takes a little getting used to. The spouse really liked these, too, and urged me to buy a pair in another color!

These shoes are very comfortable, except for the heel because it feels a bit wobbly while walking.
I love the red color and the "Victorian” style of the shoe.

Great Shoe!
I'm on my feet about 8 hours a day, lots of walking and running back and forth and these shoes are awesome! So extremely comfortable and I don't even notice the heel. Feels like I'm wearing a flat. Would recommend these shoes to anyone. I also have a heel spur, and it doesn't bother me with these shoes.

Comfy Cute!
These shoes are just adorable. Now that I am a mom of a toddler, shoes have to be practical. I wore these shoes for the first time all day. The only discomfort was the buckle on the left foot. That's not bad for the first day of wearing a new shoe.

Nice, comfortable low-heeled shoe -
This is a very nice low-heeled pump & very comfortable. If I were to order it again I might try ordering a size 9 instead of a 9 1/2. After wearing the shoe several times (all day at work) it seems to have stretched out a bit too much and now slips off my heels.

Just what I was looking for -
Born seems to be the brand that fits me best, and these did not disappoint. The toe box is comfortable for my enlarged, arthritic joints. Loosening the strap a notch made them even more comfortable. I appreciate the low, but attractive heel and stiff midsection, too.

Wide shoe for narrow feet -
I recently ordered two Born shoes - the Situla from Zappos (size 7) & the Jacci (size 8, then exchanged for a 7.5) from Shoeline. I usually wear a size 8 but both shoes are just so wide (and even a bit long in length)! I ended up buying 2oz Miracle insoles for the Jacci's and it looks like they'll be the better pair. The Situla is nicely padded but it's a higher padding, so with the insoles, it's too snug (almost painfully so)! Anyway, beautiful shoe regardless of the fact that I have to return them - beware if you have narrow feet.

I've never put on a pair of shoes that were immediately as comfortable as these. I am 7 months pregnant and have been having problems with my sciatic nerves. My doctor recommended that I find a shoe with a bit of a heel (not a total flat) -- and I found these. AMAZING! Not only has my back stopped bothering me, but I'm able to stand on my feet all day with no problems. I bought two pairs of these-- the green and red. Love them both!!

Depends on the shape of your foot!
The shoe is gorgeous, I've been complimented on the shoes every day I have worn them so far! The comfort level falls a little short... the buckle strap hits in a bad place on my right foot. It fits in the indent separating my little toe from the knuckle. After a couple hours my foot is sore. On the left side the strap hits a little more on the knuckle. As a result, no soreness on that foot. I still really like these shoes. As a result of the soreness, I can wear them for a social event, that's about it. The foot bed is extremely cushioned and the heel has a very soft, shock absorbing effect. Like walking on clouds!

Totally comfortable -
This shoe is totally comfortable with a nice padded foot bed. It really dresses up a casual look. The heel height is great for running around all day. I bought these to have a little dressier look while still being casual. Perfect!!! The only draw back is the heel feels a little sloppy width wise which is not a problem I have ever had. It would be better a little snugger. I still would recommend!!!!

Way too big!
I ordered these in an 8.5 and I received them and they were at least a full size too big. The inside of the shoe said 8.5 US/40 EU which I think is sized incorrectly.

CUTE AND COMFORTABLE!
I bought the Born Situla in the Forest Leather color. Very nice color, it looks kind of olive green brownish. Goes well with a lot. I wore these shoes right out of the box the first day all day long and they were amazingly comfortable. I love the rubber sole, it not only adds cushion but they don't slip! They fit true to size except for they are little wide on my feet but I have narrow feet. I am so happy with my first Born purchase that I am already looking to add to the collection.

A cute shoe -
I was not aware that a M width, as stated on site, is marked and sized as M/W. These are too wide for my M width feet, and they run long, at least a half size. If these fit correctly, they can be very comfy as the insole is cushioned. This style is the same as a pair I had in the 60s'and I love the retro look. If they had 10.5 I'd reorder. The Forester is a versatile, subdued color and seems to blend with many other colors.

Super comfortable shoes!
My feet are flat and wide, but these still felt comfy. They weren't quite as fashionable looking as I'd anticipated (or maybe just not on my number 10 feet, more likely). They are cute and serviceable.

Tricked--now too late to return them -
I thought these would be the perfect everyday shoe-comfortable design, easy on the eye, simple transaction to buy from Zappos. Not so fast! I knew I had ordered a size 10, and upon initially trying the shoe on, I thought all was fine--so I threw away the packing materials--fully thinking I was going to keep these shoes with no problem. I wore them a few days and begin to notice they felt bigger--and began having problems keeping them on as I walked. Upon closer inspection the size 10 printed on the inside of the shoe had in smaller print size 42. No wonder! I think this shoe is mis-sized-a 42 is actually an 11. So returns are improbable now--I am stuck with shoes sold as 10s but really 11...I am very disappointed.
I have spent this money for something I won't now wear...And I bought my size, believing it would be my size!

Look better than feel -
These look great on, and felt great for about 5 minutes. The stitching around the top edge is plastic thread, and started poking into my skin after a few minutes. Just a couple of places, but not pleasant. Also, after walking around in them for a day my feet were not happy - just not shaped right on the bottom to support my feet.

I just got the shoes last night and put them right on. My feet were tired and sore from my other shoes but I could still wear these new ones comfortably! I have worn them all day today, too.
