They fit my size 10B feet just fine, the calf was a little bit big. It was the quality of the thin leather I was disappointed with. It bunched and bagged up at the ankle because the leather couldn't hold up its own weight. The black leather was also too shiny for my taste and back they went.

Gorgeous, very nice leather, true fit for my size 10 feet, but the calves were huge. Could've fit two of my legs into one. Very disappointing because they came up to my knees (I'm 6 foot) and were very well made.

There's a couple things I really liked about these boots: the extra long shaft which actually reached to my knees, a first for me, and an unusual heel design. Though the heel from the outside looks perfectly flat, there's about a one inch lift inside, making your legs look longer. But the shaft is very wide: 16+" on a size nine, so they sag and wallow around my calves. Back they go.

I was desperately looking for a "classic" tall leather riding boot style without any ruching, buckles, zippers, bands, hardware, etc. I also couldn't afford $400 for a pair of boots. Finally I found these, which fit the bill. They're well-made, the leather is nice, they're comfortable and have that classic riding boot look, but updated. The fit is true to size. I usually wear a size 10 shoe and often need a wide width. I ordered these in a 10 W and they fit perfectly.

 |  | Dear Zappos, Okay, help me understand something. I place an on-line order last evening at about 8:00. I screw up how to use my store credit and can’t figure out how to fix it. I resort to calling your toll free number to fix my stupid mistake and expect to be on hold for at least 20 minutes. Wow is all I can say! A real live person answers the phone in two rings after I debated with myself whether or not to press the option for joke of the day. He corrects my problem and even makes the decision to not charge my credit card for the less than $2 difference between my store credit and the amount due for the running shoes I ordered. On top of this, the shoes were sitting on my doorstep tonight after I came home from work. I even wore them for my evening workout. How dare you do this in less than 20 hours after my mistake! You just set the customer service pole vault bar at 37 feet in my book! Terrific, terrific service. Thank you very much! I now consider myself a customer for life. You all will have to work very hard to make me buy a pair of shoes from another company. I’m new to Zappos and you can bet I will be looking to Zappos for other purchases! Many thanks... my next order will be tomorrow evening so I can surprise my wife with a new pair of Berks she wants, but actually needs... it isn’t always good to want things!
