These boots are awesome! Unlike most slide on boots these do not clonk up and down on your feet as you walk. The weight was a shocker, feather light, they weigh less than my tennis shoes! I recommend these to anyone, they are super comfortable and since I bought them I haven't worn any other shoe. I did read other reviews posted on zappos.com before I purchased them and discovered that most said to order a half size to a full size smaller. I ordered them like I do most boots a size smaller and they are a perfect fit.

These are great looking boots. I, too, was worried about ordering them since they were not real leather, but they look great! They don't look fake at all and are very sharp looking boots. The only thing I could say is the tops aren't that great (I got the black ones), but I always wear my jeans down over them anyway. Don't hesitate to buy them because of the synthetic leather!

I purchased the Roper Chunk boot in black; they were so comfy and cute I had to order the brown ones also. I wear these boots from 6:00 am till 5:00 pm; they are as comfy as my running shoes. Wonderful for the wet cold days we have on the Oregon coast!

I love my Roper boots! They are true to size and have good support. I can wear them all day at work and they are great in the rain. I was thrilled to find a western boot by a boot company that isn't leather. I am sure Roper doesn't care about vegans or leather free issues, but they could promote this boot as such. It has a bit of a synthetic lining which is comfy and warm enough for rainy Oregon days. I have two pairs and really don't care to wear any of my other boots any more. They get frequent compliments.

Was my first time ordering from Zappos. Will continue to do this, great service, my compliments to the great staff. I received the boots which I must say are super cute, and comfy; wore them the day I got them which was less then 5 days after I ordered and haven't worn much else since. I have one leg that swells and these boots are roomy enough to accommodate for it. Thanks again to the pickers and packers at Zappos, great job.

Super comfy, sturdy and I dig the look!
I'm really happy with this purchase. I was looking for traditional shorter cowboy boots but when I saw these I was was excited that my options weren't limited to "that look". These boots are super comfy, are the perfect height for me. I immediately put them on the day they arrived and wore them for the rest of the day. I love my boots!

This is my 1st time ordering shoes form Zappos and I am very pleased. I love my Roper Chunk boot. They are light weight and comfortable. I would recommend this boot to other women.

For the price, pretty good!!
After receiving my boots, I realized that I hadn't read everything in the details, and that the boots are not leather. My fault completely, not Zappos!!! But on the bright side, while I had ordered them to replace a pair of leather Ropers that I wore out, these boots are still comfortable and they look dang good. They may not last as long as my previous pair (4 years), but for the price, I'm not going to complain. They really are comfortable and being that they feel a half size bigger than ordered, I can wear good thick wool socks in them while I'm at work, and my feet don't scream at me after a full day of working on a cold cement floor. So all in all, I think it is a good boot for the price and for the materials used to make it. Why didn't I return the boots when I realized they weren’t exactly what I wanted? Because I'm lazy, and darn it, the boots besides being comfortable, look really good!

Smoking cool boot -
I love this boot! What a smoking cool design? These boots are so comfortable you can wear them everyday and every where. I plan on ordering another pair soon.

AWESOME BOOT!!!
I ordered a pair of these Roper boots in brown for my 13 year old daughter, who wanted a cowboy boot but without the obnoxious "cowboy boot" look.
She is thrilled with the way they look with jeans and can wear them with a number of things, including hoodies. She wears them all day to school and says they are just as comfortable as her Nikes! We are going to order the black pair too!

Comfort is here in a boot -
This boot is very lite weight, and the comfort is there!! I wear them on motorcycle rides, and they really work out great I'm thinking about the brown next!! Get a 1/2 size smaller and you'll be set!

Great looking boots -
I've gotten a lot of compliments on these boots. The design is really cool. However, I have to mention that they could use a bit more padding. Then again, I have plantar fascitiis, so maybe they're very comfy for people with normal feet.

Super Cute and Comfortable!
I just received these boots today, and it's the first pair of cowboy boots I have owned and was quite surprised by their comfort. They have a cushioned sole and the shaft is quite soft. They look fabulous with jeans, and are quite stylish and modern looking. They are definitely not the stiff pointed toed boots I see around town. I live in Dodge City, Kansas so I see a lot of boots! Besides with the free shipping, they were the cheapest boots around!

Best fitting boot ever!
This is the most comfortable boot ever. It is very light weight, but great "work" boot or for "anytime" wear. I would buy one of every color made!
