I didn't think the boots were overly masculine; rather, I thought they were quite feminine. Fairly delicate. I have three pairs of Sam Edelman and all of them run about a half size big. I usually wear a size 9 in most shoes, but all three pairs of Sam Edelman's that I own are 8.5. The boots rub slightly in the back, nothing that one of those heel pads won't fix. Additionally, the elastic in the tongue of the boot is not as tight as another pair of oxfords that are designed similarly. I may actually put laces in this boot.

I was super excited when Zappos finally got these boots because no one else seemed to carry them. I've been looking for a cool oxford bootie, but was a little disappointed when they arrived. First of all, they run almost a whole size too big and my heel would slip out. They are not fitted to the foot and tend to look masculine. Unfortunately they are being returned. Zappos did do an amazing job with the shipping time. They upgraded me to faster shipping for free and I got the boots the next day! Thanks Zappos. I'll definitely be back for something else.

 |  | Dear Zappos, My daughter (Morgan) is a student at Ohio State University.
Approximately one month ago she had emergency gall bladder surgery. On Tuesday, September 15th, she had a follow up with her surgeon before she was to leave to move into her dorm on Thursday, September 17th. At the appointment, the surgeon advised that under no circumstances was she to lift over ten pounds until the end of October. We were told to that she would have to use a rolling book bag. My friend highly recommended Zappos.com. On Tuesday, September 15th, Morgan and I picked out a book bag from Zappos. Morgan was so anxious to place her online order, she did not choose the priority shipping option. I called Zappos within 15 minutes of her placing the order. Your customer service rep was very kind and far exceeded my customer service expectations by making me a VIP and offering to waive the
overnight fee. I was very impressed and very grateful. The bag arrived overnight as promised, but it was too small. I hated to return the book bag because your rep had been so kind. Yesterday, a beautiful get well bouquet arrived at our home for Morgan. It was from Zappos! There is no way I will return that bag without picking something else out from Zappos. In addition, I want EVERYONE to know what a wonderful company you are. I am so impressed and cannot thank you enough Zappos! Also, thank you for giving me the e-mail address to send my feedback.
