These shoes are great for winter walking - they\'re very warm, keep my feet dry in wet weather, and have a good sturdy tread on the bottom that\'s great on icy mornings. I love that I can just slip into them easily without bothering with laces. Like all Keens, they\'re true to size. I have high arches, so with the slip-on shoe, I needed to go a half-size up so that they aren\'t too tight on the top of my foot, especially when I wear my thick winter socks.

Excellent Shoe - This shoe is great. Its super comfortable and keeps my feet nice and toasty. I do notice it is a bit low by the heel as mentioned in another review but it's not enough for me to dislike the shoe. It's great that it's waterproof. I'm ready for the winter slush. Thanks Zappos.

Oh my, these feel heavenly on your feet. Great arch support; such good support that I'd probably not need my orthotic. But, there is always a but, no? The height of the heel on the back of your ankle is just too low. If you did use an orthotic, you'd walk right out of this shoe because the backs are so low, almost like a clog.

I tried these in a 7.5 and they slip off my heel. I will try them in a 7 and hope they work. I have an older Keen style called Bend in a 7.5 (I bought 3 pairs) which I love, but many are not right for me. Why cannot a shoe company be consistent in sizing?

Love this shoe -
I am very picky, and am in love with this shoe. It's the most comfortable pair I have bought in ages and will keep me dry this Washington winter. They do run true to size, and are a little heavy, but the arch support is dreamy. Big thumbs up.

Living in Seattle as I do, I liked the waterproof aspect of this shoe. The last pair of Keen shoes that I bought were a tad small in the toe box so I ordered this one a half size larger than my usual size 10. Could be that fact and also because the shoe is quite heavy, they slipped of my heels when I walked in them. The shoe is very chunky as the last reviewer noted, and heavier than I anticipated. I ended up sending them back.

Love the colors and the warmth of this Keen Betty shoe, but it looks very fat and bulky on my foot. Would be a good shoe for a lot of outdoor walking in winter as arch support is wonderful. Just not a shoe for what I wanted it for and not for my foot. It is a heavy duty shoe and sole is very thick.
