These slippers feel wider and larger than my usual size 7. They are just slightly too big, but I know size 6 would be too short. Half size would be nice, but slippers don't usually come in half sizes, do they? I haven't seen any others I like as well, alas.

Just ordered my third pair of "Old Friends"\r\nslippers. This magnificent slipper has been\r\naround forever, and Zappos keeps on offering it.\r\nIt\'s unbelievably soft with deep, deep lining.\r\nIt cradles the foot in the most heavenly way. \r\nIt would make an amazing present for someone\r\nwho doesn\'t yet know about "Old Friends" slippers.\r\n

These slippers are so warm and comfortable. I can’t wait to get home from work every day to put them on. My feet are alway cold and these really keep your feet warm. I did have to order up a size because of all the fur.

Didn't hold up over time -
I was excited about these comfy, warm slippers when I got them, but they did not hold up. I don't abuse my slippers, and no animals chew on them. The stitching around the front started to come out and I couldn't repair them. The fleece seems to be of cheaper quality since it matted and stays that way. My last slippers (from LL Bean) lasted me for 16 years, these less than two. I'd recommend spending a little extra and going for better quality. These slippers are middle-of-the-road quality and were a disappointment to me after the first few months.

Heaven for Your Feet!
I have looked everywhere for a soft soled moc and was delighted to finally find these. These mocs feel heavenly! After a hard day in heels or hard soled flats, slipping these on is a treat. I challenge anyone who tries them not to sigh a great big 'Aaaaahhhhh' ever time. Although I was concerned that they might be too warm for TX, I have been pleasantly surprised. Even when the highs have been in the 80s my feet do not feel hot. The ONLY complaint I have is that they are not at all attractive! In fact, someone asked if I was wearing my hubby's slippers. It is a small price to pay for the joy of happy feet! Big kudos to Zappos, too! The mocs were delivered to my door in what seemed like hours! I have never had faster service on anything I ordered online or through a catalog even when I paid for expedited shipping. I will definitely order more shoes this way!

Love these slippers!
I absolutely love these slippers. They are so comfortable and don't make my feet overheat. I honestly look forward to putting them on when I'm at home.
Since they don't come in half sizes, I went with the larger size (I usually wear a 7 or 7 1/2 and bought an 8) and I'm glad I did. Even though they will stretch a bit, it's always better for a slipper to be slightly big than too small!

Just what I needed -
You probably noticed the three stars for looks (fair to middlin'), but I bought them for comfort and utility, not glamour. I do medical transcription and have to feel my foot pedal; the soft sole allows this. When my feet get cold, my legs ache from arthritis, so the fleece keeps me nice and warm. I read one comment that the fleece is good to fill in the space for narrow or in-between feet. I actually have average to "pudgy" feet, and they often swell, but these Mocs give my toes plenty of wiggle room, perhaps because I got a 7 instead of usual 6 ½.

LOVE THESE SLIPPERS!
I ordered two sizes because I wasn't sure whether a 7 or 8 would fit better. My 17-year-old daughter tried them on and said, "I want these!" I wear the 7 (in shoes I take a 7.5) and my daughter wears the 8. We kept both pairs. We both love them and wear them all the time. ZAPPOS is great. We received them very quickly. I've ordered from ZAPPOS before and would not hesitate to do it again!!

Comfort for the foot & sole!
I find these Soft Sole Mocs just right--was given a pair of shearling lined mules with a hard sole a few years back, but my heels kept sliding out sideways because of the hard sole and its narrow heel. These allow my feet to remain balanced as I walk. My heels tend to slide sideways off most slippers and the wrap-around style of these makes walking in them secure and comfortable. The sole is thick enough for good cushioning, and the slipper is warm. I like the adjustable ties. It is easy to step in and out of these.

Ought to be unisex -
I bought these for my husband for Christmas. I had a really hard time finding inexpensive soft-soled moccasins, and was thrilled to find these on another web site, but when I came to Zappos, they appeared to be unavailable. I called customer service, and they found them right away under women’s!
Anyway, the moccasins themselves are wonderful: the inside is soft, the outside is durable, and my husband loves that the tie is an actual shoelace, instead of one of those leather things. He almost never takes them off!

Old Friend slipper doesn't hold up -
I've had mine for about 2 yrs. At first they were cozy and lovely, but after about 6 mos. the stitching in the front started to come out. I had to tie it off - not pretty. The lining was worn down under the balls of my feet after about 9 months. I only wear them in the house, but for the entire cold season.
If you're just a "bedroom to bathroom" slipper wearer, they might be fine for you. I you actually WEAR your slippers, they don't hold up well. For my next pair I'm going to spend the extra money for LL Bean slippers again. My last pair held up for 16 years.

Was satisfied with slippers, only come in whole sizes so they were a little short since the next size would be too large. I think they will break in with time. Very warm and comfy.
Service is always excellent with Zappos.

It’s so warm!!
I love the Old Friend's soft sole moc; it is such a warm one, that I'd definitely buy again when I wear them down. I also find that the price is very reasonable as I did some shopping around and this was the lowest I could get for its quality. It is also warm enough that it keeps my feet toasty, during the worst of the cold season we've had recently.

I love these mocs so much I have back ups! I have severe gout in my right foot which prevents me from wearing most of my shoes. I wear these soft soles everywhere. Outside when dry, shopping, I mean everywhere. The clean up really well. I have bought my daughters a pair, and myself the hard soles for wet weather.

New Old Friend -
I was looking for a cozy and comfortable slipper for $50 or less. I chose this slipper based on the excellent reviews it had received and have not been disappointed. The slippers are easy to slip on and off, warm but not sweltering, and very comfortable. My apartment has slippery wood floors and a cold tiled bathroom, but I don't notice when I'm wearing my Old Friend's slippers. The only thing is that I have very narrow heels, and at first couldn't keep my feet in the slippers. However, the drawstring really does function to snug up the heel and that worked fine for me. The slippers appear to be quite well made, I'm sure they would wear fine outdoors as well - I anticipate wearing them for years to come.

Old Friend is a new friend -
These mocs are great -- really well made, and very comfortable. They have a soft suede sole made of the same material as the rest of the moc, which is getting very hard to find. I prefer this sole over the rubber or hard leather sole that is put on virtually every other moccasin these days. The woven laces are functional if you want to adjust the fit, and they stay tied. A pleasant surprise, all around.
