Because I depend on the reviews of others, would like to praise these New Balance Gore-Tex running shoes. Have needed to keep my 71 year old feet dry during my winter runs and these shoes are working nicely. I wanted the big toe box, but the shoe was a little too deep and they were hitting my ankle bones. Fixed this in a flash with gel heel cups. They are very good for pavement to gravel suburban running; flexible but a good sturdy feel.

I was really looking forward to these shoes. I loved the color and thought it was wonderful that they are made with Gortex. However, I was disappointed when I tried them on. I have worn New Balance for about 15 years so I am quite familiar with them and they are my favorite athletic shoe. These shoes run much more narrower than normal and although they have the absorb heal, they are not as comfortable as the other new balance shoes I have. Love the style but unfortunately I am returning.

My 64 year old feet love these shoes. I regularly hike the Black Hills of SD and find these shoes keep my feet dry, grip the trail and are so comfortable.

These shoes are true to width and very comfortable. I have worn them walking and for aerobics. They are perfect.
