The shoes look great. They are a little narrow but otherwise fit decent with no socks. I have a very wide foot with a high instep.

I love my "Chucks" I wear them all of the time; they are the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn. Their vintage classic styling makes them good for everyday and for weddings and church services too. Zappos is a great online store my "Chucks" were at my door the very next day!!

Chuck Taylor Converse Review -
Bought the shoe for the classic look. You can wear them with anything, I'm in a band and wear them on stage when I don't wear boots. I took the insoles from some of my Asics running shoes and put them in and they are much more comfortable.

Great boots! They were the first pair of boots I had ever bought, and I couldn't be happier. I own mostly sneakers and flip flops, and I can say without a doubt that these are my favorite and most comfortable shoes. I wear them with skirts, shorts, under or over jeans. Basically with whatever I want and they're perfect. I got absolutely not blisters from them, and I only had to walk around the house once to break them in.

I read a few reviews and they all seemed to suggest I order a half size down. Well, I listened and they were all right. I normally wear a 12 and I order an 11.5 and it fits perfect.

These shoes are rad! good for skateboarding, if you don’t wanna pay top dollar for "top of the line, high quality, in style, bulky, name brand" shoes that look like space boots on your feet. Only problem for most people (not me), it has no padding. And little arch support (which is why some dr. made Scholl’s). Good shoes for the price, and free, fast shipping.

Converse Red Chucks Unchanged -
Converse Chuck Taylor Hi-tops are the same as always. I was pleased with my purchase. Although you'd never want to walk coast to coast in them, they are reasonably comfortable and a footwear classic. They haven't suffered from being manufactured overseas. I think it's great that the manufacturer is experimenting with crazy limited edition-type ideas like crazy prints and up-to-the-knee go go boot Chucks.

Holy crap! Zappos is awesome!
First of all: I ordered my shoes at 10pm on Tuesday night. By 3am Wednesday morning, my shoes arrived in Chicago where I live, and when the post office opened at 1pm I found them tucked neatly inside my mailbox. I barely had enough time to process the fact that I ordered new shoes before they were actually on my feet! I’m wearing them right now and I couldn’t be happier with Zappos' incredible service! Not only is shipping free, but FAST!
Secondly, the shoe itself is fantastic. I’ve worn Converse my whole life so I always know what to expect. For the customer who has never worn them, though, make sure you order them true to size and wear socks for the first week you break them in.
These shoes are an all-American classic and they look great on anybody.

Fine example of canvas shoe -
This is a good example of an old-style canvas shoe. It's great for what it is, but doesn't set any standards for comfort.

Punk, rock, to goth, to emo.
Well Converse has been part of the rock scene since the 60's. And for me it’s more emo/pop punk/post Goth than anything. Just depends what you wear with them. I wear skinny blue jeans, black shirt, spike, stud cuffs w/ chain wallet and monochrome Cons because they kinda look like Goth boots.

I found that ordering true-to-size is best - ordering down a size gets the length right, but not the width (and my feet are an average shape). Very nice shoes. To wear them around all day, at least use a Dr. Scholl's insole though.

I love the shoe but I can’t find the right size for my foot. I have a wide foot and it looks like its leaning over on the sides. But I love the shoe.

This is an awesome pair of shoes that can get away with being sporty and stylish making everyone turn their heads! I give three stars for the comfort because they're a little hard on the feet when ran in and are a little stiff. Overall - a great pair of shoes!

Been wearing these puppies since 1952, or as long as I can remember. They are still way comfortable and lightweight, very cool, and good price for the quality. I have always purchased the next larger size and they fit. Buy several different pairs in different colors and mix and match.

Classic and cool -
I've been looking to buy a pair of Chucks for a while now, and I'm glad I went with Zappos- I ordered Thursday, and was wearing my shoes Friday! Great service. The look of the Chuck Taylors is fun and casual. They're perfect for work where I need a certain color of shoe in a serviceable style, but where I also want a certain quirkiness to give some flair to my uniform. They're super comfy in all but the arch support, but even that is only an issue the first few days. After less than a week of heavy wear, they already have broken in perfectly, and fit like a glove.

For my 13 year old hip hop dancer -
Of course the look is very "Hip"! My 13 year old daughter needed such footwear for a dance recital, her discipline is hip hop. They were great for the performance and now, though she should be saving them just for dance class, she is enjoying the sassy/tomboy look of wearing them everyday.

My son really liked them -
I bought them for my son and he really liked them. The blue is a nice color. I ordered a 1/2 size down like they recommended and they fit just right. The shipping was very fast too.

I saw Zappos on my local news, and I was really impressed to see how well the owner took such great care of his employees, and how happy everyone seemed to be during the interview...this was a company I just had to check out. I am a diabetic who has had so much foot and leg pain due to my walking 14-16 miles per day on concrete as I run a sales counter by myself...I just love the shoe I chose. I wish I would have known about this fantastic site earlier.
