Unique boot perfect for the weather. I love that these look different than a lot of boots you see around. They are not too thick, but keep your feet very warm and dry! The small wedge heel is not even noticeable and they are so, so, so comfortable. They look cute with skirts and jeans, tucked in or out. Great quality. You will love them!

I am usually a diehard Earth brand buyer. I returned both the Lodge 2 and the more urban one they just came out with. These are the most comfortable and sleek winter boots you could buy. For winter I usually get a 1/2 size larger due to thick socks. You don\'t need to with this boot. Plenty of room and also fit over larger calves due to the lace up. And extremely easy to get on and off with the small zipper on the side. You don\'t have to keep untying them to put them on.

These are nice boots, but I\'m returning them. They are a bit narrow throughout. I\'m 5\'7, 150 lbs., with thick calves and ankles, so they were snug in those areas. They have excellent arch support, and are moderately comfy. I wore them for a week in autumn in the rain, and they were nice and warm, as they should be. I thought the laces were annoying to adjust. Even though it says you can tie them up and use the zipper to get them on and off, I found I had to adjust the laces every time, just to get them on. There was no room to speak of to tuck jeans in, leggings looked nice though. I would recommend these only for thinner ankle and calved women. I exchanged them for the Sorel Hoonah.

The first time I tried these on, two of the loops the laces go through broke. That's ridiculous. Other than that shoddy eyelets, these fit well and seemed like they would have been great winter boots. Too bad about the laces, these are being returned.

These shoes are awesome! These are already my favorite boots. They are so comfortable and they are not big and bulky. The zipper on the side makes them very easy to get in and out of. I would definitely recommend them!

These boots are the trifecta of perfection, in my opinion. They have it all! Comfort, style, and warmth. I have worn them under jeans, over leggings, and on their own and they are very versatile. In fact, I've barely taken them off since I took them out of the box. They are pretty sleek for being an insulated winter boot. Way sleeker looking than any Uggs I've ever seen! They have a nice fuzzy lining so they feel great on. Super comfortable, supportive footbed. They are easy to get on and off without adjusting the laces; just use the zipper on the inside of the ankle. The PrimaLoft makes them warm without being clammy. I have small calves, but they would also work if you have bigger calves, as the calf is adjustable with the laces. Buy these boots!

 | | All too often people log only complaints with companies for doing something wrong, but few take the same time to acknowledge the good. I received an email that my order was upgraded to priority shipping for no other reason than to say Thanks for the business. These are the kinds of things that totally win over customers, getting something extra when all you expect is the normal. Thanks for the added bonus, you've got a new loyal customer who has already mentioned this to several co-workers today. | | ~ Tim H., October 20 2009
