My husband had Salomon\'s like this, but an older style that were discontinued. He needs a black shoe or boot for work. He walks a lot and in the cold, wet weather during the winter. He really likes these as they are comfortable, light weight and keep his feet warm and dry.

Bad fit, super light, looks like good quality, but was very narrow at the toes, and very open at the calf (which cause the heel to lift when walking). So if you have a giant calf (or planning on wearing your pants in your boots), this one if for you, but buy 1/2 size bigger. (Have a look at the Salomon Snowtrip TS WP; these were perfect.)

I ordered my boots on-line and got them in less than a week. Zappos offered the lowest price on these boots and free shipping to boot (no pun intended of course). I tried them on and they were the perfect size. I know they will keep my feet warm in the Alaska cold in a week or two.

 |  | I know many times all you hear about are complaints, but this note is just to let you know that out of all my experiences with websites and purchasing online (which I do a lot of), your website, your ordering process, and your return process is the easiest I have ever experienced. I just a placed an order, and it was just like “1, 2, 3,” and I had made my purchase. I have ordered from you before, and unfortunately had to make some returns, but it was a breeze to return.
