These are pretty much the perfect "hot nurse" shoes. Great for schlepping around New York in the fall rain - good gripping soles, quiet stacked rubber heel. Pretty authentic looking 1940s vibe. The leather looked a little cheap out of the box but is breaking in nicely, they are light and stable, well-balanced, no rubbing or pinching. I am a true 7 1/2 and they are definitely a little big, but I\'m cool with that since I could use more arch support as well. Room for a good insole.

These look absolutely adorable and go great with casual or dress slacks. The only problem that I have with them is that the toe area is a little tight and becomes uncomfortable after wearing them for a couple of hours. I did solve the problem by putting in something to keep my foot from sliding down the shoe so far, but this is a nuisance to me. But I have many pairs of Clarks shoes and I normally love them.

I've been thinking of when I was 2 and my dad used to sit on the fireplace some evenings and polish all of his leather dress shoes by hand. These shoes so make me think of that! But they're stylin' for the ladies with their little chunk heel. I've bought some cheaper dress type shoes before and they've always been hard against my feet but when I got these, dude! They were almost like friggin' tennis shoes by comparison! Good arch support and all cushiony and stuff. I can take a size 8 or 9 depending on the brand and I took a size 8 in this one.

These shoes are extremely comfortable, right out of the box, and feel true to size and width. I've gotten many compliments on them already (black leather/black patent). They look great with both pants and skirts. I highly recommend them!

 |  | Placed an order for a new pair of boots on Thursday around 4p.m. and I received the boots on Friday around 4 p.m. Loved the new boot, and the great service beats looking for a parking space at the mall. No hassle or time consuming shopping.
